@boes Didn't you already post this? If you die with a legendary skin, it goes to the trapper anyway (unless I misread something). You should be fine. (Regardless you should always save when something important happens)

My horse caused me to face-plant a tree... again!
Truth replied to Ebonezra's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
I haven't really had any issues either. Though, I was using the cinematic view during a mission and keeping pace with (whoever I was following) and it sent me right into a tree... My horse is drunk in cinematic view, he constantly starts trying to go in a circle, or bumps into things. Other than that, every tree I've run into deserved it. -
Problem with "Fishing Rod cannot be equipped here"
Truth replied to wiltzuh's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
I noticed with another game that had MANY issues that completely closing games will prevent a lot of bugs. Ever since then, I've made it a habit. -
I made the assumption that the "flee" option was a way to abandon the horse... Could that be the case?
-
Well I no longer have to think about what I'm going to do when I boot up the game later...
-
Ah... Good catch! I rarely use my scopes, so I didn't even realize that. Glad you figured it out!

That's a single shot (there's your problem). Use the repeater. I did this by shooting a bounty hunter (and his horse) and some bird that happened to be flying by (using a repeater). HOLD aim (L2), engage dead eye (right stick), press R1 over each target, then shoot (R2) - now you can release L2 Took me a while to figure it out, but it's actually extremely helpful. Get used to it, and you can easily kill 7+ targets at once (and look like a badass in the process).

@Aimesleje @DylBandit @debbo89 Not sure why I came here knowing it would be full of spoilers, but it's funny to see the spoiler option being put to use.

Just realized yesterday that the "eagle eye" vision highlights lootable objects (bookcases, desks, etc). Also just noticed yesterday that dead eye highlights kill shots on animals. That's really helping with perfect pelts! (wasn't paying attention when it was explained, so I just started using dead eye in chapter 2...) @gigemaggs99 pointed this out to me, but I have yet to try it: I know I have a few more (probably obvious) ones that I was oblivious to. I'll be back!

ALWAYS. SAVE. THE GAME. I may spend a lot of time in the menu because I save all the time, but it's better than missing out on something important for a stupid reason. Accidents happen, it's nice to get a redo when you need it.

Free website that someone has to maintain (plus it's an "unofficial" forum). I can understand a few, but the website loads VERY slow on my phone now... Edit: Also drains my battery REALLY fast if I forget to close it...

How can I ride a horse properly without gasping or grunting?
Truth replied to Graham's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
@Kean_1 I think you're supposed to time the button taps with the blinking. I might be wrong, but it seems to drain slower when you keep pace with that instead of trying to keep pace with your horse. I spent a lot of time trying to outrun bounty hunters last night... -
****, I forgot about that option... (sorry) @Cokeyskunk Don't read the OP, it's a spoiler!
-
I agree... Edit: Seems to have stopped. I think this is something you can change at a gun shop.
-
Sounds like there might be a bug there after all...
-
I'm enjoying the "spoiler" option though!

Son of a bitch... I've wasted so much time... Then again, you probably miss a lot by doing it that way. Regardless, thank you for sharing that! -

Don't you still have to press a? -
I don't think it was specifically in reference to your post, probably just a general statement.
-
I assumed this was just some passive effect. I also made the one with the Lion claw, but I never thought anything of it really... I'll try to remember to look into it later. (I also didn't know there was a place to view your perks...)

You forgot "spoilers"... I'm sure you can catch a new one, but you'll have to bond with it again.
