Granted non-skinned animal carcass will give you more materials. You can buy the Hunting Wagon & store a bunch of skins in there. Along with up to 5 large animals. I don't ride around with the Hunting Wagon. I just call the wagon throw the large animal or pelt in the wagon & dismiss it & go back to riding my horse to hunt. I use the wagon as a storage bin. This way I'm not riding back & forth to camp with only one large animal on my horse. You can also skin medium animals too. Ofc the non-skinned medium animal will give you more, like 3+ materials compared to just a skin that will give you 1 material. But you can carry up to 30 skins of one type of medium animal in your satchel. So 30 rabbit skins, 30 raccoon skins, 30 snake skins & so on. So perfect medium animal skins might only give you 1 material, but if you collect 20 or so skins that is already 20+ materials for you Trader role. This also works for poor, good, & perfect too. Meaning 30 poor rabbit skins, 30 good rabbit skins & 30 perfect rabbit skins, that you can carry in your satchel. I think 30 is the max for each category. Same thing with Birds (Vulture, Hawk, Eagle & Condors to name a few) I get 3 feather each time I skin these birds (If they are good or perfect) & can carry up to 30 feathers for each bird. Most feather will give you 0.90 material for each feather. If you collect 30 feathers that equals to 27.0 materials just for 30 Vulture feathers. Now you add in the other birds Hawk, Eagles, Condors at 27.0 each. That's a total of 108.0 materials for all 4 bird types. I just ride around shooting poor, good, perfect medium animals / birds & skin them. If I see a perfect large animal (Buck, Deer, Pronghorn, Bighorn Sheep, Cougar, Panther), I will kill it & toss the animal in the back of the hunting wagon. Then continue on my hunting trip. All of it adds up.

Not a bug, You won’t see that map again or the title on the main screen after the cut scene. Open up the quick menu option go to Camp & Properties / Moonshine Shack / Choose Shack Location / here you can select one of the five Moonshine Shack Location.

I've been playing the last week. Still the same bugs. For whatever reason my main character still is messed up with bugs. Disconnects, animals not spawning, camp disappears & so on. But my 2nd character is a whole lot better. Been playing this past weekend only on my 2nd account, with only 1 disconnect & only twice animals stop spawning. But I did a story mission & right afterwards more animals started to show up. Actually enjoy playing again since my 2nd account is working. Still don't understand why my main character is messed up the my 2nd character works fine. Since both accounts are on the same Xbox.

Don't play it anymore, since players just want to run around shooting each other or snipe from a high advantage point. Instead of playing the actually event.

I stop playing for a few months because of annoying glitches & problems. After playing for the past few days, still see R* haven't fixed much of the glitches or problems. But I'm setup & ready to buy all the stuff that R* releases next. Main Character: Currently rank (lvl) - 312 Tokens - 72 Gold bars - 304 RDO$ - 105,650.00 2nd Character: Currently rank (lvl) - 190 Tokens - 96 Gold bars - 4 RDO$ - 4,520.00

It has been a glitch in the past. The best solution is to buy the Trader role then buy the Hunting Wagon, once you unlock it. Any pelts or carcasses you put in the wagon will save once you place the pelt / carcass in the wagon. You can disconnect 1 mins after placing the pelt / carcass in the wagon, they will still be in your wagon once you log back in. So if you are tired of hunting for 10 mins to an hour & all of a sudden the stuff disappear or you disconnect, losing everything. The Hunting Wagon in the Trader Role is your best option.

It been awhile since I played that mode. So I don't know if the mode turned into free-aim. It use to be normal mode. If the mode is free -aim than it's like a Race. Players will use Paint it Black. Even though it's free aim, once you activate Paint it Black you just have to move the cross hairs over the player & you get the red marks that lock onto the player. This is a quick way to kill players in free-aim mode. Some players are good at using Paint it Black in free-aim mode & can get headshots easy. Especially while on horseback. If the mode is normal. A lot of players use the ability card Slippery Bastard in that mode. So players will activate Slippery Bastard so other player cannot locked on to them. Then turn it off & start shooting once they get behind them or right after they shoot. So I think the players you are up against are using Paint it Black & using it to paint your head with a red x, killing you easily.

It’s not a bug. You can not sell horses or wagons while Online.

There's no guarantee that it will be place in the same spot everytime. But you will get the same area, less than 2 mins for short deliveries. I marked on the screenshot with a red square. In the red square there's an abandon camp site. Ride up to the abandon camp & setup your own camp. Your camp has a possibility to spawn where mine is on the screenshots. If you're lucky you will get the short delivery at scratching post which you can finish the delivery is less than 30 seconds or the other delivery is Benedict Points (less than 2 minutes). As long as you can get your camp to spawn South/under the E in New Austin & West of Benedict Point, you'll get a short delivery of less than 2 minutes. Sometimes the camp will setup by Gaptooth gang hideout which is one of the furthest deliveries or above Tumbleweed. If I don't get the camp where I want it or too many players in that area. I just switch servers by clicking online in the option & selecting Free Roam in the Main Menu. This will spawn me by the abandon camp in a new server. I just try & setup my camp again.

Last update somewhat fixed animal spawns, but has messed up other parts of the game like you have mentioned. I’m having the same issue you’re having too. Causing me to stop playing again.

I’m on Xbox & the same thing happening. Can’t enter it sometimes or it disappears. I do a story mission or have to restart the game to get it working again.

I decide to give it a go, since R* said they improved stuff. I have to say that things are looking up. Last 4 months haven't seen 1 animal to kill. Now, I'm at least able to fill my camp up 100% of materials. 1st time I noticed animals stop spawning. I fast travel to a new location & started looking for Collectibles. After collecting a few Collectibles, I started seeing animals spawning again. Not sure if I was just lucky to get them spawning again. Few other time I've had issues with animals not spawning, I just do a Story Mission or a Bootlegger Mission & animals start to spawn in again. I'm also able to see dynamic events & gang hideouts are back. The game still has it's issues, but it's a lot better than a few months ago. Well at least R* is trying to work on the issues. Even though they're working at a snails pace.

Works sometime. Doesn’t work others, still get stuck in the loadscreen from time to time.

I find Elk in the Grizzles. By Cotorra Springs, Calumet Ravine, all the way to Brandywine Drop & North of Big Valley by Little Creek River. Sometimes find them by Aurora Basin.

Only killing a dozen / 12 bots a day will have little to no affect on decreasing your Honor. It takes 6 -10 bot kills just to lower your honor by one level. Now if you're trying to decrease your honor, but still are hunt/ skin animals, feed your horse & so on. Which will increase your honor. Meaning if you kill 10 bots & your honor goes down, just feeding your horse once could make your honor go back up. So you will have to kill another 10 bots just to lower your honor again. Now if you do more stuff to increase your honor while trying to decrease your honor. Your honor will never go down. Easiest way for me to lower my honor is to ride from town to town killing all the bots I see on the way. This way I don't rack up a bounty.

To switch servers: Click start, click on Online, This will bring you to the Main Menu / Start screen. Here just click on Free Roam, Camp or a certain location like New Austin. This is allow you to switch servers.

I agree with you fully. Especially when they came out with the moonshiner update right before Christmas saying in their patch notes they've fixed the animals spawns. I'm sure they hurried up the moonshiner update so they can boost their sales right before the holidays. I would be thrilled if they started to have private server, so I could at least hunt. I wouldn't care if I had to go to a public room to deliver my goods.

R* is a billion dollar company that already has our money. A petition isn’t going to make them work any harder or faster. The only way this would work is if we boycott their next game release. Which I highly doubt any one will do. GTA 6 or whatever. When it hits their pocket books, they might realize they need to start making games without bugs. But then again this is probably why R* releases the campaign 1st before the multi player version. To get our money from the start. But I guess a petition is worth a try.

R* didn't just decide to f the game up... It's a glitch. My main character rank 300 = no animals. But my 2nd character/profile rank 100 = animals everywhere no issues. Now I cannot figure out why my 1st profile has no animals but my 2nd profile has animals everywhere.. Since both profiles are on the same Xbox using the same game files. If I remember correctly the Owlhoot family bounty doesn't have a timer, since you have to ride around & capture 4 different bounties. I remember this one having the yellow shaded area.

Since the moonshine update I've been having issues with the Trader's resupply missions too. When I deliver my resupplies I would get the points for the delivery, but the game wouldn't register the supplies. I am able to go back to Cripps & start another resupply mission again. I did 3 resupplies in a row before the game registered the resupplies. The other glitch is when I return with supplies my camp is gone, even though my camp icon is still be on the minimap. Since I'm having issues with resupply mission, I tried buy the supplies. Now a new glitch... I have used all my free vouchers for resupplies but I still get the supplies for free when ordering them. Even though it say buy resupplies for $20. When I click to buy, I see the free voucher icon pop up & I get the supplies for free. Been getting supplies for free for awhile now.

Its just my guess. This sound like a hack. What you are describing sound like what happen in GTAO pc. When hacker would drop money bags above the players head giving non hackers tonnes of money in seconds. Getting the non-hacker banned because of a massive amount of money the non hacker/player would get in a matter of seconds.

Just to be clear you sell the big fish at the Butcher in town at Saint Denis, Blackwater, Valentine & so. You should be able to sell big fish to the Butcher in town for $5.00 to $7.00 depending on the type of big fish. You don’t give the big fish to the butcher table at your camp. Cripp doesn’t accept fish.

I think nshanny is right, have to be dishonorable. In order to complete 100% of the Land of Opportunity you have to switch between honorable & dishonorable status. I looked online & found the mission list, you need to be dishonorable to continue on with the story missions. Once you reach dishonorable status the next mission should pop up on your map in the next 5 mins. You can just ride around & kill bot or go to a town & kill cops & other bots.
