Unable to whistle for horse?

Happens at random, but sometimes I can't call my horse. The range doesn't matter. The only fix I've found is to mount a friends horse and then I can whistle again.

This has been happening to me also, frustrating for sure. I usually have to jump lobbies to fix it.

I haven't had to leave the lobby, thankfully. Try hopping on another horse and see if that helps. I haven't had it happen when I'm online by myself, so no clue how to fix it then. Maybe call a second horse through the posse menu?

Hitting L1 usually fixes it. Always happens when you put your fishing rod away.

Never had this happen to me.  ......at least not yet.  Only when performing some activities or when I over use it (it stops for a few seconds).

No experience with this myself either. I would say that something is happening in the controls. If any of you plan on contacting Rockstar int he near future, it is worth a mention.

This sometimes happens to me but it doesn't seem to last. It will like be an issue for maybe 2 to 5 minutes and I carry on and I am able to whistle for him after that. It is strange but I am sure they will fix it. Kind of an important function for online PVP.

I've had two versions of this happen. Either I whistle but the horse ignores me, or I press the button to whistle but no whistle sound is made, but the horse does come up to me.
