Well, I also get him saying, "Ya know, you really did a bang up job on that last thing" or other compliments too but after a resupply where I have to hunt an animal and trade it, he always says the same stuff implying I didnt get all of the available materials back to camp some how, and it is usually a wagon half full of stuff that I am picking up at the trader I bring an animal too.

Not quite sure what you mean, but it doesnt matter, the point is every single time I have to do a material run for him it is either do a hunt and trade it, find a wagon accident and kill the wolves or go steal the supplies. when I steal them or kill the wolves he is happy and says "good job" or "Thats what I like to see" etc.. but when I do the hunt a bird or pronghorn and trade it for the goods, he always says the same thing, "well, at least you brought back some of them" or "Some are better than nothing I guess" etc.. So I just want to know why that is, I hunt a 3 star animal and deliver it in time to get the wagon load and get it back to my camp, sometimes I dont worry about the timer other times I let it run down to 30 seconds, and either way it doesnt matter, always the same.

Yeah because this mission only starts when we are halted because he is out of materials, so it doesnt fill the materials meter either way and he is never happy about what I brought.

So, when doing a resupply mission for Cripps, he asks me to go hunt an animal for another trader who will trade for supplies, but everytime I do it, I bring back a wagon of supplies Cripps ALWAYS say's "At least you brought some of it back" implying I didnt get the whole load or something. He says somethng to this effect everytime. What can I do different to have him say ok, good job, or good you got all of it? I have tried making sure the animal I hunt and deliver is 3 star and everything in between, I just dont get why he is disappointed and says I could have gotten more of the supplies somehow. Any thoughts?

DOH! never thought of that, thanks. Hmm, I looked three times, I do not see them in the catalog. Well, they are handy in a pinch, say you are fighting the other npc's and your target either get's in the way or starts to run away, you can stop them for a few minutes with the Bola's and then keep killing if need be, plus you can avoid accidentally killing them by identifying them, throwing the bola and then do your work, then hog tie them after you clear the enemies, and sometimes it is a daily challenge so you want to try and use them, although it bugged out on me yesterday and didn't count my bola throws.

I see, thats not a bad idea. I have been getting a wide range of payouts, yesterday I got .6 in one but 1.4 and 1.2 in others, .9 in a few etc.. but I suppose waiting for a bonus week or promotion is a god idea, maybe just cash out 5 at a time to make room so you dont lose out on any? I keep finding them on tree's and treasure hunters selling them for $5. Others above said they believe 30 is the limit, I'd ask R* personally , but in the meantime maybe use 1 map so you can see if when you encounter another you can collect it or not, that's what I would do anyway.

It sounds like we are doing very similar things, the daily challenges alone take a while for me to get through and then everything else going on... I rotate my focus from collecting to bounty hunting every other day and keep Cripps going strong through it all. I think this will keep the game flowing nicely even after maxing out the roles. Im at 11 on Bounty and 20 on the other two but I can see many days of daily challenges to build up money and gold for whatever comes next. I like your thinking!! NICE!! I play 100% solo lately, I just prefer it that way, so I do lose out on some things as a result, my numbers were all solo ventures, I would say the first $2300.00 I made yesterday took 2.5 hours or so, not too far off of what you guys did as a group. Either way it is nice to make money in RDR2with Halloween coming and then the holiday season, the 1 year anniversary, etc.. I see many updates in our future so I think these will be remembered as the golden days when we can make a ton of money and be prepared for each subsequent update to the game. I know I had saved up $10000.00 or more and over 300 gold bars in preparation for this update and it took me a LONG time to do that, this time I can see doing that in a week easily.

So, after a couple weeks of setting everything up, today I started the session with 3.64 gold bars and $242.50 when I logged off I had $4669.50 and 17.50 gold bars. No glitches or weird stuff, just playing the game. I sold every single group of collectibles then sold 3 or 4 a second time, that alone netted me $3000.00 then with everything else I did I made the rest. I found that if you are using the maps at first for collecting and also riding around with your metal detector out and grabbing whatever you come across eventually you get to a point where you have several of many of the items, as many as 9 of a few. So I went through what I had in my satchel and saw I needed 1 of these 2 of that 3 of those, etc.. so I went around and spent a little time just locating the missing items and put it all together and as soon as I sold everything I looked again, it was the same thing for many of the categories, so I grabbed the 1 or 2 items I needed for a few of them again. I do as many of my daily challenges as I can without playing any pvp, then look at my collectibles plus I do whatever Cripps needs, like I always hunt no matter what else I am doing and bring everything back to him, then just before I log off I go to a butcher and sell all the meats he doesnt use and I dont need for crafting, so even logging off I made $60.00, I found 2 or 3 maps today and had a few so I went and grabbed all but one of those too. I think just by playing and doing daily challenges I can easily make $2000.00 tomorrow too, and if I keep this up I dont see why I cant make a minimum of $1000.00 a day and 3 to 15 gold bars, the game suddenly got very lucrative. I was going to make a tips post but figured nobody wants that and everyone has their own way of playing. There are many bugs still but over all it is really paying of to have invested in the 3 roles and club membership.

I noticed I am down to 1 and it says 1/3 or 1 of 3 but I cant find them in the catalog or store or gunsmith, maybe I missed them? I was thinking maybe madam Nazar but I dont remember seeing them in her menu either. Where do you buy replacement Bola's?

I wonder if this is a ps4 thing mostly or regional issue maybe? Ive never had disco problems I mean sure it has happened, maybe 1 in 10 sessions very rarely really. Im on xbox but I wonder if it has anything to do with xbox live or Sony's version or maybe the Playstation servers vs the xbox servers? None of my friends who play seem to have any above average disconnect issues either so it got me thinking, maybe it is on your end? I know lots of people have had problems that Ive read about but I dont know anyone personally and my experience has been great. It sucks and I cant imagine how frustrating it must be for you.

I think the only difference from the $950.00 version are the health, stamina, and speed/acceleration specs. But otherwise this is the best horse for temperament in the game, best around gun fights, snakes, bears, cougars, wolves, and gators. I can get the $550 one now, but I am going to wait. I love the Kladruber but I cant wait to try the Breton just for his behavior in those situations. I hit level 20 on both collector and trader very early on, the first 6 days after the update, but I just hit level 11 with the bounty hunter, so I am planning to have a couple days in a row this week where I focus on bounties to get there.

Hmm I dont know, maybe you hit the limit? Why do you not go get them? I had 7 or 8 before I go get them then I grab them all at the same time, I just make a day of it in game so to speak. I wonder if 30 is the max based on your experience, sounds like it might be.

Im not sure about the female being any better or not. The klad is your second best bet for temperament as far I can tell. The Breton will definitely be the best bet for cougars, wolves, gators, bears, snakes, or gun fights, BUT if you are like me and still have a way's to go before you can buy it, the Klad IMO is the way to go.

So, I saw it in a few video's there is a way to kind of shoulder bump another player knocking them down giving you a few seconds to get the upper hand. I cant find anything that explains how to do it though. Does anyone here know how to execute the move on an xbox?

Bond it to level 4 and then try again, mine is amazing!! it gets a little nervous but never ever bucks me. Also, keep in ind the Klad is the 2nd best temperament, the level 20 bounty horse bonded to level 4 has the best temperament of them all. If that is the most important thing to you then grab that one when you can, I like the balance of height, looks, speed, health and stamina and temperament, although I will get the bounty horse and use for more dangerous things to experience the best in gun fights, gator or bear hunting and snakes and wolves.

I was in defensive mode I think, I normally am, unless I forget to switch it after a mission where it automatically puts you in offensive so I cant say for 100% sure, but I think it should happen regardless.

I was experimenting with defensive and offensive load outs, currently I am running a pretty strong one, they call it a tank load out, meaning you are goign to be hard to kill. Slow and Steady, Iron Lung, Peak Condition, and The Unblinking eye. I had been running two horse cards, one makes you harder to kill while the other makes you more powerful when on the offensive, the problem is since the update the drain rate of dead eye seems faster to me, so I went back to the unblinking eye to prolong it by an extra 15 seconds. I had tested this prior to the update then again after. Pre update the difference was 5 seconds, now it is 15 seconds so it is well worth it f you plan to run Slow and Steady. You can mess with lots of various combinations but this one has done me good, I am very hard to kill when running dead eye, and still able to get one shot kills with either the Springfield or Bolt action. Try a few different load outs, never without one isnt worth it anymore, Slippery doesnt seem worth it anymore, Paint it black can be in pvp but in free roam you dont need it, unless you prefer it for hunting and gun fights, but really the auto aim does all the work anyway so I found it better to drop it and run slow and steady, but thats me. Regardless what you run I suggest you go tier 3 on all cards, the difference can be a lot in certain circumstances. For the record I do plan to try the gunslingers choice or whatever the dual wielding card that we on Xbox are still waiting for as part of an offensive load out, once it is available to us Ill update this with a few variations.

I found a guy sitting at my camp yesterday, he was shirtless and looking pretty ragged, he told me how he was hungry and asked me if I had any meat for him to eat, I had an option to give him some food or not, so I fed him, and then he ran off. I love how these various events keep popping up with variations to make the world feel so dynamic.

The level 20 horses in each role are great!! The trader level 20 is my favorite so far but I havent yet reached level 20 bounty hunter and so I havent gotten the level 20 Breton. The Breton at level 20 when bonded to level 4 is one of the best horses in the game for temperament and attitude, the Kladruber is a close second. As far as not bucking you because of a snake, gator wolf or bear that is. I cant wait to get a level 20 Breton and compare them. The Kladruber is the tallest of the new horses, it is the only one with 100 health and stamina and it is the only horse to have more acceleration than speed. The Breton is a little smaller, and has a better temperament I am told, if so that makes it a great horse for hunting and doing missions that require a gun fight. The Ciolli or whatever it is is the fastest of the bunch but also the smallest, i prefer a taller horse, both for seeing better while riding and just how it looks. Everyone has their own opinion of what they like in horses, each of thee has something good about it.

Yeah the guns are definitely getting dirty faster Ive been playing daily for months, I missed one day out of 126, I can tell you the guns need cleaning more often than ever before, and the field of view I feel is changed, it is less than it was. It might have been an attempt to lesson the strain on some servers because they draw less on screen with a lower field of view, but I cant confirm that only a guess, I just noticed that it is different is all.
