Know what is depressing?

As of the 22nd this month, 2 days ago... The days are getting shorter. LOL 

I feel like it is such a weird thing.

The first day of summer = the longest day of the year and the longest day of the year (Dec 21st) = the shortest day of the year.

Yeah I guess this is because the winter ironically marks the days of "new" in the sense that after winter (death) things are "reborn" (spring). I always thought the longest day of the year was in July. Like mid to late July but it was light out till like 9:45 the other day.

Yea this is different depending on where you live. I don't live where that is an issue. 

Still cool to think about. I wouldn't say depressing at all.

Know what is truly depressing? We are all dying. We are all dying a slow death. It takes about 75 to 95 years. We will all be there eventually. That is depressing. lol

I remember when I was younger, maybe 8 to 10 or so and summer seemed so long. It felt like those 3 months were like 6+ months long. 

Now that I am older, summer feels like it is 2 weeks long. I mean it is nearly July and by next week it will be August. That is what depresses me.
