It can get lonely out on the trails when you are a lone rider. Sometimes you can go hours without seeing a single player. Even then most don’t interact. Those that do either wave and run away or wave and shoot you. The person I usually ride with, we’ll call her Bonnie to my Clyde, hasn’t been up to playing for a while due to the little one on the way any time now. Once you have learned to fend for yourself, griefers are much less bothersome. So, I guess you could say, I invite the griefers when they cross my path. That interaction, tho can be irritating, also provides player interaction. That by no means justifies hunting down griefers as sport. That would make you just as guilty? Right or No? I mean, just because you have a posse with guns doesn't make you responsible for upholding the law does it? Ok so your a vigilante? Whats the difference?

I did have a guy remove my fish from my horse a couple weeks ago. So.. I removed his horse from my fish. Took my fish back off the ground and rode away.

Well historically speaking a posse is a body of men, typically armed, summoned by a sheriff to enforce the law. Now to define law that needs enforcing, in the game, is a bit tricky. The posse thing, I think we all know how to form them. They used to be volunteers not just a set specific group of individuals tho many were.

Defensive mode doesn't occur for 30 seconds. It also doesn't ghost out the player. The player can't go in and out at will either.

I dunno if that works. I have a friend who is always off line but when he is on the same server, I can see him. Not sure how you would track someone down that isn't on your friends list. Are you expecting they just kept server hopping to try to find you?

I don't get them often. More since out of beta but still not something I consider a problem. It doesn't help that I taunted them with the jig after the first shots. Maybe once a week I have an idiot / group of idiots. That only occurs when I get on earlier in the evening. Sometimes, it's a nice change up to not seeing anyone online tho when running solo. When I am with a posse, I usually don't have any issues.

Last night I had a posse of 4 kill me while fishing. I came back and shot all 4. They then proceeded to come at me from all sides with explosive rounds and incendiary buckshot. I kept running towards them doing the jig. They were getting irritated according to the language they were using. I kept silent until they wasted all their ammo. Finally said guess you need duck fat now. Slowly road away without any issues.

I have to agree with this greatly. Sometimes my kids will watch a movie on amazon and I set it to show off line. Many times I will forget to show online again. Does that mean I am a troll / griefer? No.

My Arabian with either the Nacogdoches or panter saddle seems to never run out of stam. My button mashing wears my hand out first. Not as skiddish IMO as people report.

I am sick of new content to just get a random server drop. They did put out new error codes that mean nothing with the last update tho. I will be happy with no new content but plenty of bug fix's and server drop and crash resolution. Document the darn known bugs and provide ETA on fix's.

I saw a posse ghosting in and out this weekend. They were well away from any vendor or stranger. Not sure how they were doing it. They would come out of ghost just long enough to shoot and back ghosted again. I don't mind losing a fair fight.

A MTU or Maximum transmission unit is the largest size packet that can be sent on the network such as the Internet. This determines the largest IP packet that your equipment will send. Generally the default is 1500. Making this too small will increase overhead on your system requiring more reply acknowledgements. Making this too big will create disconnects and other issues. Many devices will not accept packets over 1500. How this puts you into a private server? I am not sure.

Last night I was targeted while I was in Valentine. I sat there waiting and attacker never showed up. Easiest XP ever. I didn't have to do anything to get it.

There is no option to sleep online. This is due to a constant moving time of day.

I believe you can customize the colors.

Between no camp being set and server drops, I get it. At least your still in the game tho.
