Just a simple question really, cant seem to find it anywhere else online. When you complete a mission where the camp gets shared funds from the mission (pops up in yellow) how come they do not pop up at the donation box or cannot be used in the ledger? Does it play a role at all or is it just imaginary money to make us think they are making it

That’s what I’d like to know. Done 2 missions now where it says camp share of $300 and the $150 respectively (as well as my share and other members share that are on the same mission). When I get back to camp though there is nothing showing when I go to the ledger. Was hoping to use this money to upgrade the camp.

I'm pretty sure I've heard one of the gang mention that Dutch has a separate fund as well that you don't see.

Greedy bastard.

Just noticed that in the journal when I went to the “show gang savings” page it had both payouts I mentioned earlier, a small table has appeared with columns - on the left it has the initials of who was on the mission and the amount $300 and next row same re initials and $150. The column on the right then has the total at $450.

So so it seems the money is there, but it is under gang savings and not in the camp ledger, so maybe it can be used somewhere else during the story, I’m not sure.

Btw there are way to less upgrades.

Im at 40% and unlocked all of them.

Hope for some more upgrades in the future.

You don't have to upgrade, it is slight benefits.  I personally didn't realized that existed and spent lots of money on paying off my bounties, which was useless.

This is close, if you open your journal/log you will see "Gang money" and this is where that money is going. I believe it is money set aside that is used when you move from camp site to camp site.

It does not go towards supplies, that is a totally separate issue and you have to manually buy resupplies through those mini camps. You can find those resupply options in the ledger, upgrades at the bottom of whichever one you looking at.
Example: Medicine, Ammo, Provisions
As you upgrade them the resupply fee also goes up in price because you are restocking better quality and more quantity.

So to reiterate, there is no tangible benefit to donating items or cash unless you're purchasing upgrades at that moment?

If you donate to the cash box, those funds could possibly be lost to something you didn't choose?

End result, donating is pointless unless you dump some trinkets in directly before purchasing upgrades or resupplies?

For me the whole  crew money system is one of the useless things in the game.

You also can just buy the upgrades from your own money and it works..so im rlly confused about that system.

U did a 20k rob and nothing from this will show up in the crewpot.

And it seems to be wayne if the crew has food, medicine or ammo, just senceless.

Also i would like to struggle a bit for updates but noo u can just buy them in early game for a few bucks lol.

I opened the book 1 time, bought all upgrades at once and since then this part of content is over.

For me its a much more game sucker than the bounty system or other problems people responsed.

Sry for my bad english again :D

I donate money and provisions and items to camp, mostly for rpg reasons, but also to get upgrades and restocks, increased honor, better mood in camp (side quests).
