Sparked this up from the general RDR2 chat. I find it interesting really. I made a joke about drugs, aliens, and toxins in the water but it has to be so dang hard to keep their mouths shut on this game. Like it isn't down to like 5 people, but surely A LOT of people know. They know enough to spoil things yet don't. If a day and age where movie/tv spoilers, nudes, and credit card numbers get leaked... How does Rockstar keep mouths shut on RDR2?

Personally... I think Rockstar drugs their workers. That, or they are aliens. No way can they keep ALL them mouths shut. They don't have enough money to do that. Something is in the water...

Ehhh. I like the idea of having cause and effect endings like Jamesie said and it could make it interesting but having just a flat out one off with a choice you have to make at the end, not my cup of tea.

So from what I gather is that Rockstar is likely going to try to make RDR2 a staple under the developer like GTA is. I am not apposed to that but if you make it too mainstream, it will ruin it for us die-hard fans, so be careful.

Ah yeah when servers get that dead you are left with the people that invested so much time in the game it would kill them to leave it. I know some people like that. Not healthy man.

I would be no fun at this. Money doesn't sway me to do things I would never do. I mean it may convince me to try new things but nothing that would be worth someone handing me 5 million for doing.

I played Guild Wars and liked it. Haven't tried the second one. They do expansions for it yet? I may give it a go myself. I don't recommend Rift at all. That community is dead or filled with p2w players.

How do you mean? Like they would hurt in the long run? You can't say it would not work without even had seen them try it out first.

I would like them to do more folklore instead of horror myself. Sasquatch was a nice touch in the last one. More of things like that would be cool in my book. I don't want anymore zombie bs or walking dead.

Rockstar or any place in general? A lot of games come out at the start of the month. Just look at this year's release dates alone.

Yeah yeah... I have to stay on top of things. I keep losing track. I spend way to much time on various sites and forget half of them. lol Glad I remembered to come back to this one.

I was going to mention this as well. I started hating mainstream music mid 2000's (probably around 05/06). It seems it has greatly declined in value and talent. I mainly listen to underground music or remix versions of songs from video games. It is all about hip hop and rap these days, two genres I can't stomach. That, or heavy metal. I don't like screaming either. lol

They do have cross platform on Rocket League though. With PC and soon with Nintendo unless they declined that which wouldn't make any sense. They need to be more open to this. It isn't bad to want this option. It isn't the 90's and early 2000's where gamers only stuck to one console. In fact, since many people are hurting for money, I can see why a gaming developer would WANT cross platform options. This allows friends who are not on the same console to play together and this allows them to make more money. Most people don't buy two copies of the same game even if they have both consoles anyways. I hope that made sense, I kind of rambled lol

I just heard about this last night. I honestly felt gutted over it. I am not a modder myself but my friend is and does it with any game that allows it. He has a blast too and I enjoy seeing what he does. It would be such a huge loss for those types of players and the people who enjoy watching what they do or even playing with what they made. I think this is a huge mistake on their part if they cut mods completely.

Thus far we only had the trailer, the delay, and some screen shots. Do you think we will get more screen shots next? Basic news on the story/game? Maybe a second trailer? Or more screen shots?

May 1st. Sounds like a good day to me. Falls on a Tuesday and it is right at the beginning of the month, quite literally.

Hey guys, gals, children of all ages! I am new here. I was reading a blog post and seen something about a contest. That was only part of the reason I joined. I have not been active on a forum in a good 7 years so hopefully this goes well for me. They sure look a lot different these days. Very fancy! I have been an RD fan since Revolver so I am pretty excited for a new game to be coming out. I am hoping it is better than the last one which was quite nice. I am thinking about playing it through again the start of 2018 so it can lead right into the new game.
