Dude, **** this game Rockstar **** their servers. Single player story mode hands down one of the best things I've played in 10 years in over a decade, but the online and customer support there at Rockstar ****ing joke. Simply put ****ing joke. I went over 30 emails, yes 30 emails back and forth with Rockstar to try and "fix" the disconnection issue. the bottom line is Rockstar servers suck ass and they won't admit to any of their faults they try to blame it all on you and when they can't blame it on you they turned your ISP. Umm I'm sorry, but Mediacom is one of the biggest cable providers in the United States, And if every Mediacom customer is having this issue then that's over half of rock stars consumer base so that obviously is a ****ing lie but they won't admit it. But my idea here is, and hopefully you all are with me on this, it's sort of a storm area 51 but this case storm Rockstar type situation. I seen a video the other day where a guy actually got a refund for Madden 2019 because of the online being broken. I think the same should apply to Rockstar and their servers being broken. They charge you out the ass in microtransactions for gold and money but yet if you disconnect because of a rockstar server error than everything you've done in the last 15 minutes does not count but here's the strange yet convenient part for Rockstar, all the money you spend, all the provisions you consume, and all the ammo you consume all counts so when you reload that's all gone but the stats that you were striving for let's say you were going for three headshot kills in a showdown because it was a daily challenge you used up your provisions you used up your ammo but yet you get kicked from the game after you got your three headshots but the game kicks you before it ended. When you load up, all your sh*t's gone, but the stats remain unchanged. It was like you did all of that for absolutely nothing but in the end you are actually in the negative because everything that you bought or crafted is now gone but the money doesn't return to your bank account it's gone as well. That to me is broken in the game shouldn't have left beta. Speaking of beta, they were making microtransactions during beta how is that legal!? So I say we all email Rockstar or sign a petition for a refund or an upgrade to the ultimate edition give us something at since you're taking so much away you pieces of [REMOVED]!!1 point

I had the same problem in the beginning in November, constant disconnects , turned out it is really only your ISP PLEASE believe me, I changed to other carrier and to my amazement it worked , although I got disconnected sometimes but not so often as with the first ISP, BUT I searched the internet and found solution to get no disconnects at all , the only feasible nsolution is to check if certain ports are open , in my case MY ISP is blocking ports but they offer additional service, not for free, for gamers and this worked for me, since that I don't blame Rockstar anymore it's ISP fault only1 point

With you? ......sorry, no. I can understand that you are having disconnect issues but quite frankly, there's a whole lot of people that aren't. ....or they are part of a larger, temporary issue which eventually gets fixed as Liquor pointed out. .......but I'm not going to boycott a game or join a cause against it when it works for me and I enjoy it. Sorry you can't get your particular problem resolved but perhaps it's time you cut your losses and move on if you feel this frustrated and betrayed. I've had to do the same with a couple games over the decades. It's not worth stressing over.1 point

Sorry for your frustrations bud but all I'm with you on is that the story mode will never be matched. There is nothing forcing you to take part in microtransactions. Disconnects are part of every online game. Its not personal. Don't think you will get any refund do to these issues and I do share your anger at these problems. If I sent a ticket every time I was out money for camp issues , lost pelts , or being kicked during high paying stranger missions ide own rockstar ! Again sorry your having such trouble.1 point

When Lonestar asked me if i would like to be a moderator on this forum, I accepted because I felt RDR2.org was a good fan site with a good, friendly, helpful and welcoming community. Probably the best community in that respect than most any other forum I frequent. .....and a great staff to boot. I also liked how they work to promote and maintain that atmosphere. Personally, I enjoy it. This is the kind of community I like being a part of. ....so when you say how do I cope with it, I understand what you mean but I don't see it that way. It's not a bother to me and we welcome members participation on the forums. ....as long as folks follow the rules of course. Being semi-retired also means that I can pop on here throughout the day while I'm doing other things. btw, there are other active moderators around here and even Lonestar views these threads, approves new members/posts, catches spam, etc. Stuff that goes on behind the scenes so to speak. I guess I just tend post a lot so maybe some folks see more of me but I kinda did that before too. We all share in the moderation responsibilities though. As for the game, it will pick up eventually. ....and while I may be taking a break right now from RDO, I will pick it back up as I have done in the past.1 point

From my experience, slippery bastard opponents only have advantage on the first attack, that is, when I have to learn the hard way that I cannot lock on. Once I learn this, I am ready to adjust. My first tip is to get better at free aiming, common sense I know, but this leads into my second tip, which is the best advice I know of regarding this. PIB! Paint It Black! If you can free aim well enough to swipe the crosshair across their head it will paint their head, boom, headshot. If you are quick enough you can paint them quicker than they can free aim. Especially at distance, a slippery bastard does not stand a chance, I will paint him, or better yet, if he is more far out than that, hit him with the rolling block. If you have dynamite arrows unlocked, then you can hit just close enough and they will die a fiery death from the blast radius. Also, Keep in mind they will have to refill their deadeye. On your mini map, wait until they become a dot again, and not an eye, showing they are not in dead eye anymore. That is also an opening. Hope this helps!1 point

Any Posse Versus challenges. I'm a lone frontierswoman and I wish I had some friends who played and were into dailies and PVE. I'm gonna go update my Posse post I think... I also hate "Skin 2 Roosters" because you have to ride all over the map and server hop to catch a fresh spawn. Oh and I hate "Skin 2 Cougars" as well. If you're High Honour and need Maxim gun kills, replay "Kill Them...". Make quick work of the two gunners in front of the Fort gate and if there's still enemies outside, cut them down with the two Maxims. If your random partners kill everyone outside, simply run into the Fort with your lasso out and hogtie enemies and carry them out to place in front of the Maxim guns. Kill them while they're hogtied 😈 Super fun! Stealth Kills was a pain before I learned you can just go to Thieves Landing and kill Del Lobos with the bow or throwing knives. I usually kill the two standing with their backs to you by the corral when you come in from the North. Usually only the first one counts but if you ride back across the bridge and wait a few seconds for the aggro'd NPCs to cool off, they'll be reset when you come back. Try to keep a stack of Exotic bird meat (Pelicans) in your satchel because like the roosters, once that daily hits, there's hardly any pelicans around. It's so nice to hop online and have that meat ready. But - there is a challenge for plucking a Pelican that can't be avoided. Prairie Chickens are easy to spot because their silhouette is small and they're really "flappy". I can never find reliable Quail spawns but I don't recall those being dailies yet. I'd still like to know where those little shits spawn because they're worth $2 a piece in Perfect condition! Did anyone catch the daily of shooting a flying bird with a sniper rifle the other day? I'm a dumbass who hasn't bought a sniper rifle yet!1 point

Yeah I don’t bother with vultures either but prairie chickens conveniently usually fly over in 3s so I’ll do that one. Stealth killing NPCs I can’t usually be arsed doing. I won’t travel to the other side of the map to pick herbs. These days I tend to keep hold of various meats and herbs to do all the seasoned cooking challenges without having to go hunting.1 point

Yeah, the cougar did go after the hogtied NPC. I don't remember if he used predator bait or not. I have also personally witnessed cougars chasing after NPCs on horseback as they are passing through the area.1 point

PvP is so broken at the moment it's not even playable. We literally can't get in. We go in , ready up , timer hits 0 and we get kicked back to free roam. Very frustrating ! And yes the gun mechanic is extremely off ! 1 shot varmint rifle kille with nwo on ?? I can hit 4 bullitts on a target , they fish flop and one shot me with cattleman??? Not sure what I'm missing but it is BROKEN !!1 point
