Yes ! Finally ! Im happy for You. I killed lvl 150 players beeing lvl 20 with a shitty gun so its all about skill, upgrading it etc. I hit 104 lvl yesterday and still enjoying the game. Mostly i focus on pvp games - trying to get better and better. There are some really good players out there and would like to beat them someday - so this is my most important goal now. To master the game. Currently have all weapons i need, upgraded, engraved etc, Im looking at some outfits now bcoz i completely abandoned them to earn cash for ability cards first. Want to buy one more horse to try out. Have still like 3 recipes to buy that i want. Yesterday started exping a card setup i want to test during pvp - to fight another day & of single purpose to use with slippery bastard on pvp running around using only knives to kill ppl for fun of it so back to some hunting between matches. Started to do horse races daily as well. a couple of matches for fun. So seems im still hooked - heck even now in my ofice, writing here on forum i would love to go back to playing the game. Still 3 hours left in work 😜 Also im trying to accumulate some gold bars and dollars for the future updates and i hope that gambling will be introduced to the game because i really miss that part of the game. Would love to see saloons full off ppl playing cards, 5 fingers and stuff. I can understand that there are some legal issues that maybe postponing the implementation (its gambling) and probably the currency used for playing will be in game dollars and not gold bars since You can buy them via R* shop so yeah legal gambling issues but in the end everything can be done. As for the grind and the levels itself. Im an old PC mmorpg hard core player (retired). Mostly played korean mmo with insane money/lvl/skill grind where You need to kill 20 k npc's to lvl up... and loose this lvl in one day loosing in pvp. Im used to hardcore grind to that point i started to enjoy it. crazy i know. For me gaining lvls and money in this game is a walk in the park - for others it might be a grind. As said before im one of that breed of players that will have everything unlocked in this game - when i do who knows maybe ill leave rdro for ome time or maybe forever. While im enjoying it im playing. When You stop enjoying a game just stop playing it - that is what i will do. Anyway good to still have You around. And sorry for the long read.

During the weekend i was shot while semi afking in free roam by 2 dudes on a horse. When i respawned i started to chase them to take my revenge naturally and they noticed me doing it and tried to run away. They had a shitty horse so the pursuit was fast over. Both of them took refuge behind a big tree with a wall behind them. Killed both of them easy bcoz they were both low rank. Killed them 3 times for them to take the lesson, rode away for some distance and started to change card setup back to "hunting' mode and then suddenly i saw one of that guy (it was the leader of the posse) chasing me on his horse, completly blurred out (could not lock on to him or shoot him when i aimed "by hand". He was throwing dynamite to kill me so i figured to do the same to him - ended up blasting myself with unstable dynamite lol - too many beers i guess. Im seeing more and more of that "anomaly". Can some1 explain here what is this and is it legit or an exploit?

I play on X box as well and never ever encountered that big group of griefers. Actually would like to take part in such a battle lol. Can You send me the list of the players via private - maybe i know some1. I honestly cant imagine a situation where You and Your firend(s) are constantly harrased for weeks now. Seems like You are not telling the whole picture here. Seems like its personal issue between Your parties. There are ways of solving such issues. Some of them were said here. Maybe try to "make a bigger zerg" or just talk to the leaders of that group. Organize better.

VERY BIG GRATZ !!!! Nice work put into it. Never saw someone higher lvl than You. All i can say is: Challenge accepted Just hit 92 y-day. So i have a loooong run ahead of me but i still have a lot of fun playing so the motivation is there.

hmm strange. Havent seen anything like that. I often use crouching and standing back in pvp bcoz its harder to be hit in the head like that - its not that fast tho. Be sure to report it when u see more of this.

After day 3 of my "diet" It works ! Im almost normal weight I rest my cores on campfires if i need to. Realized that You really dont need to eat and cook food. When i need dead eye ill just pop a brandy or headshot someone/ something. No more fatty for me.

Isnt this a lag thing? I was with a group of players on a mission some time ago and one of them was all over the place, teleporting, twitching. I assumed he had network problems.

Hah ! told You so ! Lets dumb the game down every week ! Yaaaay !!!! i just hit 89 yesterday. And was looking forward to my reward - explosive ammo. I started playing early feb and played solo grinding cash for ability cards , weapons, and now recipes for ammo and stuff. I never used any exploit and havent met anyone that did. I tried to posse up early in the game but i noticed i xp and gain cash faster solo tbh. Im more of a lone wolf anyway like to earn stuff by myself. This update is a slap in the face for me. There needs to be something to grind for, to be happy to achieve. I really hate the fact that R* is giving away stuff that ppl should earn to have. You suck at this game? You are a sore looser and cant get past lvl 50, cant grind enough cash ? Then You will be running around with a normal lancaster getting You ass handed to You by better players, taking explosive rounds to the head. That is the way it should be. What is the next move ? Maybe give away ability cards for free ?! just bcoz the noobs cant get them and cry on forums and ingame how they struggle. I grinded over 15 k dollars for the cards i have and it gives me advantage bcoz i worked for it. And about the so called "griefers". I play everyday and i havent had problems whatsoever with a band of high lvls chasing me around and killing me. Maybe once or twice when i was under lvl 15 but it was not a problem for me. I handled it. The ones that shoot me in the head when im afking or skinning an animal are nubs lvl 5-20 that dont realize who they r messing with. Funny how they cry or run away after i have my revenge on them. Please R* DO NOT DUMB DOWN THE GAME FURTHER ! PLEASE !

Okay so after day 2 of my "diet" Conclusion is still that the system is bugged. I havent eaten anything for the 2nd day. I started y day by doing daily's, hunted a bit then i went on a quick mission and when i was spawned back to free roam guess what .... i gained weight. LOL. After that i went on about 20 pvp matches and finally when i was spawned back to free roam i saw the weight icon with an arrow pointing down. Im curious how long will it take to starve myself back to normal weight.

Is there any way to stop skinning an animal ? I get frustrated when im skinning a deer and it takes forever and while im doing it a flock of pelicans fly overhead and i cant shoot them. After im done skinning they usually gone (despawned) or above deep water and such. Also situations like players comming to me to shoot me while im skinning.

Never had issues with daily. I start my game by doing the daily missions. Yesterday was more competition on hideouts bcoz there was a daily on it. When looking for hideouts its good to take high ground and look around for black smoke in the horizon. The only issue i had with daily was when gathering 5 herbs - it didnt counted some of the herbs i picked so eventually i had to pick up 7 or even 9 to count to 5/5. This issue is no longer a problem for me after the last update tho. With animals - when You cant find them just change sessions or make a quick pvp match and come back. Works for me.

Hah ! Was thinking about this y-day while playing. How can i get my weight back down. This 125% core drain starting to piss me off. Since y day i stopped eating. No meat, no canned food what so ever. Ill only smoke cigars and drink alcohol (Lol ) like Renascent said. When ill need my cores 100% ill just sit down and relax a bit by the fire. We will see where it gets me and how long will it take. The whole weight gain/loss thing is broken. They need to fix it.

Correct. Since some patches ago sometimes live animals disappear. Especially birds. I've noticed that after i get zoned out of a showdown or pvp event, mission i see birds flying over head and when i aim at them and press fire they disappear. Also when i started playing RDRO (feb) i didnt notice disappearing carcases. Now whenever it gets out of the minimap window it despawns. Also one time i had a fresh kill despawn a few meters from me when i was skinning its friend. I was literally looking at it and poof ! I think they should increase the range a bit. Also i hate the fact that You cant lasso dead animal that fell into the water.

Shotguns are good on close distance (its obvious). I mostly use 2x sawed off's + bolt + Repeater shotgun (i heard that pump is a bit better but bought the repeater first). When there are one or two enemies close i ll use the sawed offs if more ill use the shotgun for its 6 shots. Very good for defending places. Lancaster - i only use it now on missions to kill npc's switching instantly to bolt when a foe aproaches. Looking forward for the explosive ammo Still need a few lvls. Maybe this weekend.

Thank You all for great input ! Was a good read. I do understand that there is no "best" horse same as there is no best weapon and best card setup - it all depends on the situation. As for the black arabian - i like his "steering" and acceleration. I got some nice results in races on it. Specially in Saint Denis. What i dont like about him that he gets scared pretty much always. Snake, gator, shooting, etc. Ill Buy the turk and foxtrotter and see how they behave. Then ill delete the 1st arabian and the noob horse to buy another turk and trotter. You got me curious on that character thing.

Just a thing i would like to know from more exp'ed players since i strated playing rdro in mid february. Currently i have 3 horses: 1. The one i got from the start (ill sell him after i get the 5 horse achieve) 2. Arabian from lvl 52 i think and the one i use now - black arbian from lvl 70 i think. Is this the best (fastest) horse to have now or are there better ? I noticed i have almost full "circle" of health and stamina on it. It misses the final bit to be full. Is this a saddle thing ? Im using the special "gator" saddle on it. Should i buy a better saddle for it or is there a better horse out there. Need to buy two more horses so maybe some suggestions on which ones should i buy?

Looking forward to try this new pvp mode after work today. It seems not much of an content update but i think more cool stuff regarding free roam will come eventually. What i dont like is the 30% exp bonus for abilty cards - dont like anything that makes the game easier. Anyway im here for the long haul as well so we will se what time will bring.
