The game lets you put animals,pelts on other peoples horses and also bodies. I had a troll who was particularly annoying ... So I followed him to Valentine, I quietly stabbed someone and put the body on his horse while he was in the gunsmith. I then shot a few rounds in the air to get people to notice the area. He came out to find himself wanted for murder, tons of witnesses and a full on assault by the law.

Below is a updated map of all the Gang Hideouts in Red Dead Online. This guide was made by Reddit user (Rock1Jump) so I can not take credit for it. Also added are some ambush encounters. These have been done twice in different sessions to make sure they werent random. Although the makeshift camps could be since the site is empty (no wagons, tents, etc.) if there's no one there. There have some online guides saying the Story Mode hideouts respawn in 3 in-game days. Not sure about online though. Update: They are sort of random in that they don't always spawn, but the locations at which they can spawn are fixed. Multiple factors affect if they spawn or not; Sometimes the matchmaking move you to a different lobby silently (can be seen by player dots disappearing while new appear closer to you) and the camp can pop up right in front of you. Some camps have no permanent landmarks and they will be completely empty if the camp has not spawned. If those camps have tents but are empty, some other player 'recently' cleared the area. With hideouts like forts it's harder to tell whether its been cleared or not spawned in yet.

See there's the thing... It hasn't been released.. It's only in Beta. You can't compare it to GTAO, which has quite a few years under its belt, because it's only been a week since BETA release. It will evolve in time, and no doubt will be the game that it should be. I like hunting, OP... Spent a lot of time in SP doing it, so it's keeping me amused right now, but I can see it getting stale real fast. Playing with friends, doing races, side missions, etc.. Should keep you busy for a wee while, but the single player is awesome, and has so much to do, if you find yourself getting bored.

No disrespect to anyone but I run a YouTube channel that I do Gameplay Walkthrough's on, which means I play way to many games to be any where near level 100. With that being said, this is also one of the main reasons why Im taking my time, I have a funny feeling a group of people are going to find a glitch or exploit that eventually gets out characters reset. It never fails in a Rockstar Game.

No doubt that they did not reach that rank without "fooling" around, but on the other hand I am rank 37 now and I am playing around 3-4 hours per day, while skipping some days all together. I wonder what would be the normal rank someone would get if they had no jobs and played 12-14 hours a day.

If this block feature on PS4 works like folks are saying, I'm thinking about applying it to these early levelers. I doubt few made that rank legitimately if they are already that high at this point and quite frankly, I have no interest in being matched with them. At some point, at least some will begin to use their inflated rank and purse to their advantage over others in the session. Without private options, this is the only way I have some control over randoms in my world (albeit likely very little given the number of players out there).

I'd rather just take my time, have fun, and appreciate the stuff I unlock. More power to people that use exploits, but I'm wondering what their endgame is.. Is it just for bragging rights?

I've got to work at it as well with the exception of 1911s. Those guns simply feel natural to me. Now I'm not talking competition level here, fast draw, operator tactics, etc. ......just getting lead on target. I don't get out to the range as much as I'd like or perhaps I should.

It’s all opinion and what tool suits you best. I am not gifted with the innate ability some folks have for shooting, I actually have to work at it. To me using a 45/70 to defend a home is not an option it just costs to much to train with for my personal acceptable level of competency. If that makes me less of a person in someone’s opinion then so be it. I prefer to be better trained then lucky.... but again that’s just my opinion.

Soon as I started reading the title this is immediately what I thought. I love bird hunting and this is one of my favorite weapons to use in general. I don't want to see it be changed.

I was playing tonight and on my way to Blackwater from Strawberry I had a 2 star cougar spawn here just west of Blackwater, as soon as I crossed the river going South. I shot it in the head with one shot and skinned it, threw both skin and carcass on my horse and thought about going to Blackwater's butcher since it was closer. I decided to go back to Strawberry instead because Blackwater was swarming in pink dots. I sold the skin and carcass, I think the skin was $2 or $3 but the Good Cougar Carcass was $8.10 (cha-ching!) I went back toward Blackwater and as soon as I reached that exact same spot, POOF, another cougar spawned! This time it was only 1 star. It jumped me but I managed to throw it off and kill it. I skinned it and decided this might be a good spot to farm them. I made note of the current time, it was about 3:45AM, so the first time must have been around 11PM-12AM. I decided to go to Blackwater since it was quiet finally and I just got half way there from this spot and another player rode by me and killed me. When I respawned and called my horse, both the pelt and carcass were gone. I suspect he stole them. I'm posting this here for others to test this area because I won't get to play anymore this weekend

The petition took a long time to happen. If the petition would change someting or not, still it was much better than sitting and saying "this generation bla bla bla". I believe that the majority here are adults, and especially in this discussion, adults and from different countries. If the discussion is silly, or has no relevance to you, keep to yourself, otherwise it seems that you just came here to troll and say that you know more than other people.

That's not the holster. .....it's the animation. If anything, the whole idea of "dual-wielding" is unrealistic in itself, not the inclusion of a cross draw holster oriented for the players strong hand. Ever fire and reload an SAA or similar? I own a Blackhawk and I'll tell ya, I wouldn't want to reload that thing in a gunfight. I'd much rather draw a second. It's bad enough with a speed reloader in a modern 629 revolver under pressure. Other than that, I agree that there should be more options in gun belts, holsters and styles to even include shoulder rigs. ....and btw, the whole idea of being able to draw with your left hand from a right hand cross draw holster may not be ideal but is certainly not "unrealistic". I don't care for the dual-wielding action but I have no problem with idea of being able to draw with the opposite hand from this style of holster.

The Samon and Trout prices have been nerfed. You know longer get $42.25 per 10 fish at the butcher. You now only get $25.00 per 10 fish every time you sell those types of fish at the butcher. But there are bigger fish in the world that you can get $5.00 per if you know where to go fishing.
