I found my cougars southwest of the "W" in West Elizabeth. Map below. They were scare, having to find one, leave the area and do other things, come back and hunt again, but I grinded through it. I found the,m to come out at night.

I believe you just need to click on L1 vs holding it for the weapon wheel.

Nope. No way to disarm the gunslingers in that mission. It is you or them. In other duels you encounter you can disarm the person and get a hefty boost in good honor, but not here.

It is pretty amazing the amount of in depth customization you have available to you in this game so let's see how you decided to dress, shave and style your Arthur! This is my outlaw as of last night. Trying to get that beard to max length. Digging the flat cap though. Sorry for the mediocre quality.

No idea if you need it for completion or if you can get it somewhere else (probably not), but their guns aren't that great. I only have the first 3 but will let you know once the mission continues.

I had this issue as well, but I haven't beaten the game yet. I see you listed this already, but for me, I quit the game out completely and it worked for me. I play on xbox and many times when I boot up the system and go into the game, it is right on my pause screen instead of having to boot it back up. By closing out of it completely this fixed it for me. It was extremely frustrating, and hope you find a fix!

I honestly thought you were going to talk about removing the exoskeleton from insects and thought I missed a whole area of the game haha. Yeah, happens sometimes when they are on a hill or if your horse is standing over the carcass. Is what it is. No biggie.

I love it! I need to take an updated photo tonight to post tomorrow. I'm going all grizzled out. Long hair and the beard is finally starting to get out of control. Plus my pirate hat or flat cap look great with it haha.

Unbelievably simple. Spend a few hours trying to get a perfect cougar pelt here or a few hours trying to complete a scavenger or gambler challenger there. It is slightly overwhelming in the things that you can do. I literally boot up the game, jump in a party chat with my friends and say "I have no idea what I want to tackle right now" haha. Not to mention when you just get swept up in the gorgeous scenery or come across a random event, or stranger mission or legendary animal. The best game I have ever played honestly.

I have 78 hours sunk into the game so far and I believe I am 54% complete haha

Perfect idea. I also did this when trying to hit that 80ft tomahawk throw. I completed this challenge by rolling up to a raider camp and tossing a stick in the middle. There are usually exactly 4 enemies there.

It's a cross draw holster. The below video helps explain it.

I think this similar to dying or failing a mission. The camp is supposed to be hidden and if you bring unwanted attention around it, the game sort of resets a check point. Happened to me when I was jumped by some O'Driscoll boys outside of my camp. I was riding my horse close to the homestead and a prompt said something along the lines of "keep attention away from the camp" and it did the same thing you described.

Yeah no way to get around the law coming for you I don't believe. My question is what you do with the Mayor in Strawberry. Got a tip from a stranger I helped, but don't know what to do with him. Followed him around a bit, even saved than killed him, but he only had a letter on him.

I've found for rabbits you don't need to aim for the head. Just make sure they are 3 stars, lock on with the varmint rifle, and shoot. Should give you a perfect pelt. I found when I did try to aim for the head, I wasn't getting them either. Don't know what it works, but it did for me and that's how I completed the challenge.
