I've been telling people to get off my lawn since I was 15. I think I was born an old boomer or something cause I can't stand people disrespecting my property!! (even though it was my parent's property in reality...)

Best Buy is going to have a load of PS4 deals going on this year. Likely because the new console will be coming out next year and they want to get as many last chance sales as they can. Anyways, here is a list of some of the deals: Console Bundles Sony PS4 1TB bundle with The Last Of Us, God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn plus one controller $199. That’s $100 off the console plus three great video games. Not too shabby at all. PSVR bundle for $100 off. This includes “a headset, camera, multiple games, and more” and the picture shows two motion controllers as well. There are “multiple bundles” so I’m not sure which games this comes with or how much the total price is, but it does sound like you get everything you need to get started in virtual reality gaming. The PSVR is a surprisingly capable system for the price. Accessories $20 to $25 off of various Sony DualShock 4 controllers in various colors. $30 off Sony Gold wireless headsets. I own one of these and like it quite a lot. It’s blue, but they have rose gold and black in the picture. You can also use this with a PC. Astro Gaming headsets are listed but not priced. Save $200 on Logitech racing wheels. Save 50% on Turtle Beach Stealth 300 headsets Video Games for $29.99 NHL 20 ($30 savings) Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 ($20 savings) Control ($30 savings) [Note: this was a very good, very underrated single-player game!] Video Games for $27.99 ($32 off) Borderlands 3 Ghost Recon Breakout FIFA 20 Video Games for $24.99 Red Dead Redemption 2 ($35 savings) Mortal Kombat 11 ($25 savings) Video Games for $19.99 Days Gone ($20 savings) Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy ($20 savings) MLB The Show 19 ($10 savings) MedEvil ($10 savings) Dragon Quest XI ($30 savings) NieR: Automata GOTY Edition ($20 savings) Rage 2 ($40 savings) Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville ($20 savings) Concrete Genie ($10 savings) Ace Combat 7 ($40 savings) More deals and information here.

Most of the time, keyboard and mouse players blow controller players out of the water when it comes to PC gaming but I think this may be an exception to the rule since I found this to be the case in GTA V as well. It seems player who use controllers have the advantage being that the game was originally developed for consoles where as several other games are made on PC and down-ported to console.

11/13/19 RDR2 Official PC Update on Stuttering Issues, etc.
SageNinja replied to Kean_1's topic in Red Dead Online
That is cool they are giving out care packages for the issues. They honestly don't have to do that but at least this is showing they are sorry for what is happening. I know Rockstar is not everyone's favorite developer but you'd have to imagine they don't want all this stuff happening and want the game to work and function the way they intended it to not just for profit, but player enjoyment. -
That is what someone just told me! People who work on graphic design and video devs need 4k but gamers and typical computer users don't. I went to a Best Buy over the weekend (last week) and was looking at some making comparisons. I only was able to do this on TVs since they didn't have any monitors on display for some reason and I did notice the difference but it was very fine details that you could see. It just makes it more like looking through a window, so more realistic to the naked eye.

I started watching Undone. If you have Amazon Prime (or another means to watch it, hey I don't judge) I highly recommend it. Check it you here: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8101850/

I think it is great! I mean I am not really a Mr. Beast fan but I am all for people donating to a good cause. Like you said, it might not fix a lot of problems but it is still good to do for the environment.

Ay another PC player! Welcome to the forum! You all saddled up and ready to play then? Did you play the game before at all on console or are you brand new to RDR2?
-
I found this: https://rdr2pc.com/ I am not sure if it is accurate or not. I was thinking it was less than 24 hours but I was going based off the GTA forum one and now I am not sure if that makes sense or not.

Is the one pictured there the Buttermilk variation? I don't ever remember seeing it. Looks really nice though. I like the speckled look.

Someone I know mentioned that for what I do, it isn't necessary to go higher than UHD. Which I guess we can consider 2k. I am not someone who does video editing or graphic design where I would need a top end quality screen. I will see what goes on sale for Cyber Monday though.

Yeah Rockstar is a lot of things and generous is one thing that never comes to mind for me. lol Just over a day until release!!!

It's fall, which means new seasonal brews are available!
SageNinja replied to BropolloCreed79's topic in Off-Topic
I spotted some cinnamon coke in the store the other day. Is this something that is new? I can't help but think it will be disgusting. I tried the peach one and noooo thank you! I was not a fan of that. -
I think this was a temporary deal. I would contact Rockstar and ask just so you know for sure. I think the deal for 2 games was only for one week if I am not mistake but I could have misread something.

I am not big on TV watching so I never invested on a 4k TV. I will eventually get a 4k monitor though. I bet this game is going to look absolutely gorgeous in 4k.

Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Trailer/ Recommended Specs Analysis!
SageNinja replied to Volt's topic in Red Dead Online
Interesting. I will have to watch this in full later. Just about to head out. I watched a few minutes of it and from my understanding, RDR2 on PC is going to be BEASTLY! -
To be fair here, I had to deal with a lot of people laughing at strict PC gamers for not being able to play the game so the memes are just being shot back now. lol

How do you think sales will do for the first few days?
SageNinja replied to bluntTR4P's topic in Red Dead Online
I'll say around 100 million. I can't see it selling nearly as good but I am also not someone who is into sales to know. What did GTA V do in both comparisons? -
This is interesting. So for PC gamers who use the keyboard and mouse, you are basically expected to be good vs controller users who get the assist. I guess this makes sense considering you can be far more accurate with a mouse. I have gotten my butt handed to me on CS:GO. lol

I'll give this a go. I'll have to remember to do it. I know my computer will have its limits though and I am not using a 4K screen. Would love to invest in one soon but money is too tight just yet for that. What monitor are you using?

Hey everyone. I wished I found this place sooner! I played through RDR2 on my XboxOne and loved it. Fully intended on buying the PC version long before it was announced. Did a custom gaming PC this year so I am super excited to play it when it releases. I am relatively new to PC gaming but have been enjoying it thus far. I only have a budget build so nothing too fancy but good enough for most games out right now. Anyways, I hope everyone here is doing well and I look forward to chatting with you all

So who here is getting the PC version of the game?
SageNinja replied to KVNknowsbest's topic in Red Dead Online
*raises hand* I am! I actually built my PC this year. The last one I had couldn't even handle DOOM on low settings. I wanted to get more into PC gaming since I started playing on my roommate's build so he helped me pick out some parts and guided me through the process. I wanted to make sure it could play RDR2 if and when it came out and thankfully, it can run it fine. -
I can see a pretty big difference already just from what they shown there. The detailing and sharpness alone have improved as well as the shadows. Can't wait to play it on PC!
-
Currently: CPU - Ryzen 5 1600, GPU - Radeon RX 570, 8 GB of ram, 128 GB SSD. I likely won't be able to run the game on max but it should be enough the highlight the beautiful graphics without the worry of my PC crying about it.

I can't be the only one who thinks that the shooting mechanics of RDR2 what a bit too easy. For some stuff, it was harder but for the most part, it was just too easy to get a head shot nearly every time given you were using the right gun. I know online that this has been a bit of a pain in the arse for other players as well. I am just wondering if auto-aim will be the exact same on PC. I know there are no details about it from Rockstar yet, I have checked. I didn't play GTA V on PC so I don't know if they carried the same thing over from console with that game or not. Anyone know?
