@CMcC Go to the game and press the options button, there you'll see an option to "Check for update". Select it and it should detect the patch.

Had my first experience of gore today:

Usually game developers fool the gamer with their mistakes with graphics. NOT ME! I SEE RIGHT THROUGH IT. Haha, but no seriously, my main thing isn't the graphics, it's mainly gameplay and the story. I love the story and gameplay so far, and I have definitely recognize the graphics. ITS PURE EYE CANDY. Which is why I think this game deserves game of the year. Plays good, story is good so far, and it looks good. The most key elements in a game, and most games come half way. It should go story, gameplay, graphics. In that specific order. If the gameplay is sh*t, and the graphics are sh*t, AT THE VERY LEAST MAKE IT HAVE A GOOD STORY!

Have you tried donating it your camp for crafting? Works for me, you don't even have to take it off the horse.

I was going to come on here to ask the same question. My horse got taken too and it isn't in my stable anymore. I am a bit confused as to what I should be doing here. Is there like a waiting period or do I have to hunt down the mf'er that took my horse? lol

Disabling Achievements and Trophies while using cheats is absolutely the right thing to do. I do not agree with disabling the save function though. You reversed this decision for the first Red Dead Redemption so please do the same for this one. I think this would make a great deal of people happy.

First and foremost, welcome to the forum @sakklote I have yet to see this problem in the game, that is very odd. First thing I would do is report this to Rockstar immediately. Knowing the game just came out, their will obviously be bugs on the first day launch patch. Report this issue to Rockstar so they can handle it in the next patch! Regards.

Yep CMcC….im on ps4 pro and after I installed the game, I then went online and it started downloading the day one patch after that I clicked on update history and it states that version 1.02 is installed, so your good to go....that's the latest update.

That is what I am thinking happened with the OP. A lot of things get downloaded in the background anymore with games.

That is weird. You sure it didn't patch it in the background? I know there is a place you can check which version you are on but I can't remember for the life of me where to find it on PS4... Or are you on Xbox?

Who cares? The only critic that matters to you should be you. Everyone else is just voicing their opinions and those usually aren't based off good reasoning. Played GTA last night and a guy in our group said he wasn't buying RDR2, cause it was nothing more then GTA in the old west. He started ranting about all the idiots who was going to get RDR2 and started putting them down. Then asked if I would be playing GTA tonight. I said nope, I prefer the old west. Conversation stopped. He realized all his rants was insulting the players he had been playing with.
