My friend had an issue with the launcher not recognizing he purchased and installed the game. He had to log out and log back in to fix it and it has been fine since so there is a fix for that if anyone is having a problem there.

I am using a controller and noticed this but it doesn't happen often enough to be bothersome. It would seem like it might be a keyboard control issues but seeing as I have had it happen whilst using a controller, just tells me Rockstar has a lot of fixin to do.

I was able to use it in Chapter 1. Are you sure that you have your Dead Eye charge filled up?

I don't understand why this is an issue for a lot of people. I thankfully didn't run into this but I have had other issues. I tried contacting Rockstar for a few of them but have yet to hear back. I wish I could be of more help here but I think Volt has the easiest solution for the time being. Just be sure to remember you changed this setting when they run an update!

I tried finding this information for ya, but I can't seem to find it. I use a controller. I am basic like that. If it is an option, I go with it. Keyboard controls tend to feel more complex than needed. If I run across something with the info, I will let ya know.

When a person CLEARLY has sidewalk to walk on and instead they just decide it is a great idea to walk on my lawn. I sound like an old man but I hate when people do this.

Just a couple of koi fish. I have a koi pond in my backyard so I am fairly obsessed with the creatures. I believe I have 13 koi now. Also goes with the username. I just made it more in relevance of internet humor using two i's instead of spelling it correctly.

Oh I know, I have seen those. I will actually read a lot of them. Anytime I buy something online I will spend a good hour reading reviews if they are there. I do see those kinds of reviews but a lot of the focus was on major lag issues and being kicked from lobbies mid-game.

Played the game last night at a friends and I have to say, it looks great. I am almost tempted to get it... ALMOST. The thing that is holding me back is the fact that I would have to get it on PC. I have no way of knowing how good or bad it is on PC either because it isn't on Steam so I can't read reviews.

I'm up in Pennsylvania. Enjoying the weather changing and getting colder out. My area, not much happens here and growing up I hated it but now that I am older, I like it. I would rather live in a boring town than one that is riddled with crime, drugs, etc.

I know Rockstar added some new things to the PC version of the game which is great but overall, is the game complete and a done deal in terms of offline play? Like are they never going to add anything to it again at this point and just focus on the online mode?

Starting the preload when I eat my dinner. So excited to get this game going. Shame we have to still wait a few days

Wasn't the zombie DLC partly offline as well for RDR? I wasn't really a fan of that concept. I really don't care for zombie games in general though.

Yeah I ended up only getting one game and did see it was changed. I think the deal for getting 2 games was only going on for the first and maybe the second week of preorder? I know they stopped it though. Oh well. I still got a free copy of Bully out of it. I never played the game.

I'm not sure what they are doing with this. Might just be a temporary feature for the season. I would imagine they will do more Christmas type stuff like before starting in November. I didn't get to play much online myself so I am not much help

Same as GTA V. Assuming my PC can run the game. I like to use a controller and headset myself. I don't have anything fancy worth showing off. Like dIV4r mentioned, it is better to be able to sit back. I don't mind keyboard and mouse games but if it is an option to use a controller, I use the controller.

Having had a blast with GTA mods, I can't wait to see what people can think up and create. I would be disappointed if R* decides to not allow mods. I mean, if they are offline only, I don't see the harm in allowing people to have some fun.

I am a bit confused. I know about the deal going on but when I went to preorder the game, it only gave me the option of one bonus game for free. Is this a mistake or did something change?

Not sure if I am going to get either one. If I do decide to get one next year, I will likely stick with whatever Xbox dishes out. I liked PS1 and PS2 but made the switch to Xbox when the 360 came out. That was my favorite system.

How's it going people? I am somewhat new to Red Dead. I played RDR2 first on my roomate's console back in August. I plan on getting the game for PC now so I can enjoy it more. I wasn't able to 100% the game nor had much time to play online. I didn't play the first game which is unfortunate. My Xbox 360 broke around the time it was coming out so I been out of the loop with console gaming for awhile now. I am considering getting one of the next gen systems, we shall see. I am hoping my computer can handle the game. It seems to handle other games like Apex just fine but I would imagine RDR2 will be more demanding.
