Anc1entC0re
I see a lot of them on Amazon and even more on eBay. Things like speakers, controllers, earphones, keyboards, and so on. I am just wondering if any of these things are good to gamble on? So much of it is cheap I guess because it is unbranded. I am trying to cut back on things so I am looking for ways to get some new items for my office without spending a lot.
Glopez
You would have to research them. I have gotten some nice controllers and stuff from China but I have also gotten complete duds. If you do buy on eBay and the item sucks, just tell them. They almost always refund you as they don't want to get back feedback on their profiles.

I wish I would have known this LOL I got one of those knock-off Xbox 360 controllers since I couldn't find the legit ones anymore and the sticks are so unresponsive it is pathetic! liquidfire
It depends. If they are unbranded items, there is a chance they are decent but complete knockoffs are likely to be garbage.

Unbranded and knockoff can mean the same thing but knockoffs tend to be horrible versions of something higher priced. Like I see a lot of those generic knockoff earbuds for iphones and they get horrid reviews.
Benjo
I bought my mum a cheap version of an iPod once, basically just an MP3 player that looked like one. Where it visually looked alright the software was so terrible that I just ended up throwing it in the bin and buying her some slippers. That's where the chinese stuff falls down for me. They can make good casing molds but they can't program firmware for s***.
elmZ
Electronics themselves I would avoid but accessories can be good. I have gotten some knockoff headphones, chargers, and even a computer mouse that was all decent and really good for the price.

I was thinking of doing an order from GearBest but now I am not sure.
