( Trotters another horse pun ) But we also do collecting and bounty hunting. I have officially set up my Posse as Only Fools and Horses. Blackwater . Valentine . Saint Denis. I am thinking about calling my horse Rodney after Dave. We will play Defensive mode and Never shoot 1st when were not running deliveries we are drinking beer and playing poker watch out for my 2 pair I have a pair of aces and another pair of aces. I had the same issue and just figured R* had a new feature. Buy something that doesn't work or show up. I new it would be fixed sooner or later. I am surprised it was sooner myself.

Well, this isn’t a LeMat, but the principal is similar (only it’s a six shooter without a little front stuffer shotgun). You can see the cutout in the side that allows you to drop in your powder charge, wad, ball etc... the. As you rotate the cylinder there is a lever built in that allows you to pack it all down. I dunno..... The increase in animations speed, movement, etc. was minimal IMO / IME. ....although I would have preferred them to actually slow releads way down rather than speed them up given just how ridiculously fast they were to begin with. .....nothing real about that. Either way, R* games always had an arcadey feel to them in relation to their gunplay and character control. However, they create really immersive worlds which is what their draw is to me. No radar in a tactical shooter makes sense to me. ......not in a game like this though. At least not without a lot of other changes including no auto aim, realistic reloads, ammo and weapon management, etc. Having said that, I would love to see a hardcore mode with these elements in it. If I can find the article about R*s decision to go with a "one mode" option, I'll post a link. They really wanted to crate an online game mode for all rather than splitting up players. Fact is, not everyone is going to like everything they do with it and some will likely never be happy regardless. IMO, RDR2 is nowhere near the same gameplay experience GTAO is due to it's pacing and other aspects and none of the changes they've made make me feel that their intention is to draw RDO toward that. .....most if then are just the opposite in fact.

Actually no, I like my radar. As mentioned I a previous post, it’s what helps compensate for the fact that you are controlling a 2 dimensional screen (no matter how beautifully crafted to give you a 3D impression).

It was no accident. Actually it was the biggest wind-up to throwing a punch I've ever seen my character do. Clearly his frustrations accurately mirrored my own.

It kept rearing up at the hideout not letting me get on it. My fault for using the Arabian I suppose but it seems to have got way worse at being scared of its own shadow since the update. Gonna switch back to the MFT or one of the new horses to get a break from it I think. We're no longer on very good terms after I punched it in the face twice yesterday - it didn't even kick me back. I have to wonder about the citizens of Red Dead - I get reported for animal cruelty for killing a wild turkey but nobody bats an eyelid when I punch my horse in the face on the main drag in Valentine.

Radar compensates for the absence of sensory inputs that you would have if you were really in that environment, it isn't about realism for a game set in the late 1800s - its the fact its a videogame. I'm firmly in the pro-radar camp for free roam. That said, I can understand the frustration that it's allowed in certain game modes and agree that those modes would be enhanced by preventing all players having radar. I don't understand R*'s reluctance in offering opt-in free-aim and no-radar servers or game modes.

Imo the Horse always trying to play it hard, by doing weird stuff.. Been running into several trees, while chasing a bounty! ... But i would be level 100 BH (if that was possible) if the "Black Screen, only gold payout" Was not currently glitching. really annoying!

Yeah, the xp is specific for all roles but trader seems to give more for doing less (fewer missions) than BH and collector just ranks up as you move around the world and stumble upon things while doing other tasks. I did wonder about the timer with BH (and other role missions) and I have started taking the bounties to a cop-shop near where I want to be rather than the nearest one it comes up with to help with that. The 680 xp bounty did take a long time as I had to chase him across half the map after my horse was being a di*k.

Yeah, been havin a blast.. haha level 19 (Distinguished) only need 1, then its done, and i can try out the trader or collector. If you do bountys, you only progress that role, and get some XP for your ordinary ranks aswell. I recommend you to deliver, when the timer goes under 15 seconds. If you got alot of time, just go hunting, and skinning.. it will gather some bonus XP for ya in the time..

Level 19?! 😮 Good effort! Does progress speed up like the other roles when you get to higher levels? Yesterday I got about 680 xp for 1 bounty and thought great, things are starting to get somewhere but then next bounty I only got 300 xp (both delivered alive). Seems like quite a grind to level up BH but I guess at least it gives me something to work towards in the game.

I am level 19, - But i have several friends level 5 who got them 2.. I think it could be a weekly thing, or a daily thing. They should appear for you too mate.

I have only played a couple sessions since the release. I have basically just started 2 of the 3 roles and I'm further on the Bounty than anything else. Trouble is, I was getting that problem where the XP wasn't being applied so I'm probably one more capture before I get to lvl 2. I also had the disconnect issue many have been having since the release of the update but it didn't bother us the last time. .....although my buddy had issues with his horse not moving when initiating another bounty until the end when it seemed to let up. Hoping they can fix these bugs soon. .....and @BropolloCreed79, maybe when they fix the current discon issues it might finally fix your long standing problem. ....fingers crossed.

I love your "anti-auto aim" posts, @HuDawg Don't ever change, bro. I respect and admire the dedication to the cause. Auto Aim in pvp is the equivalent of letting the kids in little league hit the ball off the tee after they swing and miss at three strikes.
