Hey all! I absolutely love that there's now a new and dedicated forum to RDR2; excellent work by the admins setting this up! I'm just migrating over from GTAForums, which already had a large and active community, but was unfortunately troubled by a game in decline, which inevitably drove people apart and into social cliques. Not that any forum isn't immune to these sorts of things, but sometimes its nice to start anew and find a community that continues to discuss what they love and have in common. I actually like RDR more than GTA, so I hope remain quite active and have some good discussions. See you around!

I liked it in GTA V and I think it worked. Playing a bit with Michael and seeing his family and then jumping to Trevor to cause all sorts of trouble was fun. I just wish they had a playable female character. At the end of the game I loved Michael more but I also liked playing with Trevor because he was so mad. They could still make a main character you can attach to but having one or two others that play differently and have different things happening will be fun. One day you are robbing some old people with one character and the next day you are working on a ranch helping those same people out with a different character.

I hope. above all else, we don't get multiple protagonists. It didn't work in GTA V, and looking back if RDR 1 made me play as anybody other than john (except after the end of the game) it would have really ruined any attachment, at the very least you like the characters because you have spent this much time with them and had so many memories, and i feel 3x the protagonists means 3x less relationship. please R*, not again.

^ That is a good one but most people are omnivores. I generally can't stand anything that starts as a good cause to actually help animals, people, ect and becomes a thing of dominance. I think it was mentioned above about this. Just generally taking for example the feminism movement. They started by getting rights for women to vote, work, and go to school. All good things. But now, women are treated with special privileges. They are still not forced to go to war and never were. Prison sentences are often shorter and lighter. It is easier to climb up in a business if you are an attractive female. Women can claim rape and do all the time and put innocent men in prison. The man has no say if a woman chooses to abort his child. There is a lot that really makes me bad about that but I will just drop it for now. I am for equality and animal rights, not superiority and animal worship.

This could work and actually be a cool concept if they do it right. I know what you mean. I see this kind of plot a lot in shows and movies. Heck one of my favorite shows had a bit of this in it (Breaking Bad).

Hopefully the rumoured 3-playable characters will incorporate a native-american, just imagine the cool hunting abilities which would arise from that type of character.
