10/30/19 RDR2 Ready for Preload Now on PC

Pre-load Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC now in preparation for launch on November 5th. To begin, just log in to the Rockstar Games Launcher and click the PRE-LOAD button on the Red Dead Redemption 2 panel in your library. http://rsg.ms/26bcabe

Thanks for the heads up. I was not sure if they were going to allow this or not. I am glad they are. It would be a pain to have to wait around to play the game. I know something this size will likely take my connection a good 8+ hours.

Going to start this bad boy up before I head out for some food. Had I not spotted this thread, I would not have known. Someone else told me they weren't doing it until 24 hours before the official launch. I've been lied to!

Starting this tonight when I head out. I was actually coming on to post this thread but spotted it before I did. I am on another general gaming forum and no one even knew this was an option.

Starting the preload when I eat my dinner. So excited to get this game going. Shame we have to still wait a few days

For those of you have done this already, how long did it take?

I just want to pick a good time to preload the game. If it will end up being awhile, I will just let it do its thing when I go to bed.

I was wondering the same thing. I am just going to start it once I am done messing around on my computer for the night. I know sometimes when I am downloading a game, my internet kind of slows down and that can be a pain if I want to play something or watch something while I am waiting.
