For starters they could do better. No argument there. I care, cause they only have so much time and resources to fix things. Now to me this isn't an issue. To you it is. Now if they stop to fix this, then I ask what isn't getting fixed. Is there some glitch that is being used and abused that they ignore, so you can feel pretty. We can't reset our characters so and I won't be started over because I don't feel like a pretty flower. Now those who don't have qualms about cheating the game, so they can have advantage over the rest of us. Affects us both. I don't care how pretty you are or it affects your game. Now if you can shoot, fish, and cool to hangout with is more important to me. I ain't paying attention to the appearance of your character. So to me it is about keeping focus on the game itself and not sweating the little things in the game. Like I said good luck, but I think you are being overly concerned about appearances that don't affect the game itself.

Ok, let me try it this way. There isn't anything wrong with that character and not sure it isn't on par with what the NPCs are. To me this seems to be more you trying to nitpick. Keep up your fight, I'm just not seeing a problem.

Griefing depends on the servers you frequent. Some times I see more then others. Yet I personally don't believe I or anyone else should have to learn to avoid A******s. Now with that being said, that shouldn't be considered the games fault that players can't control their juvenile hormones either, regardless of age. Though Rockstar does need to deal with it now and not later. Foundation should be stabilized quick, not a wait and see type thing. Changing servers should not be Rockstars answer. Tricking my internet shouldn't have to be the solution. Players being just a tad bit more respectful to one another, would go a long ways. Most of these players nowadays have no clue what that word even means. Simple fact is, upon game release they really have only a few weeks to maybe 2 months to impress. After that players will drop a game and never comeback. Rockstar has taken years for this, the countdown started in October. They wasted a month given us time to play the story. I personally will give them time, but even then I have seen high level players bullying lover level ones. I have seen large groups focusing on just one player that isn't even participating in PvP. GTA allowed this crap and was hoping they wouldn't do this again in RDO.

Ok, so is that your heidious character that your are sooooo ashamed of. Cause other then a different hairstyle, I ain't seeing a brownbagging dining moment here. Believe it or not, I have seen reallife people with eyebrows like that, usually a older person. They do exists.

They won't. Griefing is allowed by the game design. There is a chance that both Rockstar and / or microsoft or sony may hit a player or 2 here or there, but they don't want to be the bad guys. That could cost customers. Thing is if someone does get banned it has to have you dead to rights. I know players have been banned in other games, while others do the exact same thing and got reported and still played for months or years without consequences. -
How to Fix Red Dead Online Error Code 0x20010006
YodaMan 3D replied to K20boostsi's question in Questions & Answers
Check your internet connection. There is 2 different ones that should affect this. IPV4 and IPV6. If your internet provider isn't providing the IPV6, you will have issues connecting or staying connected to online games -
What is the maximum number of members for Posses?
YodaMan 3D replied to NeckBeard's question in Questions & Answers
Temporary posse - 4 members total Persistent posse - 7 members total -
Well if it is what it is. Then I don't have to buy another game they, cause my money is what it is to game manufacturers. Now like you said, if Rockstar releases a game and doesn't combat these issues, which I know has been brought to their attention. Whether or no they listen, that is on them. Yet any idiot that claims to be a PvP player and targets those that don't seem to be interested in it. Really aren't PvP players, plain and simple. If they think that it doesn't affect our community, then they are bigger idiots then I give them credit for. The life of a game really depends on players playing said game. You run them off and pat yourself on the back, they sell the game and go do something else. That is just plain stupid.

I read the rules each time and for your info in future debates. Microsoft doesn't always enforce their rules, especially if they can pass the buck to someone else. Yes Sony is the same way. It is also known fact that in the gaming industry no one wants to be the bad guy and be the one that cost the companies customers, even if they are detrimental to their business. They would rather set back and let things blow over. I experiences with these things have proven this to me time and time again. -
I am all for friendly competitive PvP, yet freeroam maps that "fun" PvP requires you to interrupt some else's fun for you to enjoy the game. PvEvP doesn't work, if the players have no interest in working together. Far too many PvP players aren't smart enough to know when a player isn't interested in PvP. Just this morning I went to sell my fish after a fishing trip. A player killed me while I was talking to the butcher. WTF? So I respawn and go back to the butcher, kind of on a time crunch, so I don't want to get involved in needless PvP. When I respawn another player rides out and kills me. Still never fired a shot, not that I was given a chance after respawn to grab my weapon and fire anyway. Respawn again, figure hell with it I, I go back to what I was doing and avoid dying. Head to back to fishing. Checking my map just in case. I the last of the three that was in that town follow to where I am and unload on me. Funny not one of those idiots seemed to notice I didn't respond, I walked away each time. After that I just quit. Not once was it fun for me or what I was doing. Did they care, apparently not. Was it griefing not really, cause it wasn't like they all jumped me at the same time. I don't even know if they was in the same posse or not. It was odd that they never went after each other, while they was all in the same town. Yet would come after me after each respawn.

That isn't completely true. Depending on the topic and who can be blamed for it happening. Many times Microsoft or Sony will say that discipline falls onto the game manufacturer and not the console guys. My personal experience comes most recently from Microsoft and Ubisoft when The Division griefing and cheating in the game. Microsoft and Sony sent it's complainers to Ubisoft, who would say that if there was an issue that it was upto the Console guys to enforce. Neither side did anything and left the game as is and allowed those who wanted to grief or cheat to do as they wished with a few bans here or there by all parties just so they could state they was trying to fix the issue. GTA Online also did this, if it is allowed in the game, they will always blame some one else. So if Rockstar doesn't do anything about this, eventually it will be ignored. The rules are there so they can ban on occassions and have rules to cover their butts legally. -
Played with a group, last week or so. They was all friends with some of the ugliest characters in the game. When I joined they introduced themselves. The 1st guy walks up a says we are are the Lee Family Posse. I'm Ug Lee, that over their is my brother Home Lee, and he continued I just couldn't stop laughing.

Did you upgrade her hair at the barber shop? Adjust her makeup? Like I said my character is fine, I have upgraded her appearance at the barber shop. She isn't no super model, but is fine in my opinion. Do what you want to do, but it is difficult for customization perspective to make them perfect. At least from a game developer, it takes resources that they, imho, should spend on the game not in customization. You feel different, but in games like this it is usually really difficult to match characters made by the devs vs what we can make.
-
Cause it is a game. It apparently means more to some to play the game rather then having someone they don't know online telling them how beautiful their character is. Just the other day was the 1st time anyone has mentioned that my character was ugly. My character is fine and I am willing to live with her looking. Well fine. You want to spend hours perfecting your character, then go for it. To be even more brutally honest, I see more of the backside of my character then I do the front. So if I was going to adjust anything, it would be the view I am seeing, not what others are staring at.

Things like this happens rarely, that is the problem. More players want to be toxic then cool. Though I did come across some players that found a gang hideout. Appeared they was pinned down. So I rode by and drew some agro. Then hid behind a rock while those same players shot the NPCs in the back cause the NPCs focused on me. Then I road away leaving the loot.
-
So those that just PvP, will not only level up quicker but they will also get rich quicker. Got it. GG Rockstar, not everyone can drop the ball like that.

On Xbox the other day, there was a guy wanting to get as many of his buddies to super group and run the server. At the time that I joined he already had two teams of 7 and was working on the 3rd posse. I quit once I heard and went and played another game.

I have read online when a player does something that makes his character gray out, yet they are able to move and shoot. Which is what happened to me. 2 players attacked me in Valentine a few times on the verge just doing it for being a pain. So at 1st I let them have their fun so I could get on with what I was doing. They just wouldn't quit, so I shot back and they took off making it so if I wanted to finish this then I would have to chase. By this time they already interrupted what I was doing. So I chased. They eventually, just stopped and hopped off their horses and immediately turn gray. I fired a couple of shots and they didn't seem affected. Figuring they just punked out and immediately start shooting and eventually killing me. They was still grayed out, yet I was not able to hurt them at all. So I said F that and moved on, figuring just avoidance would be the only way to get away from those cheats and then I have seen others doing it. I have heard it called Shadowing and I have heard it called Ghosting, Yet to find out how to do it and so not sure what to say to Rockstar to see if they can fix this BS. Online is not going to be fun if this is how players are going to deal with PvP.

So I can't shoot them, because leaves block my shot and I can't move cause they was nailing me with headshots. Apparently, you and I aren't playing the same game. Soon as I was moving they would nail me dead with one shot and the leaves on the trees wouldn't allow auto-aim and because I couldn't see, I couldn't adjust. Really don't think you are understanding the issue at play here. They was hitting me while I was behind a tree, like the tree wasn't there for them to block their shots.

Online I have been hunting and had players start shooting at me, even it was clear that I wasn't shooting at them. Last night I was helping a friend who just started playing. I was waiting for him to figure out what he wanted to do and a player road up and at 1st roped me and shot and killed him. I got up and killed him and he just kept coming back and shooting at us. Everytime we would defend ourselves, but he just wouldn't stop. We eventually went on to do something else, but for about an hour that person wasn't leaving us alone. Well if you got someone banned, for griefing then that is a major part of the player base that they are targeting. Many like to grief nowadays, to them that is fun PvP in online games. I prefer the idea that players want to PvP. If they interrupt my game and I don't respond, yet they want to keep attacking me. That is an issue. -

They said they didn't allow it in GTA Online, yet did nothing to stop it. If anything they kept making it worse by adding crazier and more powerful weapons and vehicles of mass destruction to those who liked to grief. As of right now I haven't seen or heard of anyone being punished by Rockstar for anything. They are still working on getting the game upto full speed. -

On Xbox, that really depends on the game. If Griefing is accepted by the game, then Microsoft most likely won't say a word. They will tell you to contact Rockstar and Rockstar will most likely tell you to contact Microsoft. I know players that ran into that with the Division. Both parties just pushed it off onto the other and did nothing, cuase they didn't want to step on the toes of the other. Best thing you can do is go in and block that player and hope that you don't encounter them again. -
Then you got hit and killed with one shot to the head and you and your teammates would have to start over. See to me it is a problem if with auto-aim that when I turn to shoot, all I get is leaves in my view. No red dot and at that point I can't run either cause it becomes an instant death. Then on top of it all, the auto-aim doesn't work, I get no red dot. It's almost like that the leaves that block my view block the auto-aim, even though they are behind me while I'm in cover. I have tried this in 1st person as well.
