TheBaconator
One of the fan favorite mini games from RDR, poker, will surely return for RDR2. It being more likely than not, it would make it impossible for them to put in any type of micro transactions involving in game currency for single player. The reason being that it would be easy for states to label it as gambling, as it essentially is. This does not put to rest the idea of micro transactions being in the game, as they will almost assuredly be in multiplayer. What it does do is make the chances of single player mtx just a little bit less likely, in my opinion.
Skrylaxx
I think this was mentioned before. Even though people are playing with in-game money, that in-game money could be bought with real money. So it is a bit of a "who knows" situation in terms of how they would do it. I think they should allow it just because the game is meant for adults anyways. The M rating means 18+ while the legal gambling age is 21 and over. I am in agreement with you, and even if the states did force them to raise the age it would not affect younger people from having parents buy it for them. It is just unnecessary trouble and attention I think Rockstar wants to avoid.

I keep forgetting the gambling age, smoking age, and drinking age are now 21. Either way, it seems out to skip out on something like this. Poker was a big pass time in the old west. I mean considering they will have prostitutes in the game and have in GTA, hardly makes any sense.
DiamondDave
Yeah the fact that they have used drug references, prostitutes, ect in GTA V Online leads me to believe they will have poker online in RDR2. I mean if they don't, it won't make any sense. At least that is legal at a certain age to gamble. Most areas consider prostitution completely illegal as well as drugs. I don't know what it was. Just a simple game that you can have a lot of fun with. Reminded me a bit of Yahtzee in a way and that game was so stupidly simple yet I loved it as a kid.

We have a bunch of die (dice?) that we use with backgammon cups and it livens up the mood like nothing else when friendly/family come over for a visit. Hearing your future sister in law say "Bull shit" for the first time (she's fairly religious) is pure gold!
YodaMan 3D
Rockstar has always been good about their loot boxes perse, you usually by an item with it. Whether it be for PvE or PvP, I doubt they will change that format.

She never swore and the first time I heard her do it, it was HILARIOUS! I was helping him move some furniture into their new place and it got caught on a nail or something and she told us to stop moving and we didn't hear her so the sofa got a HUGE hole in it. She just yelled "SON OF A BITCH! I SAID STOP!!" I was laughing so hard I dropped the thing on my own foot.
