UPDATE: Ok, yesterday I decided I better put these horses through their paces and see what is up. Turns out that yes the Trotter has a higher top speed, and far less stamina drain than the Kladruber. I still love the Kladruber better, here's why. The Klad at level 4 is a close second in drain rate even with an inferior saddle, if you use a Noco. saddle on a Trotter the stamina drain is unreal, super slow, But the Klad is a very close 2nd even with a lesser saddle, it doeesnt have the same top speed, yet it goes real fast, and at level 4 bonding, the Klad is much better with wolves, bears, snakes and gators, that is the main difference. The klad is brave the Trotter is scared of its own shadow and I just got tired of getting thrown on my butt everytime a wolf shows up. So, technically yes the Trotter is a little faster and uses less stamina, but the Klad has all you need and then some, plus it is not scared of every little thing, it looks better if you ask me, stands a a little taller and over all I just like it better. I stand by my statement, this is my new favorite horse, and the number one reason I love it next to its temperament is everyone else is running around on Trotters and I just hate seeing 6 trotters out of 7 riders in a group. If you can afford the $950.00 I highly recommend you try one, yes the Trotter is tech better in a couple areas, but I assure you that you wont even notice, it isnt like the Klad is draining stamina at a rate that makes you change your play style, it is very close to the Trotter. It may not before for everyone, and thats a good thing, give one a try.

What I learned about the Kladruber is that they are the only horse in game with higher acceleration than speed, once they hit bonding level 4 they get to 10 health and stamina and they max at 7 speed, 8 acceleration. So, the Trotter with a Nocodo..saddle and stirrups is still best for stamina drain and top speed and acceleration, nothing beats those that I can see. BUT, it is still very good, the drain isnt as good as the Trotter but it is very manageable and for me I love the coat, the color and size of the horse just works for me. I wanted to make that clear in case anyone considered buying one, they are not superior to the Trotter in stats but they are very quick and brave when you reach bonding level 4.

So, I am looking at them now, the Trotter definitely has better stats on speed and acceleration, quite a few more actually, I dont know, when I ride the Kladruber the stamina drains real slow and it feels like im going as fast as I ever did on my Trotter but meh, maybe not, maybe it just seems like it because I like this horse so much, lol. ITs definitely not the best horse in stats but I really like riding it and I am using it for everything at the moment.

WoW, thats a lot ive some some of those. I did see that dog a few times, and followed it, twice to a dead body, but nothing happened, I picked up the body, couldnt loot it, then put it down, and then just left.

I think it does, I didnt do specific tests and I did ride the Croillo a little earlier and that one I think has better speed and acceleration if I remember, but I just enjoy riding the Kladruber. The size, the color the speed, etc.. I was also using a saddle that isnt great compared to others like the nocodo... and I found it great to use for long trips across the map, I am going to mess around with it later a little to see if there are any advantages or not. I just love the look and I find it great to use so far for all kinds of things, it may not be the best horse, or fastest, but I think it has enough going for it that I dont feel like I should grab a "better" horse at any point, it is a pleasure to ride it. I like it better than my Trotters, I love my trotters but they are so temperamental sometimes I have to stable them and take a break. My Dark Turk is great honestly and good looking, but traditional, I really like the color of this Kladruber it is unusual.

UPDATE: I finally tried each of the new horses and have updated my favorite horse, see the last post or later post from me in this thread below. I am LOVING this Kladruber, earlier I bought the white and black one because I love the look, they look great and depending on what you wear it looks even better, BUT I knew these were just for cosmetics as the stats are very low, similar to a Shire, so as soon as I got to level 20 I bought the dark one with the best stats in that class, there is a silver one and a blueish, blackish one, it reminds me of the horse I got in Story mode for buying the special edition, except it is blue. This horse is amazing!! The stamina I suppose drains similar to a Fox Trotter I guess, very slowly, and of course it will also depend on what saddle you use, I am not even using the best saddle combo to be honest and it is fine, never have to pump the left stick while riding, can run across the map easily and very quickly, has a good temperament over all. In the light the colors just pop. I have a lot of horses? how many can you have? I have all but one, I left one slot open. I have both Trotters, a Turk, a Shire, 3 Kladrubers, and The bay frame Overo Croillo, it has even better stats than the Kladruber it just is a little smaller and has a cow like coat. ? That one is amazing as well, but it is a little too small for my taste, I like a larger horse, I will use it in races though as it is super quick and smaller than the trotters. I was going to buy both of the best Kladrubers as I love the black and white combo, I keep one of each because sometimes I wear a Lone ranger type outfit, all white with a big azz hat and my white horse' name is Silver, I was hoping for mask in the update but we got an eye patch and some cool glasses, the goggles actually work as a mask if you get the right ones. then I keep a black one for a similar theme, so I have a good guy and bad guy, one all white and one all black Anyway for now I am not going to bother with the silver one, I have 3 as it is, but this one "Sheldon" is my new main go to horse for just about everything, he does spook with wolves after a while and I suppose with gators and snakes too, so they arent perfect, but they look so amazing and have such great stats and run so fast and smooth Ill put up with it for a while. Check out Sheldon below. These pics blow up pretty large and you can really see the "Blue" For looks I also love that middle sta one that looks like Buell, but meh, I cant have every horse. Isnt the radar optional? I thought you can shut it off or do I have that wrong? Maybe Im misunderstanding you. I am pretty sure you can disable it still but I havent tried it, I love that damn thing!! lol.

This morning I hit level 20 for the collector and trader, Now I am going to do the bounty hunter. I started them all at the same time, but held off on the bounty hunter until I got my trader shop making money and have collected a LOT of stuff for the collector. Most of the things I wanted including horses were with those other two roles, so I figured Ill save the bounty hunter for last then just binge play it. I did two bounties I think and I am at level 1 for bounty hunter right now. I am excited to rip through some of the bounties finally though. I love all the new dynamic stuff going on with run away wagons, people being taken like prisoners by other npcs, and all the crazy stuff I have seen so far. I cant wait to get the 3 other ability cards that are out for ps4 now, I really want that dual wielding one. I made a new character too, still messing around with outfits and whatnot though. Below are a few pics, with and without a crazy mustache. I made a few "cowboy" outifts too, but this is the one I am running with right now, in New Austin it feels right. Also, the lantern you can get for the horse, I never thought I would want that or use it, turns out I love that thing, especially when you get your horse to pick herbs for you, plus it looks great. I didnt get any pics with the death mask on the horse but it looks amazing!!

So, just outside of Armadillo I stumbled upon this tent that was lit up. I stopped and noticed the green mask from the general store and the pawn shop and of course from RDR 1. I never see anyone there, there is no icon for it and it hasnt been part of any missions yet that I have seen, so I dont know if it is just an easter egg or if it is a hint that it is coming. I made a quick video, you will have to pause the video to actually get a good look, I didnt realize how fast and shaky I was with the camera. Check it out, what do you think this is or means? At the beginning I stopped and took a look at the mask then I panned around to get everything else in there to see what the details were. I thought maybe this would be where you go in the game to start some Undead nightmare play, maybe not, but I didnt know what else to make of it.

I actually did look up the volcanic first, it was Amazing!! I didnt even know it was a real "type" of gun. I carry and have for many years, I think I got my permit back in 95", I used to have quite a collection but over the years I have slimmed it down to a couple revolvers, I was never a fan of semi autos for concealed carry. Anyway, it was really cool to see these guns in action.

Its funny you mention the reload speed, I just watched a guy load a real Lamat, LOL you wont believe what is involved, you certainly arent doing anywhere near as fast as in the game, before the update never mind after. It involves a ball, not a bullet, and you actually have to "press" like with a real press the ball into the hole, which is designed to shave off a part of the ball. You also added powder with a little funnel, in there first, then a moistened pad, then the ball which you pressed in with a press. They do this for an air tight seal, to avoid chainfires, which were very common back in the day. Grease didnt prevent it or the little pad they put in that is moistened, both have a purpose but neither will prevent a chain fire from happening, so thinking about that, you literally need to sit at a bench to reload the damn thing, not very practical for day to day use like a sheriff or something, more like a one and done deal, you fire your nine and grab another gun til you can get to a press, lol.

I see, I had to assume but I wasnt sure. Are you guessing or did you read that somewhere in the update notes? I really hope so it sounds amazing. Since the servers arent cross platform there is no disadvantage to not having it and the others, but I do want to try them. Thanks for replying.

I dont have Gunslingers choice in my menu anywhere, I have looked thoroughly. Is this a Ps4 exclusive or something? Do you have Gunslingers choice in the abilities menu under Combat abilities? Are you on Xbox and have this card? I need to know what is going on./ I saw this card in a video and thought, hmm I dont remember seeing that one, but it sounds great, and sure enough, I do not have it. Thanks for any info Lump

Once you open your daily challenges, on xbox use your right bumper, not sure on ps4 and this will switch to another screen, it used to be the daily challenge summary, but now they added a screen with the role daily challenges, I found one for each role, so 10 in all. Hope that helps.

So, I had a good set up, defensive in nature to make me very hard to kill. I had slow and steady, peak condition, and hmm I cant remember off the top of my head what else, but each was based on making it hard to kill me. Tuesday I grabbed these. Iron lung, friends for life and horseman. I know there was a horseman one already but I never used it, then I Saw another that made you harder to kill if you were on your horse and figured ill try that and add horseman to see how that works for a while. Not sure yet if I will keep these active, but I did like the idea of new cards to try. I wish they added a feature to set up a defensive and offensive, or free roam vs pvp set up, so if you wanted too you could just quick change from one set to another, maybe in another update. Has anyone else tried the new cards yet? My new cards are tier II as of this morning.

Yep, if you could get close enough, like I said dynamite was a good deterrent too.

Jst to update this, back on June 13th when I had posted this, I was at day 31, I forgot to log on the following day and reset my progress!! I was so mad at myself. But then I got back on it, today I am on day 88 or 89 and yeah you only ever got that one map, BUt the multiplier remained so for the past 60 days or so I have gotten 1 gold bar for every daily challenge that I did. I played 31 days, missed a day and then went 88 days in a row again, I have played 118 days out of 119 just to get the daily challenge gold, and I am glad I did, the 255 gold bars I think it was that I had when the update dropped Tuesday came in very handy, I am now down to 155 gold, and $3500 cash, down from $10,550, so all those consecutive days of doing my daily challenges really paid off. Most days I just came in, did a few then bounced, some days it took less than 10 minutes.

LOL, well whats the point then? I guess being slippery meant hard to hit, and before it was nearly impossible to hit a moving target with slippery on, so I think making it hard but doable is a good change, especially if the slippery guy can also now somewhat lock on. Again, I never use it, it was only useful for a few things, running those games like capture the flag type games or avoiding being trolled in some cases and of course others used it for trolling people. I liked it sometimes to avoid new players that were trying to grief me from being able too, there is a guy Mossy SParks I think who made a serious of videos about griefing griefers and that was his whole method, go into slippery, and run straight at them, then at the last second taking it off and shooting them. there is another guy who uses it to avoid being locked on and he plays essentially free aim and 99% of the time hip fires, he does really well, people accuse him of cheating and stuff but he just got used to shooting while in slippery and people hate that, lol. Anyway I am not sure how I feel about it, like I Said I dont use it, I never really got trolled from people trying to use it and when I did I used dyna arrows so for me, it isnt an issue. usually with Rockstar, after some backlash things get tweaked so we will see what happens. heck, Im still pissed they changed never without one, lol I paid 950$ for that card and 25k xp so once they made it so it doesnt even work, I just gave up and stopped playing pvp.

So, a few day later I was down to 155 gold bars and $3500 and now at level 179 then yesterday and this morning I made some gold back, I think I am now up to 185 gold bars and still around $3500 cash, so Im out about 90 gold bars and $6500 but my trader company is thriving and the membership rewards are pouring in, I think I am level 30? I forget I am flying through the membership club ranks though. My trade ranks are low, I am at level 4 on Collector, level 4 on trader and level 1 on bounty hunter. I havent gotten into the bounties too much yet, I am trying to make money with and establish the others first, then I will focus on bounties.

Man, Im sorry to hear that you are having issues with disconnects and stuff that really blows man. Hopefully they will patch it or find a cause for you. I think you might be right about the xbox, I just never have issues or hear about others very often that do. when I play the servers typically have 23 to I dunno 32? players, they are often nearly full it seems. Sometimes if I spawn in to one area, fast travel to another, then do it again to a third area, etc.. sometimes, I check the list and I am in the server with 4 or 5 other players, but when I first come in, it is alwasy 23 or more. I think there are fewer xbox players but there are still millions. Also I noticed they added free aim pvp servers, hopefully they will add solo servers or invite only servers or free aim free roam servers too and that will break it up a little, I am thinking maybe they need to get the regular player base numbers up first otherwise with so many options you might find near empty servers and the way they designed the game I think they envisioned full servers with everyone working on stuff, some peole trying to prevent them from working on stuff and everything in beetween. I dont miss the trolls or players who do play to stop missions, I mean it is part of the game and all I just dont miss that part much, lol.

I see, ok, well they didnt reset the counter, I am still on day 88 or 89 and counting, I wonder if I can build it back up or is that over now, we are just going to get the same payout for gold no matter how many consecutive days? Thanks for the info
