huningtonbbb
Im sure this has been brought up already so apologies if so, but if I give myself up to avoid paying a bounty do I lose all money on me no matter what? RMC564
I have yet to try this.. Spoiler but I was told, if you dump all your money at your camp, you can turn yourself in and the bounty will go away. about getting your money back from the camp is a different story, that I don't know what happens there... Yes, if you get arrested, they pretty much rob you blind. Ive lost all my money when I have tried it with less than 300$. Now, when I get high bounties/wanted dead or alive.. I always go buy things I need first and then donate the rest to camp before turning myself into reset all the stupid high priced bounties. If you don't, they show up on you at the weirdest times, bounty parties can spawn right on you as well. Many missions/things you do constantly put you into a wanted state or bounty on you,
BropolloCreed79
I seem to recall reading that when "The Law" kills you or arrests you, you only lose a portion of your money (it's usually about 10%, iirc), but if a Bounty Hunter takes you down, they rifle through your pockets and take all your money. huningtonbbb
can you get your money back out of the camp fund after you turn yourself in?

Yeah, I think it's a graduated fine starting at 5% and going up to 20% but I would have to research to confirm. Either way, they don't take all of your money from my experience. I think I died once from a posse but never noticed what they took. I was just starting out back then so I didn't have much. ......manual saves are our friends folks.

Lawmen take a small portion.
