I've got it, but the only time I use incendiary buckshot is when I'm screwing around with my posse. It's fun but I wouldn't say it's worth it. I use explosive rounds much more. I like to use exploding shotgun slugs for killing the animal targets in the on the hunt stranger missions since I don't have to worry about carcass quality.

I went offline last night because I didn't feel like getting any invitations. I wanted to play solo to concentrate on the daily challenges as well as recouping the money and supplies I had spent from the night before while I was involved in multiple shootouts while with members of my posse.

My biggest problem with them is having to sit around and wait for the match to end after you're eliminated. It's especially painful during the back half of the match when everybody stays in one spot refusing to move for fear of dying. It really drags the match on.

At least it looks like they separated out all the single elimination pvp games and put them into their own category. I hated those and now we won't be forced to play them if we go into any of the showdowns. It might not be getting to choose your game, but it's the next best thing imo.

I believe that was one of the games I ended up playing the other day when I was trying to complete the daily challenge of killing 3 players with a shotgun in the showdown(regular, not large or small) series.

If an NPC invades my camp, I would lasso them and toss them onto my campfire.

Not quite the same, but at least we have a bank robbery in the form of a story mission now.

I've gotten around that by removing one of them when I get to the butcher. They both remain in tact when you sell the one in your hand separately from the other one still on the horse.

Yup, I know exactly what you're talking about. Those things are rarer than a leprechaun riding a unicorn.

I like to extend my hunting grounds north of the marshes all the way up to Brandywine Gap north of Annsburg. There you'll find deer, bucks, elk, moose, rabbits, turkeys, geese ducks and the occasional black bear and even more importantly, cougar. The only thing that sucks is you have to ride all the way back down to Saint Denis to sell your stuff.

It's in the 50's. 53 I think.

You have to continue to hold down L2 as you hit triangle(PS4) to get off your horse. While continuing to hold L2, use the left control stick to inch towards your lassoed target. When you get close enough, it will prompt you to hit circle to kill the animal or hogtie if it's a person.

It pretty much common knowledge that that's one of the best hunting spots in the game.

This week is also bonus xp for all activities, so now would be a great time to take advantage of that and rank up.

I'm level 153 and I still get them from ranking up and I just got one the other day from defending a camp.

Make sure to look for ambushes, and camps to defend. Enemies have a chance to drop maps with them as well. Same with enemies killed during stranger missions. Maybe my luck has been better recently, but I've seen an uptick in map spawns after the latest updates. Also, keep grinding those levels to get one every 5th.

No. When you set up camp, you select a region and the game will randomly place your camp somewhere within that region which you'll then have to physically travel to(until you're high enough level to set up fast travel to it). However, there are campfires scattered throughout the map which you can use to cook and craft.

Slightly off topic, but still related, I was watching the livestream of SqareEnix's presentation for their upcoming Marvel Avengers game and they mentioned pS4 exclusives for that game including early Beta access. Can't wait!😀

What I want to know is what's the point of the pocket watch when you can see what the in game time is by tapping down on the dpad?🤔

A shaving station could easily be added to camp. I just bought the traveling opulence camp theme since it is currently on sale and there is a little mirror on one of the barrels.

That's not the beaver saddle that's the flip flop of the panther one, it's the rattlesnake vaquero. I have 3 horses, a black Arabian with the rattlesnake saddle, a golden turkoman with the panther saddle and a silver dappled MFT with another panther saddle.

Getting real tired of thin skinned, salty players coming after me after I just finished going after them during a PA mission. On Saturday, I did two such missions. The first, I had to track down a player who was holed up with his posse in Saint Denis. I had a hard time getting to him and ultimately ran out of time. But, when it was over, his posse members continued to come after me and killed me once or twice. On the second mission, I forget where the final fight took place, but I had to kill both members of a 2 man posse. They were swimming around in a river in a spot that was really only accessible via the steep adjacent cliffs. I managed to traverse the cliffs on foot and found a point where I could pick them off from above. I succeeded in the mission and of course when it was over, one of them can after me and killed me. For Christ's sake, don't blame me for the game choosing you as a target, it's nothing personal. If I win, take your death like a man and move on. If you win, relish your victory, be happy you survived and that it's all over and move on.
