Man I wish it was that easy for me. I used that same spot with bait before. The first time, I got a perfect panther but panicked and shot it twice (ruining the pelt), then I had two imperfect cats that I shot and dumped in the sea. Then another perfect one walk right past me and for some reason, I slipped on the weapon wheel and knifed it instead of shooting it cleanly. After that, I don’t see another one so started looking in vain for blackberries to make the potent Bait. I’m on my second play of the game now, so I’ll try again.

On my previous play through, I found a few coins at the bottom of a well. On this play through, I found a coin in a train carriage. Since the vast majority of the cash we find is in bill form (looting dollars and cents doesn’t really count here), is there any significance to the coins? I know in some other games, picking up random coins is a thing.

I’m not sure. It’s possible that it’s a special pack for the game outlet store where your wife bought it. Youre not really missing out on much by not having any of the special editions, so just enjoy it!

In my previous play through, I had huge problems in finding blackberries for predator bait and the herbalist challenges. In my second play, I found a couple of bushes real close to camp. I made the mistake of eating them, thinking that would start the challenge (like a fool, I forgot that the first rank is six yarrow) So a couple of game days later, I went back to find more, only to find that I couldn’t find any. When you pick plants, are they gone for good? Or do I need to wait longer for them to regrow?

Yes, it depends where you fish from. For the sturgeon, you need to fish from the railway tracks, not from the shore. For the small mouth bass, it’s the promontory on the south bank, near where a fishing pole is resting against a rock. Its a matter of either walking around the area and casting in different place, or looking up the exact location on the internet. Usually, if I’m in the right spot, I’ll hook into the legend on the first cast.

I bought the strategy guide from with the companion app and found it to be pretty useful. The problem is that it’s really cumbersome to use on my phone- I’d really like to use this full size on my laptop. Is there any way of doing this without buying an iPad?

Just refreshing myself with the 100% completion checklist and found that I have to complete all of the main missions. I’m in chapter 6, chasing challenges and pelts before the epilogue and found that I missed a mission in chapter three. Since I missed it, I can’t of course replay it. So, back to the start I must go. Well, at least I’ll get Buell back, at least until he dies again. A great horse, but fragile.

No, I made sure I was bounty free at that stage. Im going for my weapons 2 challenge next and come back to the train afterwards. Some parts of these challenges are frustrating, not because of the tasks, but them sometimes not cooperating the way you want them.

I think this has happened in a recent patch. Before, I used to be able to buy a train ticket, go through the cut screams stay on the train at the station where I moved off again - allowing me to rob people while the train was moving. Rhis doesn’t seem to happen now - the train just doesn’t move after arriving. So do I now have to find a moving train before I can rob it, or am I doing something wrong?

I’ve had this frame rate drop happen to me after the last patch too, mainly when on horseback. Ill check again after this more recent patch and doing a hard reset on the console (whenever my partner allows me to use the console next)
