This update seems pretty slim on top of that. .....but they are still trying to fix the game. I logged in the other day after weeks of being away and was surprised to see tons of animals on a packed server. Fixes are at snails pace but they are still working on it. I'm planning on putting in some more time since the animal spawns were the main reason I shelved the game for a while.

Much appreciated... yeah... someone passed along a link to NVIDIA 442.37 drivers to no avail... this is heart breaking. I would really like to progress. At this point I am very attached to the story/characters.

Well, my new tv arrived yesterday, WoW!! This thing is beautiful. I ended up with an LG 65" E9 I have a couple of issues I need to figure out, but I know I can, I just need to get familair with the tv, but so far the image quality is awesome!! Ive got all day to dive into it and figure out the settings. this was the first time I ever saw my xbx 1x 4k settings all lit up green with green check boxes next to every single option, very cool. I put it in 1440 @ 120hz and rode into Valentine and St Denis and did not get the stutter I always get like it feels like frames drop into the teens usually, well now it stays smooth like anywhere else in the map, even at 4k 60 hz it was smoother and no stuttering, only thing different is my tv, on one is lags and stutters on the other it doesnt, I cant wait to get this all set up today and really see my games in all their glory, time to go back and play the story mode again now. I solved the two issues I had, and now......It is perfect!! so awesome!! There was a firmware update that solved the hdr thing, and black screens and there is a deep color setting for hdmi and when I disabled that, smooth as butta when I pan now, so 100% back to perfect and now looking even better than before. RDR2 on an oled is the pinnacle of my gaming life to this point, 40 years of gaming, this is the best Ive ever seen.

Let me know if you have any success with this cause a friend was asking the same thing just the other day. I have no idea how to do this stuff so I didn't know what to tell him lol

Yeah that works now. Around the beginning of 2020 that became an option when they did an update. Kinda ruined trader role though. IMO. When there's no risk of losing your stuff it just seems kind of boring to me. Just going through the motions. Its like choosing a legendary bounty, and when you load in , you find the bounty already hog-tied and sitting in front of the sheriff station. Wow, that was fun.

I am playing on xbox one x. It has not always been like this with the weather. Only the last few weeks. Just seems weird they would change the weather settings after all this time.

Anyway, flower collecting is going well. ... and my hostility went back down almost immediately after I rejoined today. Bounty on me was initially 50 cents and dropped to 25c by time I arrived at post office to pay it off. Apparently, I'm a dangerous flower collector, but not too dangerous.

Hell yeah it does. I was hoping they released the soundtrack but I haven't heard any word on it being released. The music and the ambient sounds are brilliant.

It helps if you just focus on it when randomly roaming. I didn't do it while in missions or active storyline angles.

Definitely! Thanks for that tip mizTik. I'm just about to that challenge now and that will save me some aggravation. I would have used the Varmint rifle otherwise.

Sorry Shak.... You might want to look into some of the posse threads and see if there is one that tickles your fancy. Unfortunately, it seems some of those groups only join community forums like these to post their recruitment threads and really don't feel a desire to otherwise get involved with our members. ....a sort of tunnel vision with anything outside of their own interests / threads. There are some active members with groups as well so personally, I would hit them up first. The thing is, a lot of folks seems to be cooling their heels right now due to some of the issues R* is working on in regard to the animal spawns, etc. A couple title updates released yesterday and today so if things look like they are on the mend, I suspect folks will start getting more involved again.
