Bonnie McFarlane and Sadie Adler won't have to do the ol' spit-shine on their rifles for ages now that Gun Oil is free this week! (On a serious note, I'd like to see them doing different animations or even chores around their homesteads instead of sitting in one spot, cleaning their guns endlessly)1 point

Makes me wonder about Wagons and War Wagon in the Future that players can own. As of now.. That War Wagon in that one co-op mission can easily be destroyed with one Dynamite Arrow. The only wagons I love are the One horse wagons.. Things are so fast and wild. I need a one man wagon with a keg filled with snake oil or rum.1 point

Buy none of them. The saddle you want is the Nacogdoches. Costs a little over 500 bucks.1 point

Having wagons fully loaded actually brings another "job" to the game, bodyguards/mercenaries/outriders or whatever word we can use for those who hire themselves out to protect your product. Just like some of the missions we do and have to fight off those that would take our wagons, yes?1 point

Wagons would be great to transport goods and for other tasks of course. I'd also like to see properties become available for purchase. .....similar to GTAO where we can make them spawn points, have a gun locker to put those unused weapons, etc. Camps are ok for out in the field near where you might be doing your thing but I would still like to have a place that we can call home to upgrade, possiblly run business(es) from, store equipment/wagons/horses, etc. I also like being able to spawn into the world in a secure spot sometimes. I know that may sound redundant considering we already have the camp, post office, stable and such but I dunno, I still want them and I think they can offer unique opportunities.1 point

Here's the link to the article for those who want to read it. Assuming this was the one you meant?: https://www.gameinformer.com/2019/05/14/rockstar-outlines-the-future-of-red-dead-online They delve in a little deeper than the official announcement R* made at the time. Personally, I like their take on RDO and the direction they're going with it. I'm also looking forward to the new roles coming this Summer and the related businesses, tasks, equipment, etc. Can't wait to see what's in store.1 point

New suggestion to float before I submit: Hatbands - Take your favourite hat and unlock a fancy new hatband or trinket (feathers, conchos, beads) for it. It would give a more personalized flair. My absolute favourite hat is the Diamondback Hat but the big whole snake as a hatband is absolutely hideous and "tacky", especially on the black one with a grey snake with beady red eyes. I ended up purchasing the female Dauphine outfit for its black Diamondback Hat variation with the pink snake (ugh) because it didn't have red eyes and it seemed like a darker shade of black. If I could get the Kennedy hatband on the Diamondback Hat, hooey! 😍1 point

I myself am always itching for any excuse to dish it out. Because that's the how things work in Red Dead. Theres a huge difference between itching for an excuse to dish it out. And randomly dishing it out to people for no reason.1 point

How would you know if someone was a red blip for defending themselves or not? Unless you witness the whole thing you're just guessing at the guilty party and potentially harassing someone who was defending themselves. I looked at your recruitment thread and saw mention of protecting new players. I'm only in the low forties myself but have found if anything it's the new players taking cheap shots. Once I've recovered from the shame of being put down by a carbine I'm inclined to dish a little back. By your reckoning you could then decide I'm bullying a new player when you arrive at the scene. People often seem keen to appoint themselves the law/go vigilante. Appalled if someone shoots at them but itching for any excuse to dish it out. I can appreciate being annoyed if someone randomly takes a shot at you. if you shoot at me I'll shoot back, I'll miss but I'll shoot back. I can also appreciate enjoying that shooting back. When I ride with my posse often enjoy the attacks as it that battle can be fun and breaks things up (although we never shoot first). If i didn't want any interaction with other players I wouldn't play online. if you come across someone being randomly attacked an step in all good (I've appreciated help I've got in this regard a few times) I just think we need to be cautious in appointing ourselves as judge, jury and executioner when we don't have the full picture. Also if you enjoy the shoot outs that's fine but there's no need to dress it up as a calling/moral crusade.1 point

Last night I had a posse of 4 kill me while fishing. I came back and shot all 4. They then proceeded to come at me from all sides with explosive rounds and incendiary buckshot. I kept running towards them doing the jig. They were getting irritated according to the language they were using. I kept silent until they wasted all their ammo. Finally said guess you need duck fat now. Slowly road away without any issues.1 point

Yesterday I found an influx of players riding up to me while I was in Defensive mode, minding my business and aiming at me or pulling out their knife or lasso while approaching me. I checked one's level and they were 35 so not necessarily a new player. I'd pull out my Pump Action shotgun or Lancaster repeater and give them a staredown. Some rode off and some shot me once or pulled me from my horse. I killed some while stuck in Free aim from being in Defensive mode and they moved on. Then I spawned into a fresh session just outside of Blackwater and immediately reactivated Defensive mode. Within the 30 seconds it took to enable a player from a posse rode up to me and shot me in the body with lock on aim. I locked onto him and shot once, then Defensive kicked in and we couldn't lock onto each other anymore. He rode off and I called my horse to leave. Just as I got to my horse he headshot me with the bow as I was mounting up. Then I notice his whole posse was red and they started talking over their headsets. The guy who killed me asked his posse leader how I was able to turn my dot invisible and why he couldn't lock onto me. The leader said that I probably entered Defensive mode. This thought just came to me. What if there was a meter system similar to the wild horses who will become spooked when you lock onto them? If I'm in Defensive mode and a player in Offensive mode comes up to me and keeps their reticule on me for over 2 seconds, I can look back at them and press Square if I'm feeling threatened to tag them as a hostile player. Once they shoot me once while I have them tagged as hostile I should be able to lock onto them. If I kill them, I could not incur a hostility increase or Murder charge. The key mechanic is they have to shoot or strike me first. This way it cannot be abused, because right now, people are waiting for me to make the first move of action, as if they're baiting me.1 point

My Posse versus is all ways grey out. To solve the problem I have to keep switching servers / reform posse / create a camp and see if it works. If it still doesn't. I had to switch servers and try again. I had to switch servers 3 times before it started working. Also, it still might glitch after the 1 race.(Like it did for me) I switch servers again and it started working again. I only seem to get my posse versus (race, bird, herb contest )working in The Heartlands, right under the Heartland Oil Fields.1 point
