  1. Even though Red Dead Redemption is my favourite game, the bounty hunter quest were actually pretty straight forward. You just have to pick Up the bounty sheet, go to the place where it was last seen, kill the cronies and snatch the guy or kill him. In RDR2 i really hope that the bounty hunter quest is by all means exactly that. I'm thinking of a quest like the ones Skyrim has, joining the dots, looking for clues in different areas, questioning people by the easy or the hard way... What do you guys think about it?

  2. I think that would be cool. It was also be neat if you ran into another bounty hunting posse trying to take the same bounty, and you have to barter with them or fight them. From town to town, visit different saloons and follow the bounties trail of crime to find them.

  3. I don't know if this has been mentioned or even discussed but I am hoping to see some random server crate drops that players have to hunt down and find. It is entirely random and only happens once every 24 hours at any time of the day. If no one finds and captures the crate in the 24 hours, it just disappears. They can have like ammo, money, weapons, gear for your character, gear for your horse, maybe specialty bounty information and guests, anything like that.

  4. Haven’t seen a thread on this made yet. I think it would be pretty cool if in RDR2 online if there was factions where players can have a role each to do around the world, to make interactions with other players a lot more fun and realistic. Roles could vary from Lawmen, Outlaws, Bounty Hunters, Normal Hunters and so on. What does everyone think about this?

  5. Yeah, I agree, I thought it would be cool to see a role-playing type feature to feel more involved within the world when playing online.

  6. I think its an interesting idea. Are spoils shared amongst the camp or posses? If so, an entirely too large idea is this: A couple farmers, a couple hunters, a couple fisherman, a couple traders, a couple bounty hunters and a couple keeping the peace around the ranch, and a couple train robbers. speaking of, customizable ranches. The posse can build it up, raise livestock, train the horses, or build on the land. Obvioisly that involves an almost No Man's Sky level of customization which won't happen in this game, but maybe consider it for the future. For now, it would be cool to have some ranchers in the group, helping to train the horses to get them ready for jobs. One possible issue is if a lawman is in your posse, and you are a train robber, there is a conflict created amongst your own group. The lawman not making arrest affects his position with the townsfolk and other officers. I am also apprehensive of taking one job and falling into being stuck in one area of the world. Although I wouldn't mind being a barkeep at a saloon and hearing amazing stories while watching duels.

  7. @TheHansonGoons that would be awesome!!! I mean, you'll not only just have to search the bounty, but actually fight for it with other posses...man i can't wait!

  8. I think it will be cool to see how bounties get taken in western movies, spend a few days to get to the location where you claim the bounty dead or alive. Would be funny to see the bounty escape and you have to track them down.

  9. Have not heard this one in a while. Had to give it a listen. Music just ain't as good these days so I rotate the classics and this one makes my top 20 list for sure.

  10. I would like it to be a series of "hunting down" the men. Like you get the direct information about them but you can't just go to the location and expect them to be there. Maybe they are out doing something else, maybe they headed to the mountains to hide, anything like that. It can be a bit more challenging and time-consuming in that sense and to me, it would make it more fun.

  12. If the leak I posted back in June is accurate, it looks like tracking a bounty will be a lot more in depth. Which sounds awesome. Check out the thread New Online Leak?

  14. Give me a guy that looks like a rugged Bruce Campbell or Clint Eastwood and I am in hog heaven. @BropolloCreed79 nailed it with the comment of not having randomized loot crates. Its one thing to be able to purchase the selection of your choice, but to purchase a random roll of cosmetics where a person ends up dumping more money in than the actual game's cost but ends up with getting duplicate clothing is absurd. Loot crates should only be purchased with in game currency. Real currency should buy specific cosmetics of the player's choice. I hope every game company learned from EA's blunders in Battlefront 2. Money should not make any player better than another to create a pay-to-win experience. Nor should it be spent on possibility of duplicates. Dead by Daylight does well of offering some cosmetics available for purchase with money, as well as other outfits available with iridescent shards(in game currency). Its equal and allows for the player to acquire the specific feel and look they are seeking.

  15. Does everyone think the part of Mexico that was in RDR1 will return? New Austin has been pretty much confirmed. And my most recent post in this thread : I’m hoping this is the case so we can visit old memories but still have an enormous scaled world to explore.

  16. I will likely play the storyline once and then hop online. After a while, maybe a year or so, I will go back and play the story again. That is what I did with RDR. Was a nice refresher.

  17. As long as the items aren't locked behind randomized lootboxes that are cash-only, I suspect this is exactly what we will see. Allowing users to customize their online experience has been a financial boon for publishers and developers. I know I use The Division and ESO a lot as examples, but the two are very different when it comes to monetizing aesthetic content. ESO literally lets you buy individual items or sets to furnish a character or your character's home. Everything and anything from hair and facial hair, to the curtains on your castle or cottage. Pets. Mounts. Flowerbeds. Cosmetic Armor (known as motifs in game). The Division relies on random lootboxes that are broken into collections (there are currently four). Each box contains three items from any number of generic clothing items, weapon or backpack skins, and includes the potential to roll for a piece of a cosmetic "set" (which is usually limited to three or four sets per collection). The beauty of the system in the Division is that players can earn currency to purchase these boxes via in-game activities, so they're accessible to players who don't can't or won't spend the cash. Depending on the level of customization that R* has planned for RDR2, it's hard to say which system would be better. If the option to set up a camp or base of operations for your outlaw/gang is part of the online component of RDR2, then I would lean heavily towards the ESO model. But if the customization was limited to player cosmetic customization, I'd have no problem with the model employed by The Division, or a similar model. Hell, they could have daily bounties or missions that generate currency for in-game purchases for all we know. The next few weeks are going to be run as hell as they release the info bit by bit.

  18. At the end of a long week at work, there's only one song that can get me back to where I need to be, the last song I want to hear when I'm on my deathbed:
