  1. Isn't it only cosmetic in story mode as well? I don't recall that doing anything for me. Never noticed, but I never really bothered with that feature.
  2. I don't think any side missions popped up in the epilogue. Side stuff is detailed in the "total completion" section of your progress.
  3. Well I was in my car on my lunch break, I'll let you figure that one out.
  4. Hey! I definitely felt ashamed when my buddy caught me scrolling through facebook yesterday! I know better than that...
  5. My brother had to go through a long and pointless custody battle when my nephew was a baby. He too applied for some sort of financial aid. When he went in for the interview, they literally told him "you're the wrong color" and sent him on his way. When I was looking for small scholarship opportunities through the local community college, I found that there is something for EVERYONE, excluding white males. There is such a thing as "white privilege", but we are also held to a different standard.
  6. "THAT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!! I want to bang one out when I please!!!" Sound accurate?
  7. @donbzm Not sure what the intent of this post was, but you're absolutely right. Businesses want your money, so they do what they deem necessary to get you to spend it. Nothing new. R* is capable of making games that people continue to spend money on for years after release. Once they saw they had gotten it right (for them), why would they change it? I fully expected RDO to be a cash grab like GTAO is. It's built for those who want to spend MORE money on the game. For those that don't, they have story mode.
  8. I expected it to be like what @Kormath described, but I lucked out and got it done in a couple hours (max). I put it off for a while because I truly expected that to be like 1/1000000000 odds. I was shocked when I got the first one in just a few minutes. I saved immediately, got another not too long after that. When I got the third, I almost ran out to buy lottery tickets lol
  9. You can't partner up in story mode... Edit: Damn @Kormath, 2 posts in a row you got out just before me lmfao
  10. @David a large portion of the "total completion" requirement is simply playing through the story. You can check your progress by hitting start, selecting "progress", and it is under "total completion". That tells you everything you'll need to accomplish.
  11. BUT it's the cheapest gun AND holds 14 rounds. Good starter gun, but I agree that there are better options.
  12. I get the feeling you didn't finish the game...
  13. @LastUnicorn I hijacked it. Just get it up to speed and jump on top. You don't get much time before it stops, but you should be able to shoot down a few.
  14. I think (as @Kormath mentioned) you're thinking of a different map. The treasure hunter will show up again eventually. He can be found all over the map. I still get a tip pop-up that I should look out for people selling maps every once in a while, even though I already did it. You can also just shoot him and get the map for free btw. No haggling necessary.
  15. @Cokeyskunk the treasure maps reward you with a few gold bars, but I've never heard of a 10k stash anywhere... Unless there's something you REALLY want to buy, I wouldn't bother worrying about how much cash you have. Buy what you want, then forget about money. Get through the rest of the missions and you'll have plenty of cash for whatever else you want. I personally wouldn't have bothered with the treasure maps if I didn't have the guide. I know I wouldn't have found them.
  16. *There is no invincibility cheat in Red Dead Redemption 2, nor do any of the cheats work in Red Dead Online. https://www.rdr2.org/cheats/rdr2/ That sucks... Looks like this is the closest we have now:
  17. They should make Jason a random encounter in the swamps! (not really, but it would be cool)
  18. Didn't notice you were a mod now, congratulations! @Stvnbgo the "block player" option is right under "report player". Use that instead of the "message player" option, and you won't have these problems...
  19. Took a few tries for me to notice that as well lol Now for the grizzly! I had more trouble finding it than killing it. As long as you spot it before it charges, you shouldn't have any problems.
  20. Are you supposed to Pat it, or ride it?
  21. I went to Thieves landing for this and discovered I was able to sneak up and shoot 2 people guarding the hideout. I was then able to run away (just enough that the hideout was off my minimap) and that forces them to respawn. I would assume you can just do the same at one you have access to. I don't think that would work for a random camp though... I'm pretty sure they'll just chase you down.
  22. Depends what you're into...
  23. ALWAYS SAVE YOUR GAME. I save every few minutes simply to avoid that.
  24. " Proximity-Based Player Blips: Player location blips will soon appear only over short distances, reducing the range at which you are visible to others, decreasing the likelihood of being targeted by another player across large areas. Down the line, we’re also looking to introduce the ability to identify players who grief and kill indiscriminately with a progressively darkening blip that becomes more visible and at a longer range, so everyone in a session can identify potentially dangerous opponents at a glance and from a safe distance. " ^^^ **** YEAH ^^^
  25. That's actually good advice... Hell, you might just learn something...
