Double tap & hold RB on Xbox 1 The difference is, Land of Opportunity are the Story Missions, Free-Roam is the map where you interact with everyone in a lobby. But if you mean the difference between the Main Menu options. If you click Land of Opportunity it will put you in a Free-roam to continue your Story missions. You could join, might be other members wanting to posse up to help each other out. Or some times it's trolls that will send invites just to kick you and start killing you. If you join a persistent posse. You will see a pop up message every time the leader starts / reforms the posse, which you can go to the quick menu & join up right away. If you are part of a persistent posse you can tap Right D-pad / click on Posse & there you will see which persistent posses you are apart of. Online isn't like Single / campaign, you can't stable horses you find in free-roam. You have to buy a horse from the stables & in time you will level up the bonding. To increase the bond you can feed, clean, press the LS in while riding it, hitch the horse to stuff, or lead it around. To find treasure easier have vibration turned on with your controller & use eagle eye. The more your controller vibrates the closer you are to the treasure, then use eagle eye. You will see an fx of gold. The same fx that is used for plants but instead of white, you will see Gold for the treasure location. Or you might have a glitch Pressing charges make the players dot turn a brighter red & when you parley them, it mean the player can't kill you for 10 mins.

I couldn't agree with you more. But unfortunately I don't think they will bring free aim lobbies or R* would have to deactivate Paint it Black for free aim or change the card completely. Because what's the point in free aim when players can just use Paint it Black in there. PiB is the biggest cheat in the game. I think, since the game already does the work for you with auto-aim. I want another ability slot / setup, so I can setup different cards for different playing styles. At least have a PvE ability slot & a PvP slot. I'm getting tired of switch cards from story mission back to free-roam or pvp modes to free-roam. Since I would prefer just to click the setup I want to use instead of switching out cards.

I think it’s 24. I could be wrong. But I can’t recall seeing more than 24.

yeah, I'm having a similar issue. I spawned in called my horse & started to ride away. Notice the horse was moving extremely slow & moving his head from side to side. I checked the stat & didn't see anything wrong. So went to the stable & purchase the gold cores. Still acting the same way. I then gave the horse stim. & med for the gold outer circle, with the same result. I switched servers to fix the problem. I've only had this issue a couple of times the past week. If you don't want to switch servers, try to flee the horse & call a new one. Maybe that will fix the issue.

yeah I agree, I don't care for the design. So I bought the one that blends into my horse & I don't really notice it.

This happened to me too. It has only happen once for me. I get my daily's done before I go to sleep. When I woke up I noticed I had to do all 7 again. I was thinking damn how long did I sleep for, did I sleep a whole day lol One glitch I don't care about reporting, I re-did my daily's again & got 10 bars in 1 day.

I've got one. Upper Left Paddle = RS to activate Deadeye / So I can move, aim & activate Deadeye more fluently. Lower Left Paddle = Down D-Pad to scope in. So I can move, aim & scope in without having to remove my thumb away from the stick. Right Upper Paddle = Left D-Pad to switch shoulder while aiming. Same reason, so I don't have to remove my thumb from the stick to switch shoulders. Right Lower Paddle = LS to crouch. Make it more fluent. So there's no issue with my movement when I have to click the LS stick in.

I believe that coat was a limited stock item awhile ago in the beta. But, I noticed that the Pelt Half Chaps fur ones, are available again this week. They first appeared awhile ago too in the beta. So hopefully the limited stock items that we missed will appear again.

StuASSpid - Missouri Fox Trotter / He refuses to auto jump over stuff. If I don't manual jump. He'll just trip over a 1 foot log, making me fly off. He chooses to auto correct my direction around trees, we'll just collide right into a tree, instead allowing me to manual guide him through the trees. Last time I tested this. which was a while ago. If your line breaks using the special lures (swamp, lake, river) you don't have to buy a new one. The special lure will appear back in your inventory. Compared if your line breaks with the normal, you will have to buy another one for $20.

Nacogdoches with the highest price stirrups will give you max speed on the Missouri Fox Trotter, or 3 more bars. I’ve wasted money on 3 special saddles. Found out the Nacogdoches was better. Just like R* logic to make specials worse than the other one.

I read the article again, I understand what you mean. I can only hope R* goes in that direction, what was mentioned by the G.I. article.

Ya, but G.I. Is quoting some guy name Nelson that mention theses things. I’m thinking this Nelson person works for R*? But we’ll just have to wait & see. Would be awesome if they do.

Wagons would be great, but I can see a problem with that already. Lets say you have collected x number of carcass & have them stored on your wagon. Yeah ya, going to makes some money You're heading back to camp or whatever & a player rides up to you and dynamites your wagon. Even if you see the player coming & you try to get the hell out of there. There's no way a wagon can out run someone on horseback. From the G.I. article: "Say you’re fishing along the bank of the river and a man wearing a black hat approaches. You know that only dishonorable bounty hunters can earn that specific hat style, so keeping an eye on him is a probably smart idea. " This made me laugh, 1st off by the time you noticed which hat they're wearing, you'll be dead lol From the G.I. article: "A bounty hunter may have more pressing matters to deal with than harassing an innocent fisherman. Perhaps he just tips his hat in your direction and rides past to tackle the more immediate task at hand." 2nd: How likely a dishonorable player will just ride by & tip his hat because the player has a more immediate task at hand. The player will wave at you, shot you & then move on. lol I do look forward to what R* says they will be implementing from owning various properties. From owning your own storefront, railway, mine, homestead, running a riverboat gambling enterprise or honorable bounty hunters becoming lawman & so on. If they are able to incorporate all these element into the game, that would be remarkable.

I think R* changed headshots with the last major update. You can no long just aim & hit up on the stick if a player is moving for a headshot. This still works if the player is standing still. But if the player is moving to your right, you'll have to aim more at 1 or 2 o'clock / up & to the right with the stick. Same goes for if the player is moving to your left. You'll have to aim at 10 or 11 o'clock / up & to the left. I haven't used PiB for a while, but when I did. I used it by aiming first for the headshot & then activating deadeye.

Yes, I have just started experience this issue the past few days. My friend and I have even tried to switch between our own permanent posse in the same server with no luck. We didn't switch servers to see if that fixes the issue. But this isn't a consistent problem for me as last night my friend & I didn't have this issue.

I always have Slippery Bastard equip with Def mode. Just in case I run into those special situations in free roam. When a player rides up to me with a lasso & bad intentions. I'll just sit here & laugh as he tries to lasso me. But if the player pulls out a gun. I'll start to move around him, since he can't auto lock onto me while I'm in Def mode. I'll wait for him to shoot at me & miss. Since most players couldn't hit the side of a barn with free aim. I'll throw dynamite & kill the player. Which the game will put me in Offensive mode. At that point I'll drink snake oil, turn on Slippery Bastard & ride towards the player spawning in. I'll wait for him to shoot, miss & as he is chamber a round, I'll turn off Slippery Bastard & kill him again. Same goes for players deliberately turns their horse into me causing an accident. The accident will take me out of Def mode. I just activate Slippery Bastard, tackle the player & execute him. So I use both, Def mode & Slippery Bastard to my advantage in free roam.

I agree with you, towns are problematic. I'm always in def mode, since I figured out how to use it. The other day I decided to test offensive mode & see how long it takes for someone to attack me. I was in town for a few mins. I beat up a npc & was celebrating over his body. when I saw a player walk out of the gunsmith. It didn't take long for a player to attack. lol I'm also an addict of snake oil & slippery bastard too. 🍶

excellent tips. If you get attack from behind, either by getting choked or if someone grabs you and shoves a gun to your back. You can counter that by hitting B. Which you will spin 180 out of the attack & face your attacker. But you have to be quick or you will get choked out or shot.

Here are some more glitches I've seen this past week. Daily currently disable glitch. I couldn't access the menu, I knew which daily's I still had to do and went to see if I can still achieve them. I couldn't get them done since I got this glitch. I switched servers to fix this issue. Hunt the Leader glitch: Hunt the Leader was a daily this week & when I looked in the posse versus, I could no longer see Hunt the Leader in the options. I tried to switch server several times, but I still couldn't see it. All option being grey out is an old glitch that I still have a problem with. Here is another glitch: I called my horse & the horse refused to come to me. When I ran over to my horse & saw this. lol No wonder he couldn't move. I couldn't mount my horse either. Once again I just switch server to fix this issue.

For those players that like to play PvP modes. I figure this out a few months ago. Not sure if many players know about this? Since R* doesn't give you a visual option when you tackle a player. Instead of tackling & pressing B to Subdue a player, which you'll hit the player in the face with the buttstock of the rifle or Shotgun. You can tap RT & shot the player in the face. Here is a few examples in the video. I think the shotgun is the best execution hehehehe

Yup, that has happened to me too. I have 2 outfits setup for hot weather, tried to equip the other one with the same results. I had to switch servers to fix the issue. Next time I’ll setup a new outfit with just my drawers, & see if that solves anything. 🙈

Yeah, Xbox has the same problem with Showdown Series. Normally I will have to look at a black loading screen 4-10 times before getting into a Showdown. But today I've been trying off & on for the last 3 hours with no luck. How are we suppose to get 3 Showdowns done for the daily, when we cannot even get into one lol
