  1. SB is the meta for showdown games such as spoils of war, plunder and up in smoke where you're invading the enemies camp and you either steal loot or blow it up. Everyone just puts on SB and runs into the camp and out untouched. It's boring as hell. As far as auto aim goes, I'm afraid we're just going to have to agree to disagree.
  2. My one disappointment is that they didn't add any new story missions. I want to continue the adventures of Jessica and Horley.😉
  3. When it becomes the meta in many of the showdown games it's a problem. It sucks all the fun out of it. I'm glad they nerfed headshots too, putting more reliance on body shots. I couldn't stand getting headshot from a varmint rifle from 100 yards away, it was BS. I hate PVP with a passion. Too many cheaters. I only begrudgingly participate in it for daily challenges.
  4. I hated slippery bastard and I'm glad they nerfed it, even though I knew how to deal with it. All you had to to was tackle them.
  5. They changed it so that you can now auto aim and lock onto someone using slippery bastard. They just reduced the accuracy of the shot. The same effect applies to the person in slippery bastard mode.
  6. The double gold bonus we were getting on daily challenges was supposed to end on Sept 2nd but it ended up going a week longer and ended when the update dropped.
  7. I like the faster looting. I don't want to spend half an hour looting bodies after I clear out a hideout or an ambush. The faster reloading is a godsend!
  8. That's cool. Hopefully it will lead to train robbing in a future update. Maybe include bandit as a new role. It will give bounty hunters even more targets to go after.
  9. Has anyone else noticed trains are now running in New Austin. I was down there collecting a bounty for the role daily challenges as well as searching for collectors items when when a train came and stopped at Macfarland's Ranch. Prior to than I had never seen a train in New Austin.
  10. My streak didn't get reset. I'm still pulling in .5 gold per challenge.
  11. I'm sure they'll expand on the trading business in future updates. It would be nice to make clothing items like with the trapper in SP.
  12. They don't become camp guard dogs though until the option to train them unlocks at trader level 5 or 6.
  13. I read the patch notes. A lot of players are going to be salty that slippery bastard was nerfed so badly. I love it. LOL!🤣
  14. I like certain elements of all 3, so I'll be buying into each one of them. The one that I'm looking forward to the most though is the trader since I spend the majority of my time hunting in this game.
  15. You missed the part about hunting wagons allowing you to carry more pelts and carcasses.
  16. Curse you Rockstar! 🤬 Everytime we have clear 2 hideouts as a daily challenge, they refuse to spawn. It's so frustrating to ride around for hours and not have a single one pop up. Had plenty of camps to defend though.🙄
  17. I knew we weren't getting anything this week when I looked back at last week's and it said the daily challenge gold bonus extends through next monday.
  18. Unfortunately there's nothing you can really do about taking headshots other than try to get and stay in cover to limit your exposure. There's also slippery bastard if you can free aim well.
  19. As @Chris Arbaugh mentioned above, you're probably better off going from damage if the headshot doesn't occur. Ditch the Lancaster for either the bolt action or Springfield rifle, whichever you're more comfortable using. I'm a Springfield guy myself. Use a shotgun for cqc. Good choices are the pump action, repeating or sawed off. Use express ammo and use offensive ability cards. Peak condition and winning streak are good passive offensive cards, maybe even use focus fire for your deadeye card. Horsemanship is a good card for free roam, but mostly useless in showdowns.
  20. Wolves don't spawn in Roanoke either. Instead you have to watch out for cougars. Wolves don't bother me. You can see them coming from a mile away, plenty of time to get a clean shot in on them. I refuse to ruin a perfectly good 3 or 2 star pelt with a shotgun blast if I can help it.
  21. Or the easiest way to do it is go to any place that has penned in farm animals, Emerald Ranch for instance, lasso and stab away to your heart's content. Best to do it at night when there's less of a chance of being seen.
  22. I guarantee you they are cheating somehow, just not sure how.
  23. $10 is nothing. It the amount of one 3 star buck which I see all the time. Anyway, if you want to hop around the map without paying for fast travel, just exit out of the lobby and choose free roam for the area you want to go to, such as New Austin. You might appear at the Macfarland ranch when you want to go to Tumbleweed, but it's a lot closer than going there from St. Denis.
  24. My advice is to forget about PVP and stay far away from it. It is nothing but a shitshow.
  25. You can add driving a train to the list. Got it done today, but I had to fight off several assholes to do so. I boarded the train and was going to patiently wait for my turn, with no blood spilled, but nope, they had to attack me. The train was in the worst spot for all of this too. It was going through the mountains and tunnels of Amberino. At one point I had to fist fight a guy for control of the train in pitch black while going through a tunnel. Thankfully I won got control of the train and finished that daily. Did all 7 today. Whoo hoo!😎
