OK as many said above : You got Your shiet stolen, face slapped and did nothing ?!?! Damn. Dynamite arrow the horse and the dude. I really dont care if some1 uses defensive mode or not. When they come close to me i shoot them. I was trying to be the nice dude and "never shoot first" but honestly that does not work. I had many situations when i didnt shoot the guy (but could do it easy) and got shot in the face a moment later later to see he changed sessions or w/e. I even had one dude fishing and didnt shoot him bcoz its stupid was just passing by and he put the rod away turn around and shot me..... That got my nerves real bad. Im tired of ppl waving to you and then when you turn back BANG! to the head. Now i shoot everyone that comes close to me while im free roaming. Defensive or not. Pressing charges is a joke anyway. There is no actual penalty for killing other players. Untill they introduce the bounty system when you can take contracts for outlawed players. Sorry to hear you get frustrated but my advice for You is to deal with thieves the hard way. Maybe You will find it fun. I know i do.

Las 4 days were very bad with DC and joining showdown (large especially). Never had so many DCs since i started playing RDO. hope they wil find a solution to this. I was struggling to get the large showdown daily for almost 2 hours lol. Its frustrating.

Joined elimination series y-day and won the first match didnt recieve ammo tho. Maybe later. BTW Can anyone pls tell me how to upload movies and screenshots to the forum please from xbox . Msg me if You can. TY.

Great Job ty v much ! Im printing it as we speak on big format. Im playing for a couple of months now and memorized most of the locations but still sometimes its just faster to look at the map. Nice !

Damn ! some time ago - a couple of days dont remember. I was fishing for the 15 fish achievement and was targeted for assasination. Wanted to take ground and w8 for fight but i didnt saw anyone comming. There were not seen on map even. So i continued fishing and in the last 10 secs of the timer i was shot dead between the ears. The red dot spawned instantly close to me. So this is the "new" thing now huh? Lame.

Same here i go to a barber only when there is a daily to change face app. Would be cool to "turn on" hair growth.

Yes. That is why the majority of targeted for assasination just run - ez money. This mission needs adjustments.

Damn that is soooooo lame i mean cmon. Sadly there will always be players like that finding "holes" to ruin other's fun. I've seen them in every online game i played ever. At least here those ppl are annoying and not gamebreaking like in other online games. Remind me of funny thing y-day while i was playing. I stole a donkey from a farm and used it instead of my horse - it was so funny. Then my door bell rang and i had to go afk for 8-10 mins. It was the first time i used defensive mode and left my character on the road. When i got back the donkey was gone, i was without my hat standing high on the cliffs. I thought to myself - i bet i was hogtied and dropped from a cliff somwhere or sth like that. Shame i didnt see it really (i bet i wouldnt allow it but still). My opressor ! If You're reading this and have video of "the murder" i would like to watch it There will always be players looking to disturb You/ shoot you while your afk etc. Grow strong and kill em and learn to let go sometimes (especially while outnumbered).

Slow and Steady (my personal favorite) was nerfed big time in pvp. Seems to work ok against the npc's tho. At this point it became usless in pvp. Same goes to NWO - didnt really use it that much. I use a variety of cards depending on the situation im in. I have all 24 cards on tier 3 so many to pick from. Unfortunately there are quite a number of usless cards (at least in current update state) The biggest disappointment for me was the Short Game card (increase dmg from close distance / decrease dmg from long dis). I really thought it will combine well with shotguns and pistols/revolvers. The range is so low You have to be really really close to the victim for it to work. Less then half of effective shotgun range... Cards like Hangman, The gift of focus, A moment to recuperate, Take the pain away are usless atm. I really liked my pvp setup : S&S + Unblinking Eye + eye for eye + Cold blooded - doesnt work now so need to find another i like for most pvp games. I like to use : SB + Unblinking eye + To fight another day + Of single purpose - Pvp run around and kill ppl with knives, machette etc I use same on "steal goods" games and focus only on stealing and delivering. In free roam mostly i use DMG setup for hunting. I dont use bow for hunting - Bolt action + Varmint is good for me. Focus fire + Horseman + Landon's patience+peak condition - One shot in the biggest game will always kill the animal even if You missed the heart / head it will bleed out fast and there is no need to ruin the pelt with 2nd shot. On co-op missions i like to use cards that regenerate health for whole team (Quite an inspiration) it regenerates health pretty fast and does not break when shot at. Same with focus fire - its good boost to dmg for the lower lvl ppl playing with You - and less chance to fail the mission. I still havent decided about the main pvp build but im thinking : 1 st : PiB + Hunker down + Winning streak + Peak condition 2nd PiB + Hunker Down + Winning streak + Cold blooded 3rd PiB + Hunker down + Winning streak + Landon's patience Or same ones but Focus Fire instead of PiB - need to run some tests. At the end there is no "BEST" card layout. I change them quite frequently depending on situation and play style.

Y- day i played about 6 hours and noticed lack of hideouts and events too. Changed servers frequently. Got only one hideout and 2 events. I even notice some kind of a glitch when the hideout icon turns on when you are close to a hideout spot and then instantly off. Strange,

I agree. Im using the panther one on my black white MFT and it doesnt look too good. I use it for stats tho its obvious why. I would love to be able to change the color of it. Good suggestion !

Didnt bother ppl when i was new as well and now when im 144. Since the start when i get shot in the back of my head while doing my own business 99% were players <25 lvl A few days ago tho there was an idiot lvl 350 ish in tumbleweed sniping with carcano hidden somwhere on the roofs. That was the first time ive seen such high lvl harrasing players.

Im on xbox as well. Sometimes when you set up camp nothing happens i usually just wait 2-3 secs and set up again and it triggers. It happened to me some times but not much. Also some areas where you try to set up camp are "full on camps" and the system will not allow you to place another one in that area bcoz there is no place. There is a msg in the corner of the creen saying that the area is full and there is no more place for one.

I've tried the cops killing method in Annesburg or Van Horn once ( You get to the end of the platform and water is on your back, get behind the boxes and just kil 2-3 npc and let other witnesses call the cops - then just start shooting) I did that for about an hour and was so bored doing this i stopped and never did this again. For me the best way to earn exp now is free roam and stranger missions. A lot of thing happening on the road. And i like the world very much, the views, animal sounds etc.

I noticed an increase of new players in last couple of days as well but that is a good thing. In every online game. Yes they are annoying last couple of days im like a zombie hunting mostly and doing dailys to finally finish my last tier 3 ability card ! Card nr 24. I need only 100 dollars more - didnt have strenth to finish it y-day. During those couple of days i totally ignored them. Got shot in similar situation maybe 3 or 4 times but didnt react. Just pressed charges and carried on with my grind. I bet they felt good shooting a lvl 141 and getting away with it but i really could not care less about them at this point. But it changes today im going to be ruthless towards them.

Old thread or not... I personally like the Assasination mission. When im targeted i look for a good spot to take ground and fight. Unfortunately when i have a target to kill most of the players run like crazy or change session. There are some things that i dont understand tho : 1. When i get targeted by one or more players for assasination i can kill them but they spawn close and keep attacking until they shoot you and mission is over they won no matter if You shoot them first. Shoud be mission over since first kill. 2nd thing is y-day i got assasination mission and the player system chose for me to kill was lvl 10..... im lvl 141... this is stupid. I didnt chase the dude it seemed ridiculous. my 2 cents on that matter

Like Lumper said above - Treasure maps. When i started playing i had terrible luck with the maps but now it changed. After the last update i noticed a big increase in items from looting. There are a lot more jewelery, potions and treasure maps. 2 days ago i even got a map from a body i looted while doing stranger mission (one from Flacko when You have to bust out his friend from prison wagon) and that never happened to me before. Other thing is the achievement - 1000 looted corpses, Its a slow one but still more exp. Im currently doing it 3rd time. I usually do hideouts solo - when i see im too late and someone else started to clean them i just leave and let them do it. Sometimes when im clearing one and some1 joins me after we clear i tend to leave half of the corpses closer to him for him to loot them in peace.

I like the idea of this but yes i share Your opinion on that very delicate matter. That is why there are no native american NPC's i suppose.

Yeah that what i was thinking. Strange but it downloaded the whole game . Im on CD version btw.

Since the update i noticed that the best way of exping and cash/gold bars is now Free roam and stranger missions. Before the update the best way to gain exp was playing showdowns and hunting for gold and dollars. That seem to change. Also there are quite a lot of events happening in free roam that earn You even more extra cash and exp not to mention new acheivements. The daily streak is nice as well but i dont think it impacts the rewards from treasure maps. I lost my streak that i had since the update (was on day 15 or 16) bcoz of long download of the update and now im back on day 1. Y day i got one treasure map and got 1+ gold bars and 111 $ and before that one i had 2 with only 50 $ each and something like 0,6 gold in it besides having the streak.

Yes yes yes ! We want it ! Im 100% sure they will implement this in near future - its ready from day one (single player mode). Same with carts and wagons. Actually at the beginning i bought "better" horse satchel in the stables but was disapointed its only visual upgrade. Having 30 animal fats would be cool tho

Well when i got back from work y-day the update was over so i was able to play i lost my daily challenge streak tho back to day one But all and all the game is soooo much fun in its current state - so much happening in free roam. I was riding from strawberry to flacko and Ms addler to take missions and it took me almost two hours lol. Had so many encounters on the road. Im having a blast.

Im happy with the update but im having issues with my internet conection bcoz some workers damaged the cables near my house and they had to dumb down my conection to 10 Mb/s... The uptade is 95 GB of data.... Im downloading it for 14 hours now and im on 60%. Damn i bet ill be back from work in 5 hours and still cant play 😣

Yeah but Le-Mat deff worth it. I stopped using my Schofields after i got the le mat's. Im curious if there is any secret achievement on having all 24 cards on tier 3 . im so close. Need only 2 more cards to lvl to have all tier 3. The cards were really expensive to get cash and xp wise.
