  1. Digressing slightly but what was there to do in your apartment? I was bored within 30 seconds.

  2. Howdy strangers. You can call me "Skunk." I've been quite active over on the Friday the 13th: The Game forums - which, heartbreakingly, is currently dying a slow, gurgling death. So, here I am! The only other game to perk my interest the way that one did was the original RDR. So I'm quite jazzed about this one, especially the multiplayer aspect. Any advice or suggestions for a newbie? (NOTE: If it includes a hand gesture or my mother, I'd like to politely decline in advance.) See ya in the badlands, - Skunk

  3. If you want someone to roll with, you can add Truth Ride on Xbox One. I don't mind blowing my cash if it means killing some griefers.

  4. I did think about naming my gang "The Archbell Gang" but I just preferred the idea of using something other than my name, my Crew that I started in 2012 for Max Payne 3 and later GTA Online is called Pool Sharks but seen as Pool wasn't invented until after 1900 I wanted to go under a different name while keeping the vibe of my Crew so I settled on The Billiard Bunch.

  5. My family pre-ordered it for me and I still don't know. *wink wink and it is driving my son insane, has even got on my xbox and clicked on it so it gives that warning about how I have to wait, that I tried to access too early. Oops! I accidently shut the xbox off by mistake and missed the whole thing. I must admit it has been a lot of fun between him and I building upto the release of the game.

  6. I have to say like the others, if it really doesn't advance the story, well it doesn't need to be in there. I for one usually skip those scenes, never know when my son may be watching or even walk in the room. It would require "The Talk" and really don't want to have it started by something he sees in a video game with corrupt morals. But hey, that's just me.

  7. Can probably assume that it will all be very similar to how GTAO works.

  8. Hard to say but I am guessing they won't allow this simply because people can take over servers and if one person joined by themselves, they can just screw the guy over. I could be wrong. Really, if you wanna play with people, join as a party, problem solved.

  9. I think the only people who would really enjoy sex scenes in a video game like this are the same people who enjoyed playing those bikini volleyball games from back in the day. If it is not telling a story, it doesn't have to be in the game. Just my opinion.

  10. Same here. Like I do see people joking about it online but most people aren't up in arms over it. Maybe this is on certain forums or something. I don't even remember reading anyone on here panicking over it.

  11. I have only seen a few people who really believed the game would be ruined by this. They aren't like some indie devs on Steam. They want the game to be enjoyable, not just gain a profit from the fanbase.

  12. Honestly, I have no fears regarding RDR2 because I'm pretty confident I know what to expect based on R*s track record and my own experience with their past titles. If we were discussing a tile from someone like Ubisoft however, I'd likely have a laundry list based on disappointments I've had with them. ......now that I'm thinking of it, I do worry a bit about RDR2:O. I hope it's not a griefer-haven like GTAV:O was/is. I also hope the game promotes a cooperative gameplay environment. It would be cool to play the campaign in co-op but I know that won't likely happen. Of course, I could start developing concerns once we know more about the gameplay elements, components and mechanics, but as it is right now, no one knows much.

  13. You dude needs to stop messing with children's games and play games like a man. Tell him I said that and he can fight me if he wants to. Call of Booby sucks. Besides that, he will completely forget that garbage exists when RDR2 comes out.

  14. I agree Yoda. The Division marketed the DZ as a place where you could interact with other groups of Agents and possibly join with them or maybe against them. The harsh reality of it was that very few were ever interested in a cooperative experience and would rather shoot first or just run around a grief everyone. ......not my idea of fun. Personally, I don't particularly like PvP games but I do love co-op. I also like the idea of an open world that promotes more of a cooperative experience by making PvP a much more risky venture. In GTAV:O, they went out of their way to reward competitive, corrupt behavior but that's sort of the whole point to that game I guess. I have a feeling they will be toning down that element in RDR2. As it is, I believe it's already been leaked that players will not have knowledge of where everyone is on the map like they do in GTAV (based on proximity rather). I wouldn't mind PvP. Actually, I think it would be cool if some players could assume the role of law enforcement or bounty hunters, giving other players the option whether to engage in behaviour that would open them up to PvP encounters. I'd also like to see invite-only modes where it would just be you and your friends against the AI. The one things I hated about GTAV:O is that you had to be on an open session to partake in most of the business ventures / missions. I hope that's not the case for RDR2 or at least they do something about the blatant griefing .

  15. RDR2 taking over and other game devs know it. Rockstar has a way of just crippling sales for other games and it is a beautiful thing.

  16. It was funny in GTAV but that game was all about pushing boundaries and such. My wife and I got a kick out of it as it was a bit of a surprise that you could actually pick up hookers, get a lap dance in a strip club, have one of the girls come to your apartment, etc. It was one those humorous mechanics they had like getting high, getting drunk, etc. It was cool to discover some of those things although once you do, the joke is already over. Why some folks are fixated on this particular facet of games though (nudity and sex) is beyond me. In RDR2, I'm sure they will be some but I doubt they will overdo it. ......I'm with Benjo on this one as I could really care less to be honest.

  17. It’ll be at least as graphic as GTAV. On the topic, I have a feeling Arthur and Sadie are involved. There’s some history there or they become a couple. Something.

  18. Maybe a few bare chests but nothing too far. I'm not interested in playing a porno just so some nerd who's never kissed a girl can get his rocks off.

  19. They are doing it so people can still choose their edition of the game. Makes sense really but the price should be lower given that fact.
