I like the alien idea. It is fun and different. I would like to see something someone else had mentioned in another thread as well... that being online mine missions. Those can be literal gold mines and allow players to split shares of what they find between themselves.

I just don't understand that there is even a chance of long loading periods this time. Games have come a long way since GTA V was released. It is not like it is an old game but a lot has improved. I would be shocked to see the same issues carry over.

I love that they are doing it and I think it should continue. More games should look at this as an option as well. It keeps the current game active while promoting their next title. It is a win-win!

I know this is not really a topic we can go into detail with without the game being near release or anything but I was wondering, what are some things you can see as being possible easter eggs in RDR2? Like maybe some stuff from RDR. I would like to see some serious messages that tie the story together as well as some funny details. They can put some really cool ones within missions themselves too.

I don't understand how people are trying to defend guns right now. I get it, not all guns kill people and not all people who own guns are killers but there will ALWAYS be a risk so long as they are legal. They need to be banned already and anyone caught with a gun should be charged heavily. This way even if criminals still have them, if they get caught they go away for a long, long time. Let the cops have them. It is their job to protect us anyways.

I am glad we have a date, even if it did get pushed back again. I hate having to wait for something without knowing when it will happen. That is likely down to my anxiety issues and fear of uncertainty, it just makes me really uneasy. This is true for things I am most excited for too.

The only way I can see his redemption coming is in death. Just based on his personality in the trailer and the way he looks in the pictures we have been provided. He seems a lot more like Dutch than John.

I am not sure they would do away with that though. Like imagine you are off your horse and a long ways away, he isn't stabled. Without the option to whistle for him, you would have to go hunting him down. I would imagine you get the icon on your map but still. Also to me, the picture just looks like it is part of a cutscene.

Thanks for the advice guys. I ended up talking to "Jen" and she got very mad at me. We didn't talk for nearly 2 weeks. She came around a few days ago with coffee and explained everything. So yeah, you guys were right about something being up. I am glad I talked to her, even if she did get mad.

What would we normally consider a cut off date though? Like if it is going to be released in May then I think a 3 month period is enough so February would be the month to announce this, no?

Has anyone hit any of the higher ranks yet? I must have missed this thread when I first joined I like the names though it works very well with the forum theme and RDR2 itself.

This is not something I normally would ask on a forum that I am not too familiar with everyone on but I want an unbiased opinion. I have two friends, let's call them Jen and Jack. Jack I have known since I was 9 years old. He has always been a good friend to me but moved away when I was 14. I met Jen when I was 15 or so and we have been friends since. 2 years ago Jack moved back and Jen was in a relationship at the time but told me she had a crush on Jack. Fast forward to 4 weeks ago, I learned the two had slept together. Jen is still in a relationship but told Jack she broke up with her boyfriend and here I am pickle in the middle. Should I tell Jack what she did or should I lie for Jen?

I am on board with my boyfriend on this one. We know it is bad but there is nothing we can do. It is going to get voted out. We need to focus on future measures to keep them from screwing us over now. I know there are "unjust" laws set to protect us by not allowing smaller IPS options to be bought up by bigger ones. Why not help smaller IPS companies by giving them a chance over the bigger names?

I seen this talked about a few times by different people on Youtube, blogs, ect. and I don't think it is anything to look into. Like mentioned already, it is not uncommon for people to keep in touch after working together in the entertainment industry.

Yup! I guess if they wanted to allow it at much higher stakes, like if you became THAT wealthy in game, but then it would just be unbalanced.

I didn't consider cars being in it only because the last one we got a glimpse of them becoming "normalized" for rich people. Only the WAY higher ups and wealthy men of America would be able to get their hands on a car that early on.

I do spend money on games for extras and I would much rather pay for what I want at a lower cost then pay more and get things I won't care about, like mentioned above. As long as they do it in a fair way, I am more than happy with this.

I love the nostalgia of it all and I will always have that so it is not a big deal for me if they stop making them. I plan on getting a Nintendo Switch by early next year too.

My BF is the same way. He has to get a workout in no matter what the weather. He has played basketball when there was snow on the ground. We are in North Carolina. I don't mind the cold myself but I would much rather be somewhere warmer.

Hmm the delay makes a bit more sense now after reading that. While that can easily be fit into any gaming franchise as something that can happen when making a game, it still sounds very believable.

I work odd hours. I work as a nurse so sometimes I am working the graveyard shift. It is a bit of a mess right now, always is this time of year. I adjust with coffee and naps.

Sammmmme! I think they will have some in it. I mean considering unlike GTA, there won't be cars all over the place. They can easily include wildlife. Maybe not as much as single player but still.

^^^ I agree. They care a whole hell of a lot more than some other gaming companies out there, I won't name names but I am sure people could point of few winning gems out easily.

The news will be coming guys. I would like to think that when they said "this summer" they meant it. It would be stupid to wait much longer considering the game comes out early next year. Well, maybe not "early" but 2nd quarter is to be expected. I wouldn't want someone to leak something for the sake of being impatient.
