Yeah they likely will. It is a good way to get more DLC packages going. Just consider what they did with GTA and apply that to the Old West.

PSA: Red Dead Redemption 2 Open Beta Is Fake
watery buffalo replied to NewsBot's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
Yeah I think so. People are so desperate to play the game first that they fall for them all the time too, specially kids and teens. -
I am with fire on this. I would much rather have a larger map then two separate ones. They can also add in smaller ones for DLC like mentioned as well.

Nothing tops good ol' Mike! I never get sick of it and listen to it all year round, specially during Christmas time. Really gets the family mad. LOL

I'm in Texas but I am no where near where the storms hit. We have a bit of rain on and off but nothing bad. My dad took a bunch of stuff in to work to donate. I gave him some blankets, clothes, food, ect to bring too.

As we all know this game will be about gangs but not everyone plays as a group, some people like myself play more by myself than anything. With that being said, what are your thoughts on them having a solo server for us lone wolves? I do play with friends but a lot of times I am on when they aren't, we don;t have matching schedules. So for me, I think this would be a good thing to have just so people aren't singling out players who prefer to do their own thing.
-
Yeah as someone who tends to play alone more myself, I would have a problem with this. I mean if I can only work with people if I am in a gang or have perks because of it, that wouldn't be fair. Actually... I am going to make a thread for something.

Will Red Dead Become a Mainstay Franchise?
watery buffalo replied to NewsBot's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
Same for me. I have not really disliked one of there games and that says a lot. Each one had its own vibe that made it different and fun, most being even funny to play. -
Will Red Dead Become a Mainstay Franchise?
watery buffalo replied to NewsBot's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
They will have other games as well. Like it would be great if they could do one a year but the more they do, the less we will see certain games. I know these are games that take a long time to develop too so we will see what happens eventually. -
Has the delay put you off from the game at all?
watery buffalo replied to tadp0le's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
Yes and no. I know it will come out eventually but at the same time, I hate waiting. The lack of news has put me off more than the delay. I was expecting something else by now. That is what is really bugging me at this point. -
NICE! I want to see if there are more of these out there. It was a nice surprise when I found the one I posted in the OP. I want to make some of my own when we get a trailer or two (new ones) from RDR2!

Red Dead Redemption 2 General Chat
watery buffalo replied to Lonestar's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
I know it is a dumb question but has anyone heard anything yet? Like anything at all? I feel like it has been ages since we found out things about the game. Ugg... -
It is almost amazing how well the song fits the trailer. Not sure if anyone seen this here but I liked it. I found this on reddit. I am not sure if the dude was shamelessly advertising it for views or whatever but I am glad I clicked on it.

These kinds of games never work the way you intend them too... So since we have two people who guessed and the OP hasn't been on, I am just going to assume we carry on lol So here are mine: 1.) I don't know how to ski 2.) I don't know how to ride a bike 3.) I don't know who my real father is

I will be going to my cousins. We been doing this tradition since we were both 16 of blowing off fireworks and having a bonfire every year. We usually get a few pizzas and just hang out for the night.

Hi everyone... I suck at these things
watery buffalo replied to watery buffalo's topic in Introduce Yourself
Thanks guys for the welcomes. Everyone seems really easy going on here. nice to see that on a gaming forum. So many I have seen people are biting each other's heads off! -
I can understand not wanting to use it and surely if it is an option, you would only require it for certain missions I am sure so it wouldn't be required. I honestly can't see them doing that. Riding one single horse is obviously better for getting around wild areas but in-town, a waggon can be cool.

Maybe but I still think there could be some use for them in the actual story mode/campaign as well. I think I only seen that movie once and oddly enough the thing I remember the most is that giant spider. It scared the crap out of me LOL
-
I haven't decided on anything yet. I am limited at the moment. I need to do a massive update on my PC so it can actually handle the games I want to play. I know it wont handle DOOM for crap but I may snag it since it is on sale for half off just so I have it.

Who wants this game? *raises hand* I want this game! WOW! It looks amazing! I can't wait to see how the story pans out. This is an example of why I stuck it out with Playstation!

In the first one, there were only certain missions that allowed you to be on a wagon. Also, it you were doing the fast travel thing as well. What about having it so we have the option to always use one if we wanted? I know that this may be a bit annoying for some but I was thinking about it and if we are playing as someone in a gang, it would make more sense. Also, if they allow prostitutes in this one, you can go in the back with her... lol

Will the end result in a death?
watery buffalo replied to bluntTR4P's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
I wouldn't like this. I didn't like it in GTA as I enjoyed all three characters. I feel like if they do something similar in RDR2 it would also not make much sense, as mentioned, this is likely going to be a prequel. I am not a fan of killing off any of the main characters in any game. I hate it in movies and shows too.
