Sunrise at Hennigan's Stead looking - or trying to - at New Austin not quite as pretty. (Edit: oh, it didn't capture that it's snowing rather hard, so it looks kinda weird, haha.)

Its a bit tricky but not so hard when you take your time. I personally failed only 2 of all my attempts to do it. When i arrive at the spot i hide and take my time to "learn" the patrol routes. I take out the patrols first alway using bow only. After that i mark the rest of the NPC's depending on their view points and execute the killing. In some locations (the barn) you dont have to kill all the guards - i just kill the 2 that cover the enterance to the barn and when the inside patrol cycles i poison the still and run away unspotted. As i said it's not that hard but you have to be patient to do it with stealth.

Yes...this solution works. The issue I am having is the legendary bounty pays out less meat if you skin them and for some reason I drop the pelt at first Everytime. PIA (pain in the a$$). If you kill everyone (all the enemies) and put the bounty on your horse.. live or dead you can roam around for hours hunting (seems to be no time limit). Been paying me a $100 a pop if they delivered alive 3* plus, and it's kinda a nice just to gallop around and listen to them babble. They escape I just bola and hogtie them again and the bounty Hunter reward is fine even without the meat/skins. Also if you run a 3* bounty and complete it, you sometimes also still get put on a private server and while my camp won't spawn I can still deliver everything to the butcher. Naturally this solution doesn't work on bounties with multiple targets that can escape and end the mission It's Christmas so I hope this helps some one and kinda of in a F R* mood (and credit to the posters who originally posted these solutions here and on Reddit) *** shouldn't have to be looking for solo lobbies to play a MMORPG and working through so many bugs, but it is what it is.*** They probably Nerf these options too, so get why you can.

Best way to get animals now since they are bugged hard is to Start a Legendary bounty hunter , and ignore the mission , go fill your wagon , skin all big birds cause they feather worth close to 1$ each / 3 per skin , squirrels and small birds with your bw , a wagon full of whitetail buck and yourset. when ur done hunting leave back to free roam or do the mission

The great famine is upon us. People are living off food handouts from R*. Newbies are in the hills feasting on Raven meat. The end is nigh!

Unfortunately I am part of this group with the magically disappearing mash. Although I don't usually get much of a response out of R* I did decided to submit a ticket about it. They actually reimbursed me $300. Can't guarantee everyone will get a reimbursement but they did it for me so, anyone who hasn't submitted a ticket it's worth a shot in my opinion. I believe the ticket was submitted on the 18th and within 24hrs I had my response and my money back into my account. Should also add that over the last few days since getting reimbursed, I have had no problems with The Moonshiner. I've done a few deliveries and yesterday, just as an experiment, I logged in and out of the game probably about five times and this morning all 20 bottles are ready to go.

This game that I loved beyond any other is UNPLAYABLE. I am a trader, love the trader role and play other roles off this one and right now until fixed with zero, and I mean zero animals is MISERABLE. I am right now turning this game off and going back to other games until I see changes from this forum. I just spent real $$ to obtain gold and play the moonshiner role and that is not enough without animal spawns. I am so disappointed with R* that this long time need fix only has gotten worse. I'm not a newbie at rank 151 and will be a long, long time until I see 152. SO DARN FRUSTRATED RIGHT NOW!

Starting at camp from the main menu never worked for me - i end up in endless loading screen or disconnect. Setting up camp is almost impossible for me since few days. Y-day was the worst - camp not starting, disconnects, moonshine shack not starting up delivery mission or empty without NPC's - nightmare. Did i mention no animals and dead world ? And that annoying snow...... And why they didnt add fast travel from Moonshine shack ? Bcoz they r idiots? I really dont know....

Yesterday was a disgrace... 3-5 endless loading scenes, had to reboot.. servers full = no animals either... I really dont care anymore about the snow.. just give me a game i can play, without this endless bug hell.. Its driving me mad, and taking away the fun for the game.. Unfortunatly!

Sad but true. I was having hard time to set the camp. All day disconnects. Cuoldnt start up moonshine delivery mission - problems , problems. I think ill take a break as well coz its very frustrating to play like this.

Well, I've about had it with this game. I am sick of playing in a waste land. I see more players than animals. I try to move to a new session and I get endless spinning wheels, rinse and repeat. Try a Legendary mission for a solo lobby, birds everywhere, no pelt animals. I have spent more hours hunting nothing and just getting frustrated and quitting than I have spent enjoying the game. By far. And this has been going on for at least two months. I tried just losing myself in the moonshine role, since I've completed the others, but it's such a boring, time sink. First do a mission to reduce the cost. Then wait 45-60 min for the moonshine to be made. You literally have to set a timer to go back to the shack just before the moonshine is ready to pick a flavor. If you do it too early the customers will change after you've already set the flavor. Or someone else will sell to the customer order you chose if theirs finishes first. And you're offered a half price sale. So best to wait until 15 minutes before finished and then pick a customer/flavor. Wouldn't be so bad if you could hunt for 30-45 minutes while you wait, but most of the time I just spend riding around in the same wasteland again, with nothing to hunt. So, essentially I am sitting around with my thumb up my keaster between moonshine steps the whole way. What fun. Add to that the constant bugs that were introduced since the moonshiner update and it's just not fun anymore. Seriously, every time I play there's some stupid bug. Weapons disappearing, weapons filling my horse inventory when I left it all in a locker, a bison standing in the field that you can shoot 50 times and he doesn't even move, wardrobe malfunctions, moonshine progress reset to zero, on and on and on... I want to just say "Hey, it was a bad night/session. Tomorrow will be better." But it's not better. Two plus months and every day it's the same frustrating crap. Why such a crappy attitude? Because tonight was no different. Just like last night and the night before. I've had it with this horsesh!t.

The wagon should keep your contents in there, even if it blows up, or runs off a cliff, or you log off and back on. So If your inventory dissapeared then it wasn't supposed to. I can bring 8 large animals back to camp at once using the wagon. 5 in the wagon. 1 on my horse, 1 on my stolen horse, and dragging one. You didn't waste your money.

Real exciting stuff R*. Shame the game is now even more broken than it was before. Spawn into camp but it’s not my camp and is the other side of the world than I should be. New moonshiner event pops up but prevents me from collecting my 3rd heirloom as I’m forced to fast travel to the shack. Event makes me ride all the way to Valentine and when I get there moonshine buyer cannot be freed from revenue agent’s horse so I have to wait for that event to timeout before I can do anything else. And then strong moonshine that was in production totally vanishes. Still no animals of course (3 daily challenges today around killing animals 😂). Complete waste of time, I’m done with the game until I hear it’s fixed. It just failed to even load into story mode.

I updated my Schofields to the Dual Navys.. And did the "lenght" on them... I simply cant stand them sticking out of the holsters.. so i went back to the Schofields.. haha

I know... Just bugging you a little... While still pointing out there can be a time and place to safely learn these little tricks if it’s up your alley for whatever reason... But I’ll say it again, don’t try this at home unless you want to shoot your own toe off... or be this guy...

Well, you cannot have your horse follow, but you can dismiss your horse, call the hunting wagon, put stuff into it, dismiss the wagon and call your horse again.... I’m pretty sure your stuff should be in there when you call it back from the stable... what you experienced I’m not so sure... probably because you changed servers and reloaded. Sounds like a camp glitch got you.

I wouldn’t expect an in-game rebate from R* any more than I’d expect a real-world rebate from Sony for dropping their console prices several years after release. As an early adopter of anything you have to accept that you’ll be paying over the odds, that’s just the way it is. The in-game money would mean nothing to me now anyway. I understand what you’re saying about rewards for higher-rank players but we’re not really of any interest to R* - they’ve had our money so they’re going to chase new money. They only care that overall player numbers remain at a good level or increase and, given how they’ve screwed themselves as far as players needing to make micro transactions, new/casual players are where they’re going to make their money and keep their numbers up. Anybody that is rank 150+ they can pretty much guarantee they can continually pique interest just with the odd new DLC.

Game is so broken right now I can’t tell if I hate the snow in RDO or just hate the whole game at the moment. Love the snow in GTAO - I even loaded that up yesterday in disgust at RDO for no other reason than to hoon around in overpowered RWD super cars with next to no grip while being chased by the rozzers. It’s a sad time for RDO at the moment, barely a week after a (potentially) decent and engaging DLC dropped.
