Zombie-like NPCs found in RDO

I think I mentioned that I haven't really played online yet. So when I heard about zombies, I thought it was a joke until I did verify it was indeed a feature in the game. I am just wondering if this will be something they have for PC players online. Halloween will be here and gone before the game comes out and there is a chance that we don't even get to play online straight away. It would seem silly to have random zombies in the game in December. 

Could they be testing for something that will eventually be a thing for both console and PC RDR2 players?

I have had a zombie encounter on the borders of Armadillo some time before the summer update. After the summer update i havent seen or heard anyone see a zombie NPC. My guess is that a week before the summer update they made a mistake and on tuesday along with the new clothing they implemented code that they were/are    making for haloween event or even maybe a DLC. 

They fixed it with the summer update. I would nt be suprised if they bring Zombies to haloween event tomorrow.

This week's legendary bounty had what I believe were the night folk from single player in it which are essentially defacto zombies.

I'm not sure what they are doing with this. Might just be a temporary feature for the season. I would imagine they will do more Christmas type stuff like before starting in November. I didn't get to play much online myself so I am not much help

I don't think anyone has a clue. I am going to go with your reasoning though. It seems like it is just one of those active features for the season. I can't see them doing some zombie DLC again.

Wasn't the zombie DLC partly offline as well for RDR? I wasn't really a fan of that concept. I really don't care for zombie games in general though.

I stand corrected. I think this should be our new go to when it comes to Christmas. Since so many people get drained and walk around like zombies thanks to the "Christmas spirit".
