I feel this. I don't think that will be the case. From rumors and what we know, it will be an even playing ground. So long as DLC and RM purchases don't alter anything (turning it into a P2W game) I think we will be fine.

Was just going to post a thread on some of these things. I read about it on another site. I don't know how much of this is true but I am not mad about any of this. Everything sounds like it will be on par with GTA V online, only slightly tweaked to work with the times as well as work better than before. I am glad we can buy houses too. I did not want to live in a damn tent... Not that we'd be spending much time at "home" anyways.

Same here though I am not too fussed anymore. If a game looks interesting enough to me no matter the general, I will play it. Hell, one of my favorite games to come out on Xbox 360 is Viva Pinata. I get plenty of laughs for it but I actually enjoyed it, especially when I still smoked.

70 or so percent is my guess. This game will be known for its story more than its online platform which is fine by me. I know a lot of GTA V fans are hoping for online to be even better in RDR2 but I don't see it happening.

Good lord, over 2 million views. I just got home from work 20 minutes ago. Anyways, sounds like a decent set up for the story. Fighting against the law to keep the old west alive. That bit with Marston has be wondering a few things. It would seem that Marston may have been trying to rob Dutch in that scene and got caught. Is that how he got recruited? I don't remember hearing that in RDR. Also... Is this Abigail?

They are going to have different terrains like in the last one but they appear to be bigger. In that sense, you could do things in the snowy areas specifically. Maybe like a "paintball" mini-game. Yes, it has nothing to do with the old west but what does driving cars on top of buildings trying to knock each other off have anything to do with today's times? lol

I am going to be one of those people who has enormous doubts on them showcasing anything at E3 for us just because it is Rockstar.

I don't think it is fair to say that it is always down to money. Some devs actually do care about their fanbase. I would consider CoD makers to be those who just don't. They just want money and it has shown more and more over the years as it became a "mainstream" game in the sense that people of all ages play it, experiences and unexperienced.

It isn't that easy. You know how many types of guns that are out there? Many of them are single bullet guns yet hold much more than 10.

I read about the mental studies behind showing a person's picture on the news and how it actually increases the likelihood of other people doing shooting sprees. A lot of kids and young adults that do this are unhinged and many seek attention. When they see other people shooting guns and getting their pictures plastered all over TV, it sends a very dark message to these kinds of people. No one is going to agree until reasonable people can be heard. Guns can't be made illegal because too many criminals hold unregistered firearms and the police are quite frankly not reliable enough to protect us (look at the 4 dudes that stood out of the school and did nothing). This, however, doesn't mean we can ignore guns completely. Guns are still a problem. If people truly want to stop school shootings, they should back the idea of having armed guards at every middle and high school in America. They should also back metal detectors being used and ID scans to get into these buildings. We have better security at our banks than our schools which is pretty damn sad.

I am sure they will do some like this. I am not big on achievements so I don't really care either way. My guess is they will have a lot dealing with trains.

Damn, that is awful man! I think I get around 63 Mbps download and a buddy of mine gets around 30 yet he is able to install games a lot faster than I am. I can't change providers either cause the other companies around here only offer 10 Mbps max download which isn't enough for me.

Can We Expect More Red Dead Redemption And GTA Cross-Promotions?
CowBoii replied to NewsBot's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
I'm not sure if they will but I can picture plenty of people still wanting to play GTA even after RDR2 comes out, so why not? -
Red Dead Redemption 2’s Delays Don’t Bother Investors
CowBoii replied to NewsBot's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
This kind of stuff never matters to us gamers. The investors know more about the level of completion than we do, they see more. As investors, they have those privileges. -
What is PS4 getting in terms of special content/DLC?
CowBoii replied to Glopez's topic in Red Dead Online
Like mentioned, we will find out when the release date is set. Not sure if they did any preorder specials for this game but maybe the PS4 one will come with a special poster or something extra. -
The old west was depressing. It is part of the vibe and feeling. It shouldn't be cheery. I think they will keep to the same formula for RDR2. I personally enjoyed it.

I had this happen once on my old build and it was a loose motherboard. Depending on how you have it mounted in your case, it may not be fitting right and if it leans inward, the vibration from one of the fans could be the noise.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Release Date Voting
CowBoii replied to Alborghetti's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
Should have just waited to vote then you could have told everyone you were right! lol Either way, April or May, I am fine with either. One month earlier or later won't make a difference in terms of the amount of time we had already been made to wait. -
All the things you mentioned like buying property and such are still just speculation on our behalf. There is a chance we will just get a slightly upgraded version of the last one and honestly, I would be fine with that. I am more about the storyline anyways and I am hoping we get a lot of DLC after to keep the story going strong for a few years.
-
I didn't even consider that. I forget that I have to pay to play online because I do it once a year. I don't go month to month. I get where you are coming from on that for sure dude. I was like that a few years back when I was in a dry spell with gaming.
-
There has been talks of relaunching older handhelds again like they have done with the two mini-consoles. So there is that. Still, I get what you mean. I played games mostly on my Gameboy growing up so it sucks to see them coming to an end.
-
You mean RDR? And yeah I get what you are saying but still, if they are smart they will line up RDR and RDR2 using the main character.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Release Date Voting
CowBoii replied to Alborghetti's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
Well here I am again... 2 months later I am back and picking May.. Just seems like that is the most likely outcome. Also, I can't see another delay happening that would push it back to Fall.
