Really Need Be Able To Keep Pelts/Hides Stowed On Horse
BurbonChaser replied to KylesDad7's topic in Red Dead Online
There have been times when I would ride all across the map when full of pelts and carcasses just to avoid towns full of griefers. Or if I'm planning on hunting near Saint Denis, I will spawn in New Austin and fast travel there that way there's a good chance of my hunting area and butcher being empty. -
I myself play a few other games as well to break up the boredom. A bit of Far cry 5 and metro 2033 to get my shoot'em up fix. Metro exodus comes out in less than 2 weeks so if nothing is added to rdo by then, I might be taking a bit of a break myself.

I am assuming that you turned in the horse at the stable and visited your camp, that is the end of the starting tutorial. After this, you could see a short cinematic and then you can freeroam.
-
Hmm, good question, I run my bolt action with improved sights and a scope regardless as it's the only rifle I carry. I only use the scope for those far away shots where I can't lock on target.

die without being able to defend yourself
BurbonChaser replied to peppino79's topic in Red Dead Online
It has happened to me before as well, not often, maybe once or twice. Sometimes we are just unfortunate to spawn back into freeroam near some players that think it will be funny to do that kind of thing. -
No, he's talking about actually snowing versus rain falling.
-
I was just out in the mountains but I saw no snow falling and thinking about it, I haven't seen it snow yet.

@jnaron_ngcMyself and @Major Dammidge replay the "kill each and everyone" mission, the one with Teddy Brown fox xp grind. We average about $45.00-$50.00 and around 926xp. Max xp we have received in that mission is 973. Plus the xp from all the npcs kills. Also make sure you are using special ammo, they give you 50 rounds of split point to use.
-
There are people well over 200 by now, I believe I heard about one in rank 300.
-
I hear you, I usually run with @Major Dammidge, if he's not on I'm usually a lone wolf. I have tried joining a few temp posses with random but their way of playing was just not compatible with mine as many of them were just to young.
-
All you had to do was equip a watch looted from gang hideouts or other npcs, no need to buy.
-
The problem I see with this solution is that basically all you are doing by sending lawman after them is feeding them xp. As for jail time, one in game day is not long at all, maybe two days and some monetary loss followed by public hanging.
-
The only thing you can change right now is your hair and such. Nothing can be done about the physical aspect of your appearance.

Real constructive and mature reply there. This game has more to offer than fishing and hunting and could be a great online experience if R* put in some effort. Adding more dynamic events and tweaking the behaviour and attacks of the npcs would go a long way in fixing this game. With the hard lock auto aim and the slow, clunky movement's of our toons, this will never be a good PvP experience.
-
Depending on your level, I would wait until they add that option to the game.
-
Yes it will, the only thing you keep is your gold and money.
-
Yea, the problem is that R* is incapable of doing PvP right, they never have. This game, in my opinion, was never designed for PvP, it's being forced into the game. 😐🤠
-
Although I'm not really good at PvP as my reflexes are not there anymore, I don't mind getting into the occasional gun fight for a brief period. Events as you describe could be added and done in structured events, this would allow people to participate when active and go sell their wares when not. There is no reason why this game cannot cater to both types of players, furthermore, the way the game's auto aim is set, this will never give a true PvP feeling. And yes, we have the single player mode for hunting and whatever, but some people would like to do those activities and exploring along side friends without having to worry about losing all their pelts and such just because some random was bored and decided to kill them while they were fishing or whatever.
-
That's hush money so we won't complain about the lack of content in this update. 😁
-
The way things are looking R* will most likely sell the upgraded satchel at premium currency (Gold) instead of letting you craft upgrades.
-
Instead of focusing on fixing the bugs which have persisted since launch so they can release new MEANINGFUL content, they focus on working on Gun Rush.
-
They should also make it to where we can sell them to crypt, he needs a real function in this game. Make him more like Pearson in SP.

Be warned. Level 91 players packing Explosive ammo
BurbonChaser replied to RED_DEADMAN's topic in Red Dead Online
Was loading my panther carcass on my horse and a level 73 came by and killed me and my horse. He kept coming after me, I managed to kill him a few times with my shotgun and slugs seeing that I could not headshot him due to his cards. This apparently poised him off because he then started using explosive ammo in his shotgun. Sad really, going around messing with low level people. -
Never without one card upgrade bennifits??
