Wasn't 'sitting there fishing all day' Had fished for about 5 minutes when for no reason was attacked. They made no money from killing me or my horse. I could understand it if they rob you of your fish and then sell it but to allow people to just kill someone for fun isn't my idea of a good game. Especially when Rockstar bang on about the free roam hunting and fishing part of the game.

Whatever happens I hope they solve it soon, so everyone can play it in the way they want. It could be such a great online game if Rockstar get it right.

I agree. There are times when a gunfight is fun, even though I lose most of them, and there are times when I just want to fish or hunt in peace, and two servers would satisfy this. I can't see why this can't be done easily. Then you can chose what one you feel like entering.

On the PS4 whatever outfit i had on when I last played is always the one I restart with, Maybe a Xbox bug.

What has smart got to do with it? How does checking your map help? I'm standing there fishing and someone rides up, kills my horse then me. What are we supposed to do, stop fishing or hunting every time we see a player on the map near us?

Like a dumb-ass when i was the 'target' I raced to my camp where I had the white flag up and stood there waving at the assassinator who promptly shot me.. Didn't know you can still get killed in your own camp in this mode 😲

I've noticed a few players who are rounding on the griefers online and using their mics to summon up more people to catch them. Won't stop the idiots but it's fun watching them getting revenge on them. Trying to bungee jump one of them off a high bridge was fun . Most of them when caught sound like they quite young and I guess unless Rockstar put a stop to it (won't hold my breath over that) these kids are just going to troll and troll.

Played it for the first time since xmas yesterday evening. Had been riding around hunting, was just entering my own camp when someone put a assassination notice on me for no reason and even though I was in my own camp with the white flag up , i was gunned down!!! (not hard to do, as I run round in circles trying to find the right gun to shoot back with usually and by the time I find one i'm dead) Having said that, they did pm me and say sorry, it wasn't meant for me. Nice welcome back to the online game lol

To get yourself and your horse shot just while fishing doesn't seem like fun to me. It can't be that hard to use one server for the hard core griefers and one for those who just want to have some fun, hunt, fish and fight against some AI cowboys with some friends. Like others, I play these games for fun and to relax and RDR2 online doesn't allow this. They sold the game on the free roam aspect, the hunting, fishing etc and must have known that a lot of players were going online just to cause grief and spoil others fun. Now all they've offered as an upgrade is a poor version of PUBG. (which I also suck at )

Not a great deal for me either, shame, Still doesn't really help the players (like me) who are not very good at the game. Not really sure what would help me online. Just the ability to hunt, fish and roam without some jerk killing me or my horse for no reason. oh well back to my other games for now.

Hardly played since xmas. They need to do something soon, more people seem to be streaming and playing GTA than RDR2

I havn't played online for a while. It might have changed now. Didn't hear many English voices when I did last play.

it's okay usually, you get the odd idiot with their mic turned up full but apart from some guy singing an Ed Sheeran song in swahili it's not too bad.

I'm on euro servers I assume by the accents I hear. is there a way to change servers on PS4 on Red Dead?

it's sad that they pay all that money for a PS4 then again for the game, only to spend their time killing horses for fun. Think I'll stay away still from online until Rockstar do something about it.

One guy started abusing me on his mic, swearing and stuff and saying "girls shouldn't be playing these type of games" and he was so busy doing it he fell off a cliff and died

Seems a shame when you are just riding along and someone for no reason other than they can, can just kill you. The same player followed me for ages killing me almost every time I re spawned. It's not like they get all your weapons or money, they just do it for fun and I guess unless Rockstar change this, they will continue picking on the noobs ( and not very good players) like myself.
