Day One Patch?

I’ve got the physical version and it never prompted me to download the 1.03 patch. Soo....wassup?  What’s the secret? Where do I find it?

That is weird. You sure it didn't patch it in the background? I know there is a place you can check which version you are on but I can't remember for the life of me where to find it on PS4... Or are you on Xbox?

Mine downloaded the patch in the background on PS4 once I started the install.

That is what I am thinking happened with the OP. A lot of things get downloaded in the background anymore with games.

@CMcC Go to the game and press the options button, there you'll see an option to "Check for update". Select it and it should detect the patch.

Yup....  What Freddie said.  I believe it's 3.2GB IIRC?

I don 't remember it downloading on XBox digital nayther.

So I don’t understand it. I tried everything. Version says 1.02, says it’s the current version, that I’ve installed all available updates and according to Rockstar Support, I’m current. Checked this by going to settings in the pause menu.  In the bottom left of the screen it says ‘Build 1116.8’ ( can someone confirm this on their console?) 

I dunno. It’s working.

Also, @Kean_1 and I are now best friends on PSN. Deal with it.

Yep CMcC….im on ps4 pro and after I installed the game, I then went online and it started downloading the day one patch after that I clicked on update history and it states that version 1.02 is installed, so your good to go....that's the latest update.

I have the digital version and the latest version is Update 1.02.

I think my patch downloaded while I was installing the discs.

Yes it will download if your connected.....I always download the game first while offline, then go online to grab the patch and redeem codes....never had a problem doing it that way.

As soon as I inserted the first disk on my Xbox, it said a patch was available and started downloading it while the game installed.
