A powerful, emotional journey through the final days of America’s outlaw era, The Music Of Red Dead Redemption 2: Original Soundtrack is produced by 11-time Grammy Award winner Daniel Lanois, with all music created exclusively for the game. Lanois is known for his work with Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and Willie Nelson as well as collaborating with pioneering musician Brian Eno to produce several albums for U2 including the multi-platinum The Joshua Tree. “Red Dead Redemption 2 provided a terrific compositional space, vast and covering a range of emotional textures - a real place for my imagination to run wild,” said Lanois. “From recording with Rhiannon Giddens in Nashville, to New Orleans with my friend Cyril Neville, to New York City with D’Angelo, to Willie Nelson and Josh Homme, the inspiration never quit!” The Music Of Red Dead Redemption 2: Original Soundtrack features vocal performances from a range of award-winning artists including D’Angelo, Willie Nelson, Rhiannon Giddens, Josh Homme, plus an additional track written, produced and performed by David Ferguson. “I had a great time reuniting with Lanois to compose for this project, and I’m incredibly grateful to see how the 'Crash Of Worlds' chant has touched the hearts of so many players through the game” said composer, Rocco DeLuca.1 point

You can still build a biker business in private sessions but most of the missions require at least one other player so you'll need a friend(s). You can also do the related businesses, resupply missions, etc. (from what I remember) in the same mode. However, essentially all of the VP and CEO stuff is locked out which actually makes up a majority of the content in GTAO which also happens to be the most profitable in the game. .....e.g. Import/Export, Gunrunning, Smuggling, Nightclub and other CEO / VP available missions. .....not to mention the bunker, hanger, garage, HQ, etc. that you need to run these businesses. That is all basically locked behind public sessions which is why I use the MTU setting to allow me to still play all of that content by myself or sometimes, with a friend. Wish I didn't have to but there it is. Personally, I wasted millions on businesses that I should have spent on other more beneficial ones. If I would have watched some of the YT videos others told me about, I would have got much further much sooner. ....but I still had a ton of fun playing a lot of the missions (many of which you can do solo). One reason I had reservations about private sessions in RDO is a fear of repeating the GTAO model where most content would be locked behind Public / Free Roam sessions. .....and then Free Roam being a free for all crapfest just like GTAO without an option for those of us trying to escape unabated griefing to participate in a good portion of the content. That is one reason why I (personally) am glad R* took the route they did with Free Roam. I won't mind separate lobbies as long as they don't lock out content like that. .....obviously some things simply won't make sense in solo / invite-only sessions which is understandable.1 point

I would fully get behind a content creator... as long as it comes with the ability to choose what content i want to play... I can think of a million better ways to spend a few hours than randomly hopping around poorly made crappy showdowns created by players with no talent for it... (or a bunch of poorly created rockstar ones for that matter).1 point

I took care of the problem. I registered a different account: The Blue Hare. So my new policy announcement and a post or two are pending review by an administrator. I tagged you in one of them. Thanks for all you do for this forum. It would drive me crazy. So, sadly, pls delete The Blue Hare Crew and Aces and Eights posse recruitment pages. Looking for new horizons and peaks as Bluegrass 'shiners Maybe three is a charm.1 point

I watched the "Deadwood" movie a few days ago but forgot to keep you posted. The movie was absolutely amazing, and I very much enjoyed it. Definitely give the movie a watch. Also, if you haven't seen series of Deadwood, I'd watch that first before going into the movie. I thought it was a perfect way to end the Deadwood series.1 point

My opinion is just use whatever saddle with hooded stirrups and fastish horse you like the looks of. You won't notice a difference between your ride and players riding the horse + saddle combo with "teh best stats!!!". My Turk with not the best saddle gets me everywhere just as fast as anyone else and faster than most. The stamina bar is always full or near full until I L3 and it fills again.1 point

The MTU setting doesn't have the same effect in RDO as it does in GTAO Lumper. In fact, if you try to change it by any significant amount in RDO, the game won't load. ....believe me, I tried when RDO was first released. When I mentioned the MTU trick it was regarding GTAO exclusively. .....where encounters with randoms are very fast and chaotic. Also, it's only manipulating the game in that it helps force you into sessions by yourself or just a few others who (surprisingly enough) are typically quite friendly as they are usually trying to do the same. The alternative is that I would have uninstalled the game long ago if I hadn't. Personally, I have zero problem with it because 1) I'm not using it as an exploit to gain an advantage over other players 2) It has given me what is essentially infinite replayability of a game that would have otherwise been limited. I still play GTAO and have since it's release on PS3. I was just providing a way for others to potentially still enjoy the game too.1 point

Yeah, no real complaints as in I'm willing to just play the game without much issue in regard to the anti-griefing mechanics or griefers themselves. No, not al all. ......but then I know you're just being facetious and/or choosing to belittle my opinion / personal experience on the subject at this point. I'm not lying about my experiences HuDawg. I simply don't have the level of issues you think I have with griefers in this game. In fact, I came across one last night that I would be hesitant to even call a griefer as they were simply acting oddly and then participated in our side mission. ....killed me once, grabbed the loot and then I retrieved it after killing them. Killed me again (left myself wide open) after the mission so I actually got to use the parlay option for the first time in many months. We also had other players near us at Thieves Landing doing things that were suspicious but they didn't interfere nor impede our progress. Most of that was our own fault for playing side missions, etc. in the same area in which we spawned into the game. Normally, I travel to another side of the map first. ......but I've explained these kinds of tips many times before in these discussions. Well HuDawg, I'm really sorry you're so bitter about the game and perhaps those of us who helped provide our feedback to R* during the beta. I actually enjoy playing it with the exception of some bugs I encounter from time to time (e.g. couldn't have our friend join our session last night) and a desire for more content. I never really had a huge issue with griefing after the updates started coming and much less so with the latest being implemented (opposite of the apocalyptic picture you keep trying to paint around here). I'll say it again... I don't share your cataclysmic vision of an Free Roam ruled by griefers exploiting all of the anti-griefing mechanics in the game neither in theory nor in actual in-game experience. Again, I get that some will always find ways to exploit the game's mechanics but it's just not happening the way your trying to paint it. Perhaps I could be a little more sympathetic to your opinion if you weren't so dismissive of mine.1 point
