  1. It is ridiculous that you can't fish without someone up on a cliff sniping you for no reason whatsoever. For those that argue that this is reality, no it isn't. In the real world wild west, no one, including outlaws, went around shooting someone without a reason. Innocent bystanders or people minding their own business were not targets for killing. Robberies, yes. Shooting, no, unless they didn't cooperate.

  3. We've run that one about four times without incident... I will admit to being a little confused about placing them the first time but my Posse members figure it out

  4. Hate to disagree with you, but your argument is true only for a very few. The overwhelming majority of people commit violent crimes for some reason or another (money/fame/need/revenge/religion etc). Unsolved crimes do not prove anything one way or another because they are unsolved ie no one was identified as the criminal, so a psychological profile of the criminal(s) could not be completed.

  5. I agree. One of the reasons I don't play as much as I use to. Then again, I don't get griefed as much either.

  6. Nah. They’re fairly minor boosters for the most part, a far cry from cheat modes... and absolutely everyone has access to the same various cards and counters to them (level dependant). I see them more as just a special ability you can choose to train in, much like any other RPG type character abilities.

  9. Personally, I don't care if my name gets thrown out there in a forum. I'm an adult and things like that don't bother me in the least. But rules are rules.

  10. Why exactly is online gaming about wasting others' time? When did it stop being about having fun playing and enjoying a game? I understand not getting mad, but for so many. To have fun in games like this, too many feel they "Have to" disrupt the fun of others. The game designers feel a need to design the game so this becomes a priority.

  11. I do. I lasso, hogtie and loot. Then look for a gator, cliff, or body of water (doesn't have to be deep). You can even be creative-- hide in the bushes and rope them as they ride by. Even better, use a machete, throwing knife, tomahawk or other melee weapon. It's good practice. So I don't think Rockstar would put a high priority on that.

  13. Too bad about the naming rules. Cheaters should be called out so others can avoid them.

  14. No doubt. That was my fear of what separate lobbies might be if they were ever introduced in RDO. Quite honestly though, I just don't expect that is the route R* wants to take with this game. Yeah, I was speaking mainly to businesses and related activities. Obviously heists, races and such are outside of private and public sessions (their own deal). I like the heists but not the races or any of the PvP modes. We should do a few heists and such in GTAO one of these days. I haven't had a chance ot most of that content since I really never had friends who were interested in GTAO.

  15. The embarrassing thing is I only figured this out about 2 weeks ago. I posted that back in March!! I was surprised when nobody commented after I figured it out, I Was like, wait no one realized what I was missing? IT took me a while but one day it just clicked, and I realized, DOH! Im so stupid, how can I miss that? But lol I did figure it out, and when I was able to use it it was oh so satisfying. Thanks for being the one person to actually read my comment, realize what I was doing wrong and then comment to help me, thanks man.

  16. There are some great answers here. Here's my 2¢ worth. A single ability card costs $900. 50 initial, 350 upgrade. 500 Max. Before you sink that much cash into a single card, you have to determine its long-term value to your style of play or need. 🐰

  19. The Definiteive saddle stats guide As you will see, the three best saddles are below, and one for comaprison that is available at lower levels, so if you can not yet get one of the three I listed, you can see about the Nocogdoches possibly. Best saddles in the game are as follows: Saddle stats: PANTHER TRAIL SADDLE Stamina core drain -26% Health core drain -20% stamina regen rate +24% stamina drain rate -50% XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX BEAVER ROPING SADDLE Stamina core drain -20% Health core drain -26% stamina regen rate +24% stamina drain rate -50% xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx RATTLESNAKE VAQUERO SADDLE Stamina core drain -24% Health core drain -22% stamina regen rate +24% stamina drain rate -50% XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX NACOGDOCHES SADDLE Stamina regen rate +20% Stamina drain rate -35% Stamina core drain rate -18% health core drain rate -20% Nacogdoches Saddle These numbers include the stirrups for $144 added to the saddle for these stats. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx As you can see, the above examples are the highest stats and for comparison one of the more popular saddle choices for lower levels, the Nacogdoches. The beaver and Panther are very similar, and the two best saddles for stamina and health drains.

  20. How do you report things like this? I got tired of the griefing so I decided to do some stranger missions on my own, figuring it was a way to have some fun outside of free roam. But apparently people have figured out where you spawn back to after a mission and just wait there to kill you. For example, I did wagon recovery from the Valentine post office and it said mission passed and dropped me back outside the front door of the post office. Literally one second after I got dropped back into free roam, while I was watching the screen inform me how much cash/experience/etc I got, a guy was choking me to death. Then I respawn a short distance away and immediately his posse was right there on horseback waiting to kill me. Didn’t even have a chance to pull a gun or call my horse. I thought I understood the concept of griefing, but when you get killed literally one second after getting dropped out of a successful stranger mission, that’s going too far imo. Poker is about the only thing I can still enjoy at this point, and even then I’m expecting some outside griefer to split my head open with an ancient hatchet while I’m dealing cards. Too many people have learned how to game the system in too many ways. Add to that they all do some kind of “cougar glitch” and apparently get unlimited money, the whole thing is just absurd.
