  1. Agreed.
  2. As others said, the automobile was quite rare in the early stages of it's history. I doubt most in the nation would ever lay eyes on one during that time. Beyond that, they were also very crude, not particularly fast, practical or necessarily dependable. If they were going to be historically accurate, I could see no advantage for players using them in the game if they were to include them. Horses and railways were still the go-to means of transport.
  3. The difference in this case I would say is that considering this is a Rockstar game, I am more confident that it will deliver. ....as opposed to a game from (for example) Ubisoft where although I may like the title, they always seem to disappoint me at some level.
  4. I had been playing for months with friends (co-op) on GRW and we have a good relationship that is carrying over to other titles. In fact, I convinced them both to pick up GTAV so we can play closed sessions together. One friend never played the title and the other played it on PS3 but never on PS4. I stopped playing PvP for the most part many years ago simply out of frustration in dealing with most randoms. ....so I have stuck with solo and co-op play. I've already started putting the bug in their ear about RDR2 so I'm hoping that if the experience in GTAV keep them entertained, their excitement for RDR2 will grow. GTAV has the option to play online with just friends and NPCs and I can't see any reason RDR2 won;t also include that as well. Not everyone likes the PvP experience in the open mode due to "griefers", etc. (including myself).
  5. The only time I will play online will be with one or two good friends (more if they are online at the same time). It would also be likely to be in a private session (if available) but that will depend on how the multiplayer works out for RDR2. If it's anything like GTAV, I won't want to mix it up with randoms. ....a good portion of which are simply out to grief others IME.
  6. If I had to guess, it would be just as good or better than GTAV (as some mentioned). My hope though would be that RDR2 (while still being as good or better) will still have enough of it's own flavor / uniqueness and not necessarily a wild west clone version of GTAV. .....something that can stand on it's own and be called a great game based on it's own merits. At the same time, I don't want them to ruin the magic that made GTAV so successful. Of course I think they would be crazy not to sprinkle some of that on RDR2.
  7. I'm looking forward to play the game offline solo and also online with one or two of my good friends. I'd have to hear more details / confirmations regarding the game's content to make any specific remarks about what in particular I would be most excited about though.
