There is a YT video of a player stealing a cart from an NPC (player said you have to get a cart that closes in the back so your cargo can't fall out). 

He then went on to put a bunch of pelts and big fish into the cart. 

This is something I plan on doing, but only after some anti griefing mechanics are in place. It's one thing to lose two carcasses to griefing players. It would be quite another to lose a whole cart full.

Rockstar will knock that on the head. They won't sell their fools gold if we are allowed to do sh*t like that. lol.

I think there was a rumor found on reddit a while ago mentioning wagons. I don't know to what extent they will be added but I am thinking they eventually will.

My buddy and I were trying this yesterday. It worked OK but it wasn't perfect. We had a closed wagon but somehow still managed to lose a few fish along the way.

It was a leak based on what data miners had found in the code.  They discovered a list of vehicles:

Properties were also listed but with no real details.  .....just 10 placeholders.

Hopefully, wagons shall be available to the public in the future in order to increase the amount of items that one could stack prior to selling the items to the butcher. However, it should be limited to those that possess a total of TWO horses.
