I Don't Like To Compare RDO to GTAO, But....

Store robberies have been in GTAO forever, since launch if I remember correctly. Even Heists have been in for quite sometime. I'm just trying to understand why neither of these mechanics, especially store robberies, have not been implemented in RDO. I'm no programmer, but it would seem to me that at least for store robberies, the mechanics would be a fairly simple "cut & paste" from GTAO. Go into a store. Aim your gun at the owner. After a few seconds a robbery is initiated. If you're wearing a bandanna over your face then you can go back to that store. If not, then you gotta wait. Same mechanics, different setting.

Grand Theft Auto Online and Red Dead Online definitely have some similarities. However, they are both completely different games, but they do share some similarities which I do like. However, I do believe they can be more innovative on things with brand new idea, but I'm sure there is going to be a lot more content to make Red Dead Online feel more unique.

In GTA though they took the animals out that were in story mode and so you didn’t have the hunting & fishing forms of income. Heists were a hell of a long time coming in GTAO don’t forget. And sadly they actually heralded the ruining of the game with all the ridiculous vehicles with mental price tags. Careful what you wish for.
