Today I had 3 incidents, it is funny some days I wont even see another person and other days well..... Sorry this came out so long, let's call it "War and Piss" a novel by an outlaw semi griefer. So, I spawn into just north of St Denis, not my ideal spawn in, but ok, here I am, I figured I can travel to Tumbleweed and do a few daily challenges, then come back, but I see 4 boar and I need the fat so, I shoot them, as I am skinning one of them, some kid comes by on his horse and tries to lasso me, well it didnt work, obviously and so I said to him, nope. Well that was it, lol he jumped off his horse and approached so I decided ok, I warned ya, and I shot him, making me the bad guy but oh well, I have boar here and a bush I need for daily challenges, etc..otherwise I would have taken off, anyway he spawned a ways off pressed charges and then took a shot at me, I then remembered I am in PIB mode, so I quickly swapped my cards to Slippery B, so he cant target me, and I equip a dyna arrow, lob one over to him, and he is gone, doesnt come back, encounter over. I grab my boars, and huckleberry and I move along. Down in Gaptooth Ridge 10 minutes later I am about to head out for a cougar or two, but a hideout pops up, I look on the map, no one around, I figured, ok, I ll clear it quick I get over there and start clearing and here he comes, some try hard, level 18, figured this level 141 needs help? SO I say into my mic, Dude, how you gonna crash another mans hideout, beat it, I dont need you, but ok, He doesnt listen, so I say ok if you want to help, do me one favor, dont kill the leader til we get him to surrender, no sooner did I say then he kills him, this irritates me, so I say something like, nice going dumbass. I dont remember exactly but I said something snarky, but hey he deserves it as far as I am concerned, if he were in front me I would have said much worse, but anyway, ok I start looting, this try hard runs up and tackles me, I struggle for a few minutes, we fight a little, I go for a gun and he gets the best of me, no problem, I spawn a little ways off, I still have my bow equipped, I ride over in Slippery, he is hiding, lol I said "I can see you hiding there dumbass, get a clue dude" then I lobbed a dyno arrow at him and poof, he goes flying, it was really funny, looking back I should have grabbed a video, but I didnt think of it. Now,. I provoked him yes, but cmon, dont be a douche. Ok, I see a red blip running toward me, I take a shot and kill him, then I see another and do the same, turns out the second wasnt him, lol it was some level 127 player who must have wondered into the area and I accidentally mistook him for the troll. So, he takes a shot at me, I kill him again, as he spawns in I explain look man, sorry I thought you were that other douche, he just crashed my hideout and then attacked me, so I was dealing with him, I didnt realize you had entered the scene, so, Im sorry about that but get over it. Well he got over it alright, he took to chasing the level 18 player who started all this, lol I just stood on the top of a hill on my horse with exploding rounds ready to go and watched as he chased that little fkr far away, it was quite satisfying. Anyway in that case I was the griefer, I didnt mean to be, but to the level 127 guy, he was just rolling along and I killed him, so to him, I was a griefer. I am glad he heard me and understood the issue and even took it further and decided to deal out his revenge to the guy who started the trouble in the first place. The point is, it is easy to shoot the wrong guy at times if you dont pay attention, I wasnt in fight mode so my attention wasnt on who is this, rather let me set up so I can deal with whoever it is. Anyway, in the end I re-spawned far far away to avoid further action and get back to daily challenges, Got my 2 cougars, and then a person in need and got off again. So, if you do get shot,look at the whole picture, maybe you were accidentally targeted and if so it isnt worth your aggravation and stress, mistakes do happen. The other day I was shot in Rhodes by a low level player, BUT I know he was in the midst of shooting at several other players, I just got in the mix by accident, I didnt get mad, or get even, I just rode off back to what I was doing, because I know it wasnt on purpose or directed at me. You have to pick your battles. Just alwasy have a defense set up ready to go, I keep a hunting profile equipped but in a pinch I can swap into fight mode in about 2 seconds, and I am an advocate for you shoot me I shoot you back x 10 and everyone you ride with too, so dont bother with me unless you really want to go. So far so good, As others said, yeah trolls suck and can be a nasty distraction, BUT they do add a level of realism to the game, I mean drunken idiots would ambush people at times, so, ok, when it happens, you can either run away, stand and fight or whatever opportunities you can think of based on the situation. But, dont get stressed, if it bothers you and you arent looking for that type of attention, then there are things you can do. Play in offline mode, block players that shoot you, just hit pause, online, free roam and then ok, hit another server, etc.. and then get back to it, it isnt worth getting upset over it. IT will never end and once you are better equipped it can be a nice change if pace to kill a few try hards who thought they would harass you. At level 72 I think the OP said he was, should be well enough equipped to handle about anything thrown at him, if he has been applying himself and maxing out his cards and buying pamphlets, remember most peopel attacking you have not done that and arent that well equipped.

Well, I have plenty of money and gold so.... Now, I would love to be wrong, and find out there is an even better saddle, that woudl be great!!! So for that reason alone, I will look into it. Ill go look it up, Ill load one up with all the best and let you know but I am already 100% confident the above list is accurate, those stats for special saddles include stirrups and stuff, you cant add them, but I will add stirrups to the other saddle and let you know exactly what the numbers are next time I log in. There is a reason one saddle is 900$ and one is 18 gold and the other is under $300. honestly I dont care, I am only trying to help people out with correct info, I too saw those videos and I thought I remembered them saying, if you arent that high of a level yet and cant get the higher end saddles, then this is a good alternative until you can, at least the three or four videos I saw on them said that regarding the Nocog..saddles. Otherwise I would have one, lol, trust me, I spend a lot of time online and in game and have the best of everything I can own, if there was a better saddle, I should have found it by now. Actually a month ago I was wrong in my saddle information and someone pointed it out which is what led me to look very carefully at them again, and that is why I am very confident now with this information. Ok, so Ill add to my other post above too but here it is. They are the same as earlier, I must have equipped the saddle with the stirrups before I did this last time. Nacogdoches Saddle Stamina reg rate +20% Stamina drain rate -35% stamina core drain rate -18% Health core drain rate -20% this is with the best stirrups you can get a horn all that stuff, I spent around 900 to equip this simply to show the stats as I wont use it dont need it., The best thing with the other saddles is the -50% stamina drain rate, my horse just goes and goes and goes. So, if you compare it to the others, although not a bad saddle, with stirrups, it still falls short and costs around the same, it is just that you can get this at a lower level. I think if you cant get a Beaver roping saddle, or a Rattlesnake or Panther saddle, then this is surely a good option.

Yes, after moving my camp, it moved to the side and then I recognized it, lol. I just never saw it in the middle of my camp before and I got excited thinking, oh boy maybe this is part of the leaked camp content that has been popping up. A you tuber made a video of a screen shot of another players camp that did have a work bench and tools, and it definitely looked odd, the skinning thing at my camp I think has been there all along, I just never pitched my camp in that spot before and so I never saw that configuration before and it just looked odd to me.

Meh, I looked at it like, new poster, very excited about the game getting started, we have all been there, it depends your age, experience with forums, etc,.. LOL you guys are funny, there is NEVER a shortage of gators, EVER, just turn around and ride away and go back, BOOM! gators everywhere and 3 stars too. Rockstar games has a reputation for that, just ride out of frame, and go back, the animals generally re spawn quickly, I go to shady belle for my gators, they are alwasy there, along with boars, birds coons, deer, fish, etc.. you name it plus indian tobacco, yarrow, thyme, and sage, there is even a panther near by. Anyway dont worry about posts, everyone knows how to get to an area and have it to yourself. If you do not know this, then here it is. Spawn into Tumbleweed, fast travel to Rhodes, now the swamps are yours alone, pretty much, just spawn in far from where you intend to play.

I have the fast travel post, largest tent and I think I upgraded the theme once like I said, but I dont remember that thing ever being in the middle of my camp, maybe it was elsewhere and this time they just spawned in the middle, I dont know.

Rockstar is starting to introduce character choices players can select to be like a bounty hunter, or a collector and surely those roles arent all going to be outlaws, there is room in this game for all types of people, outlaws, law abiding citizens, police and military too, business owners, ranchers, etc.. Banks are a good idea, or can be, especially when it comes to buying properties and building businesses, etc.. I think hangings, trials and prisons should be used and hot air balloons too. IF a griefer gets enough negative honor or hostility level rises from player killing his bounty would go up, anyone who wants to can hunt the griefer, and either kill him, or take him to the local sheriff, turn him in, then the game would calculate crimes committed and charges against him, a sentence would be handed down, anything from a fine to a hanging. Prisoners can bribe officials, get pardoned, appeal, pay stiff free's, or be broken out, and if hanged it is like any other death in game except they also pay a % of their over all $$ for a fine, all this would deter griefing, and make it so satisfying to go after them, making the hunters the hunted. How cool would it be to snipe a griefer from a hot air balloon while your posse waited for him up ahead on the ground, you shoot his horse out and they pick him up? Im loving this game

I cant remember seeing this before today, and when it showed up it stood out to me. Im talking about the thing in the middle right in front of me, looks like it holds animal skins or something. It made me think of a video I saw a week or two ago about a similar thing that showed up at another players camp, it was a work bench and tools and stuff and they thought that maybe it was leaked somehow and is maybe part of the upcoming career type character choices that Rockstar mentioned that would be coming this summer. Im just curious if anyone else has one of these or not, I really dont think it was in the middle of my camp before today. I didnt upgrade my camp, I might have changed the theme once for a daily challenge, but only to the very next one if I did at all, but I do have the largest tent.

Yeah I am on day 30 myself and I was wondering the same thing, the icon for the day 28 challenge hasnt changed colors it is still grey and it has a clock on it, so I wasnt sure what was up. The gold bonus is great and still working, but I wonder for how much longer. Yesterday I got two maps in like a 30 minute window from looting bodies at a campsite ambush.

Hopefully in time they will get it balanced. I have a strategy that really works great, I spawn into an area make a camp and right near there is a hideout and a campsite ambush location, then I fast travel from my camp to the opposite end of the map, there I have two missions givers near eachother and another hideout plus a stranger encounter that comes up too, so I go to the area, do a mission, then do the other mission, then usually the stranger will pop up, after that I will do another mission, then a hideout, then another mission, bu then I need ammo, I fast travel to my camp, when I get there a campsite ambush is under way, so I run over and clear it, then go to my camp, no sooner do I get to camp, I see the hideout is ready, so I go clear that, then back to camp, I load up on ammo and stuff, then fast travel back across the map and repeat, I have done 3 levels a day, plus 11 to 15 gold bars, and everything else, without ever seeing another player, sometimes I do see a player but not very often, today I saw none, yesterday I saw one, the day before none, etc.. so I dunno, if you develope a similar strategy you too can level up, make tons of gold and not deal with others. Ive been doing this for weeks.

Nice!! Ive been sporting a strung Sombrero for a while now, it is my favorite hat in the game, so it was nice to see the colors available today and the black poncho too.of the other sombreros and they were 8 gold each, now I dont even wear them, so I kind of wish I had waited for these, but whatever, just glad to see the new additions. They probably reported you for cussing, never write a threat, or cuss it is a violation of the agreement you signed when you accepted terms for Xbox live. So, ok when you get griefed, a few things you can do, press charges, parlay, block the user, set your profile to "offline" and change servers, etc.. all will end the BS. You can also fire back and not incur a penalty and you will have the advantage, auto aim will work for you after they have fired on you, whereas they will not have this, if you have dyna arrows, or exploding rounds, go after them, or just leave it be. Today I was in Blackwater there was a lot of shooting, I was trying to get to the fast travel post, I was sniped by a level 11 player with a varmit rifle jst as I was getting there, I spawned a little ways off, so, I just turned and road off the other direction, it wasnt worth my time or ammo to go get even, meh, I know I can destroy him, but that is what he wants, me to engage him, I wasnt in that mode, so I just went back to what I was doing, it is up to you how you deal with it. I prefer to just basically ignore them, unless they really piss me off then I will get even a little and then move on, but it never feels 100% satisfying as it costs me ammo and I would rather use it for other things.

You will find they are very expensive, so get what you NEED. I have all except a few horse tonics and the baits, I really wanted the explosive rounds, incendiary rounds and dyna arrows, after that meh, dont need the rest, although I did get the tonics as they can be helpful in pvp.

Try going into your settings and adjusting it, from wide to narrow to none or something like that, you can adjust how strong the auto aim reacts for you, I tweaked mine a while back.

Well all seems well now, for most of the day though it was touch and go, and for the first time since I loaded this game back in Dec. Ive played the online since March, and never experienced the disconnects. Again, I did have one here or there, but never two in a single session and never like today. It is aggravating but I am sure they will work it out. I was also finally able to join a showdown large and get my daily challenges done, so it all worked out. Today was the third time I got all 7 and second day in a row. Im on day 29 so the multiplier is great, and the gold I am getting for completing them is really good. I was annoyed earlier when I just wanted to complete them and all I had left was to join a Showdown session. Anyway, it all worked out and things seem fine again. Ive had great luck with it over all.

So, all of a sudden today I was disconnected 5 times, it seems every 20 to 45 minutes I get disconnected. Also, I can not join a showdown series large. I tried the d pad, the game menu and the in game post that you can go to. Nothing works, I just hang on that black screen. Is anyone else having trouble today specifically? Xbox one.

If you look above at the post I just made, you can see the actual stats, I took these from the game, It IS the Beaver saddle, I listed all three for you to see yourself. You said you have 3 horses and listed your saddles, the Beaver saddle is very similar, but it is better in health core drain, but not quite as good in Stamina drain, compared to the Rattlesnake saddle, BUT they are very very close, to one another, either saddle is good, BUT the Panther Trail saddle beats them both. Either way the beaver and panther saddles flip flop the stamina and health drain rates, otherwise they are the same , the Ratlesnake saddle is a little different, but still a decent saddle, but not the best and my point all along was just that these are the two best saddles and we should have more options for colors, even the rattlesnake saddle could use a few options.

Which saddle are you talking about, what are the stats? as far as I know, nothing beats the Panther trail saddle, you cant get it until level 94 I think, it has -26/-22-20 and - 50% something like that, in the 26% and 22% stamina and health drain rates. The only one that comes close it the Beaver roping saddle which has the exact same numbers but they reverse the health and stamina drain rates and the Beaver is cash and the Panther is gold only. IF there is a better saddle I want to know, I have not seen one, but I have managed to miss simple things before especially with saddles so please let me know, seriously I would love to see a better saddle, I will buy it right now. I think the one you are talking about is the decorative one that has color options, but it doesnt come anywhere near the ones I mentioned in stats, if we are taking about the same saddles, those decorative ones are ok when you are low level and cant get a better saddle but after level 90 the ones I mentioned above as far as I know rule,

Yeah I understand, I just havent had that happen, I dunno, maybe it does, but it hasnt happened to me, I dont think it would happen enough to be a problem and I think people would learn real quick to be careful to avoid it just like in life. Who knows, just saying, I do get what you mean.

See I thought about that but I have never targeted a player to see who they are or for any reason really so I dont see it as happening by mistake, generally if you aim at something, you tend to shoot at it too. I dunno, I think its a good idea regardless to make it more realistic. Exaclty. Yeah, you are right. See, I think this is some kind of strategy, they antagonize you, then switch to defensive making it harder to hit them and so when you do, you become the one that can be charged and you become easily targeted, it is how it seems anyway, maybe Im wrong. Yeah that is odd, and your right, in a fight or after you target someone, there should be a cooling off period where you can not switch on the fly. Yeah, I believe you are right. I have a pretty strong set up currently and PIB with shotty in showdown large is crazy sweet!! I just did my daily challenges and one was kill 3 players with a rifle in a free roam event, so I jumped into Fools gold with a Springfield and PIB and wow, that was great, I went like 8 -1 before I quit, I didnt finsih the round although I am sure I would have had double digit kills with less than 5 deaths had I stayed, it was really dialed, I am loving it. Until Tuesday when I am assuming they will dial it back, tweak two others and leave us guessing again, so.... For now, PIB is killing it. I really enjoyed NWO and S&S but both are useless currently.
