Is this a game you will come back to years down the road?

I have a few games that I still play even to this day. One of them being Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I feel like that story really gripped me and the gameplay was solid for its time so even though it didn't age well, I still enjoy playing it all these years later. I think it will be the same for RDR2. The story was great and the general feel of the campaign was excited and creative.

I am a huge Batman Arkham fan. I can spend hours just cruising running and fighting as Batman.

I have played through twice. I could do it 4 more easy.

Yeah, I do this with other games I really enjoy. Recently played through the first Assassin's Creed again. I like to give it a good 5+ years after I shelf games before I come back to them. Makes everything feel more fresh.

For sure. I still play games from the mid to late 90's. If a game is solid enough, I will play it for years taking breaks in between. Recently went back and played MGS 1 and 2 having not played either since 2010.

It depends on how much I play it really. I don't typically go back to older games myself but I will watch others playing retro games. I love watching speed runs of games from the 90's.

I tend to go back to all my older games eventually. Recently dug out my N64 and been playing some games on that. The graphics did not age well but I still have a blast playing on it lol I will probably come back to RDR2 after a few years.

I tend to think so, but it all depends on what the next eventual RDR game is like.

With the GTA games, when I was playing GTA V, it was similar enough in quality to GTA IV that I could still enjoy it.  But when I tried to go back to Vice City at that point, the drop in quality made me just want to play GTA V instead.  It was just that much better.  As much as I loved RDR1, it's hard to play it as much now, because RDR2 just raised the bar too much
