I had a similar issue day 1. I found out my audio drivers were actually out of date and were causing a conflict with a few launchers (Rockstar, Epic Games, and Origin) on my computer.

That is interesting. I know there are a lot of issues going on with the game and Windows 10 but I would have never thought to pin some of them to the DEP.

Well I take back what I just said in the other thread cause here the are announcing it. I didn't get an update notification yet though. Do they do these in sections/regions?

From what I gather, and what has been mentioned.. If they do decide to do a big patch or fix, they won't announce when it will happen but rather announce what it did after the fact. I feel like a lot of the issues we are seeing as PC players will be sorted out weekly. They can't risk waiting too long or they will lose players.

I second the black Friday comment. If you can swing it OP, just wait until sales hit. I know I have seen some on sale over the years. My girlfriend has one, I can't remember what it is but she got it on a Cyber Monday deal 2 years ago for 50% off.

Mint anything that has a sweet taste to it, I am a sucker for. The chocolate cuts the sweetness of the cream in a good way as well.

I guess this is a fair point. A lot of online games can be spread thin when they aren't cross-platform. From a money standpoint though, it seems better for Rockstar not to do this since they have a chance at getting people to buy the game twice.

I tried those a few weeks ago. They smell amazing. The flavor is similar to those pastel melting mints with the white balls on the bottom. I think they are meant for baking recipes. My mother always had a bag when I was growing up and have be a few after dinner each night.

I don't know why so many people were upset about this. I saw some pretty negative reactions on reddit and other places. I'll spoiler it just in case:

I was wondering the same thing. I am just going to start it once I am done messing around on my computer for the night. I know sometimes when I am downloading a game, my internet kind of slows down and that can be a pain if I want to play something or watch something while I am waiting.

What do companies gain from doing this? I know it is great for friends and family who play on different consoles but I don't think that actual developers get anything from this, in which case, why would someone like Rockstar bother?

Well, I ended up buying the game. I didn't get the great preorder deal from a few weeks ago but I still go something. I was debating on it, debating on waiting for Steam... Waiting to see how the game goes. I just went ahead and pulled the trigger. I am going to have a week off work now in November so I can use that time to really invest in playing the game.

Oh, right. I tend to separate the two. I mean there really isn't much you can't do in a video game in the US so that is likely why I never understood it or made sense of it.

I was reading about this and some people are saying midnight and others are saying later in the day. I am a bit confused. Wouldn't it depend on what timezone you are in and they would use the central timezone to set the release time exactly?

I have to ask, since I don't know much about the online end of the game... Has it ever been good? Like animal spawning. I was reading a bit of a rant a few days ago where someone was talking about bad spawning in video games and this one was named specifically about the animals that seem to hardly spawn.

I honestly don't understand Rockstar's logic here. I know that gambling is not something they want in video games because it can be used in the real sense but the game is meant for adults and most countries allow people to gamble by the age of 16 or 18 anyways.

I stand corrected. I think this should be our new go to when it comes to Christmas. Since so many people get drained and walk around like zombies thanks to the "Christmas spirit".

Did you happen to do the encounter in the cave yet? It may take 3 days of checking but eventually someone will spawn there. This has to be done before you can do the journal bit.

I think I mentioned that I haven't really played online yet. So when I heard about zombies, I thought it was a joke until I did verify it was indeed a feature in the game. I am just wondering if this will be something they have for PC players online. Halloween will be here and gone before the game comes out and there is a chance that we don't even get to play online straight away. It would seem silly to have random zombies in the game in December. Could they be testing for something that will eventually be a thing for both console and PC RDR2 players?

Yeah that is what I was talking about. Did you have any luck in finding everything? I take it you were able to since you found out you don't get a trophy?

I don't know if many people know that this is an option. There are plenty of times people have gotten refunds as well even past the allowed play time. I guess since they track the time you spend in game it makes it easier to see who was playing and who was struggling to play.

Well only go after the ones who have 3 stars. This will save you a lot of time. And I am sure you likely know this, but it is worth saying for others... Head shots. If you get a clean head shot on a 3 star cougar you have at least a 50% chance of it dropping a perfect pelt from my experience.

I got a few, no worries. None of the toxic stuff. I just skip those.

I can understand that reasoning, makes sense. Same here man. Like the option to be able to play with my friends on PS, on PC, and on Xbox would be great but I know it isn't something they are likely to do anytime soon.

The more I think about it now, it does make sense to wait at least a month just because the game will not be available on Steam till December I think I read and also, they will allow new players to the game to play the campaign without being in a rush or falling behind.
