A Reddit user spotted screenshots of an Xbox One player playing an all-new version of Midnight Club which is pretty strange since there's been no official announcement. Usually, developers play these games offline on debug units so that games don't get seen by the public eye. For some reason, one user was playing on a retail unit or was connected to Xbox LIVE. There's not a lot of details right now but it is definitely real as there's an icon for the game that can be viewed via an Xbox LIVE page. The game looks to feature a recent or the current Mustang model on the game's start screen which leads us to believe it may be a straight up remake instead of a remaster of the original game. There's no word as to when this will be officially announced or even released but we should hear something fairly soon.

If they are to implement such feature, they'd make another IP for it. Not only would it be a breath of fresh air for them (when was the last time Rockstar launched a new IP?) it would spare them of the risk of putting it on a well-established franchise like Red Dead or GTA and having to face a backlash from the fans.

It'll be terrible if they wash it down to appeal to the mainstream and make it more wacky and GTA-like. I want a heartfelt drama!!

It really is interesting how they manage to hold all the information about the game and we'll only know any bit about it when they decide to show us. Everything leaks nowadays, Game of Thrones' plot for the entire season was out before it premiered, a leak that was confirmed to be true by the first episode alone. And let's not even talk about Ubisoft.
